Saw the Aristocrats last night. Not too bad, but not as good as I was expecting. The humor was there but I wanted more of an insight into the comedy world.
I loved the originals direction... specifically the "X-factor", in terms of the villains.

I wish John Carpenter would return to his former grace.
Carpenter's Cigarette Burns he did for Masters of Horror wasn't too bad, certainly better then a lot of the drek he has been putting out over the last few years.

Cry_Wolf (don't know if I posted that or not).. very.. um.. well, lots of twists and turns, a lot less blood than I expected.. good as a weekend rental, but not much more. I'll probably watch it again. The guy's british accent almost killed the movie though. And Jon Bon Jovi as the teacher was kinda weird.

This weekend i've watched:

Grizzly Man (I rented it since i didn't know it was going to be on cable)
The Constant Gardener
Million Dollar Baby

When a Stranger Calls

Well it is sorta spooky. The house is really weird and its sorta atmospheric like a Resident Evil game.

Ah who am I kidding this movie sucks! There isn't really any reason to watch it as there isn't a plot beyond a stranger calling the girl and wanting to kill her. There isn't any gore to make it interesting since its PG-13 and this girl makes blondes look smart! This movie isn't even worh a rental.
Big Trouble

I never really heard about this movie. This was a funny ass movie with a great cast list. The recurring/inside jokes are hilarous.
It had the unfortunate timing of being scheduled for release shortly after September 11th and quietly released it later because of a sequence involving a bomb on an airplane.

Watching the Climax of Equilibrium right now, I wonder why soldiers always wear motorcycle helmets in the future ;)

Let's see...

Poolhall Junkies - Pretty damn good movie, considering the lead actor/writer/director was a pool player and not a professional actor. Plus anything with Christopher Walken gets a thumbs up in my book. Not the most original plot but I still enjoyed it.

Finally saw the 1st Transporter - The movie looked really good in HD. Minimal plot but the action was pretty good.

Homegrown - Billy Bob + growing weed = pretty good movie.

That is what I figuered. I believe that if it was released today that it would be a huge sucess. Farina is just gold in this movie.

"March of the Penguins". I had no idea the amount of work that goes into raising a young Emperor penguin from egg to chick...

Gawd, I hope you didn't pay full price to see it?
Munich, very good film.
T'was awesome. I went to see it on a wednsday night at 10:40, didnt get out till like 2AM. Well worth the 3 hours though.

Just saw Final Destination 3, AWESOME! You think it would be over played by now, but its not. They come up with some amazing ways to kill people, thats for sure. I'd pay 6.50 again.

I saw The Brothers Grimm, Four Brothers, and the 40-Year Old Virgin. Fairly vanilla lineup, but they were all enjoyable, with Virgin being the highlight.

Brothers Grimm was wierd, I thought it would be more of a fairy tale instead of well, I dont want to ruin it. Four Brothers was pretty sweet and 40 yo was hilarious.

Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. Pretty dissapointing, many elements of the material seem like re-hashes from their previous works and the story is stretched over too much film. It probably would have made a great 40 to 50 minute short. It's just a shame the series hit its peak with "The Wrong Trousers" and has never really matched it.

Waiting

fucking funny as hell. Dane needed more screen time.

The Saint

Great Val Kilmer movie. Huge pick up from 5.50 bin.

Glory

Idenitiy

fucked up movie nice little ending. Solid pick up for 4.88.

I've seen a bunch of movies since I've last posted:

Cannibal the Musical - Just what I expected from Matt Stone and Trey Parker. Very funny.

Raising Arizona - Very good comedy and another good movie from Nic Cage.

The Weather Man - Very funny movie and I'll try to get the DVD as soon as possible.

Army of Darkness - What can I say? A classic film from the ED trilogy.

I saw a crazy ass movie with a main story about a ramen shop interspersed with food related insanity in my Japanese class called Tampopo,
it was actually pretty entertaining, although it was really fucking wierd at parts

Wal-mart the high cost of low price.
Deliverance
Waiting
Saw 2
Jim Gaffigan- beyond the pale

I had nothing to do all day so I watched movies. And I have some more to watch and some coming in the mail the next few days.
