He was supposed to be meeting up to play me in the other league and obviously he is a noshow there too. Maybe there is something going on?

Since Zurezo's absence affects both leagues I guess I could just boot him, though that doesn't seem entirely right if something serious did come up.
 
was kinda lookin forward to that game but like i said, a loss would kill my playoff hopes so i dont want to sim the game. Playing the CPU isnt ideal (i fear for my players' lives) but if it's what i gotta do, then so be it :)

given the circmustances, i'd say boot. seems biased but it's no sense in waiting around for him. i wont be able to play later and the league is rready to advance(both of them)
 
Okay, can we get two people who can play RIGHT NOW (I'm giving until 8:10EST to respond) who can sub for Zurezo in both leagues? If not, I'm just going to boot him and both guys can play the CPU (I'll take the heat for this if he has an issue with it). While those games are going on, I'll try again with mog but if we can't get it to go through we're going to sim it once the Zurezo games finish. /commish

Agreed. Not to be an ass, but if he's not answering anyone and he is holding up both leagues.. who knows when we could hear from him. It's kind of wasting a lot of peoples times.

Okay ummm is the EA Sports online franchise website wrong or something? Why is Dunta Robinson on the Rams? It was supposed to be the Bucs trading their 1st round pick to Atlanta for Dunta Robinson...I think Uber maybe accidentally put him on the Rams?

And there are a couple Rams trades that I don't see posted on the first page's list of all trades so far:

-In either the 1st or 2nd season he traded Steven Jackson to the Browns for I believe Montario Hardesty and Massaqoi?
-He's got Zbikowski and Mcgahee from the Ravens...I don't know who he gave up. I can't recall this trade happening so hopefully either the Rams or Ravens can shed light on what the trade entailed.

And I'm not trying to investigate the Rams or anything lol...I was just looking over his roster to see if I wanted to propose any trades and noticed there were some players I never knew he traded for so I was looking for them on the site and didn't see them listed in any season.

Mog and I just disconnected in the 3rd quarter with him leading 21-17, I'd just missed on 3rd down. It's giving me the option to count it which suggests it was his connection or the servers, but this was a really back and forth game and it still could have gone either way so I don't feel right counting it. Is the other game finished?

Fixed this. They're right next to each other in the list, I think Uber just picked the wrong team.

We have advanced. After all that hand-wringing over his surefire loss Mog won the sim anyway 25-23. My record in sims remains unblemished (as in I've never won one).

I also lost Brandon Spikes for 5 weeks in the sim. Oh happy day! Adding AJ Edds (MLB, 69) as a depth replacement until Spikes is back (I'm down to 2 MLBs, and I run a 3-4)

Thanks. It was touch and go there for a while but it all worked out and everyone's happy, pending Zurezo (his subs went 1-1 though, so better than if we'd done CPU games at least!) In the end the only real victim was Brandon Spikes. :cry: I'll just pretend he accidentally took ADHD medicine again and earned another suspension. :roll:

Also the Celtics won and the Knicks lost, so that worked out well too.

Haha such a bad game! They still almost won but I told my gf I blame her for picking too easy of a game.
 
Doom, when do you want to get my 5th consecutive division loss out of the way? So far I've managed to go 0-4 (though that included a sub and a sim) and lose 2/3 of my starting linebacking corps during the run. I'd say it's going pretty well. :D My only solace is that after this I won't have to play any of you again until Week 17.

The Jackson trade was last season.

Crap I have to play you again?? I haven't been keeping up with the thread as much lately due to family time.

Hell the way I've been getting rolled over lately bv, I wouldn't count yourself out. Your spread offense always gives me trouble.

As always let me know when you want to play. I should be good for this weekend. Let's try to work around the playoff games though:D
 
Sorry, is something up with redygo? I can't remember if he had to leave or something...cause as of now he isn't in the franchise for this league and he's my opponent this week. I don't know if he subbed for someone last week and never got the chance to take over the Bucs again or what.

Edit: nm I think he subbed for the Jags last week so I'm pretty sure he's good to go.
 
ut oh. my xbox just red ringed. I'm not sure if it was 3 or 4, I wasn't in much of a condition to differentiate. :/ but I just turned it off and back on again and it was fine. I did a couple turn offs/ons afterward as well and it still hasn't come up as red ringed again. I have a feeling I'm past my warranty so hopefully I'm just going crazy. Though, knowing my Xbox love I'd probably just go out and get one of those new slick black ones.

edit: between 1 and 3pm EST I could probably be up to start a game. that goes for the other league too, though I think Lexxon is busy until tomorrow.
