Colts defeat Bucs, 24-20
After a horrendous showing in the first game of the season, Peyton Manning responded to critics with yet another 4th quarter comeback, in arguably one of his best games as of late. With :29 remaining in regulation, Manning connected with WR Austin Collie for what would be the go ahead touchdown and leaving it up to the Colts' defense to hold a very capable Buccaneers' offense for the last 25 seconds of the game. Buccaneers' QB Josh Freeman went to work and showed the world why the Bucs selected him in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft, quickly launching a pass deep down the field and connecting. However, the lack of timeouts put the Bucs in hurry up mode. On the very next play, Freeman took a shot down field and narrowly missed the winning score with :02 remaining on the clock, as a Colts' defender rushed in and swatted it away at the last moment. Giving Freeman one more shot, he looked to the NFC's leading rusher -- HB Enrique Woods. Woods cut towards the middle of the field, catching a block, but inevitably was brought down by the Colts.

This was easily one of the most fun games I've played while in this league -- and not because I won, lol. This one could have gone either way, and I could have swore Freeman connected on that deep pass at the end, but I guess it was not to be. Not a lot of injuries, fumbles, or any BS calls happened, so it was kind of uneventful, but I had fun regardless.
Reggie Wayne apparently has greasy cement blocks for hands, as he had a couple passes right on him and they seemed to squirt out like crazy. Ugh, so frustrating.
