So I'm against the Vikes and am in a situation that is the same as when I was against Arizona. According to the OP somebody owns the Vikes but when I log into franchise the "play cpu" option appears. So what's the course of action here? I'd feel a little bad if I managed to sneak into the play offs on account of having 2 of my last 4 games be against the CPU. But whatever works.
 
Arizona the guy wrote in the thread that he was back and would play out the rest of the season.... the steelers vikings jags were all owned teams that people had personal issues that makes them cpu teams because we were using subs for all them games.... don't play ur cpu just yet but I'm pretty sure uber said that vacant teams were all gonna be played against the cpu... now in ur case to advance to the playoffs in a battle against the cpu he might find a sub for u to play so no one argues about it not being fair... but I'm also still new to the league so I don't know how they handle issues like this completely yet

Give me til 7pm EST today. I'm going to look at the schedules of the other team's in the race just to make sure it's fair to have you play 2 CPU games. I'm running out the door now for work. I might be able to check this out during my lunch break but considering we just advanced I'm going to assume waiting til this evening is fine.
 
The long-awaited (by nobody) grudge match between Sheriff and I will be played some time tonight.

I would say that in anticipation for the chance I'll play him in the NFCCG in the other league I would show him a vanilla gameplan, but I think he pretty much knows what I'm about at this point. :D
 
All about the spread offense and nano-blitzing!! I know your style (by reputation)...I don't know when I'll be available tonight (looks like I'm gonna do another group studying thing), but I would guess 10:00 p.m. EST is a safe bet (or any time after that) if that works for you...let me know if you prefer to play earlier than that and I can just leave early from studying. And I didn't realize you got Shaun Phillips back...eek!!! My 5th or 6th string WR Cedric Kuidis went out for 9 weeks last game...so if you beat me I think it's safe to say that was the sole factor.
 
Haha, I'm not even sure I'd know how to nano blitz if I tried.

I did get Phillips back, but I lost Spikes again. I haven't had my entire LB corps healthy at the same time all year.

Hey bvharris, no group studying today (it's been moved to tomorrow), so I'm good to go whenever after I finish my poop (posting from the toilet lol!!!) So definitely trying to get this game in tonight! And I use 2 different offensive playbooks with quite different routes between the two leagues...so I aint holding anything back in our game today! I'm using every play in my Panthers arsenal.

I don't watch much TV :( I have a lot of DVD boxsets, so I eventually watch stuff...but I pretty much NEVER keep up with shows as they air on tv. I have the entire 24 series, all the Scrubs seasons except the last one, all the House ones, a few Supernatural ones...I can't remember. I like a lot of those CW/Fox shows that come on like 8 or 9 on weekdays, I watch Smallville too, and Bones, and I watched Heroes back in the day (although I think that was NBC)....I don't watch much comedy aside from Scrubs.

That's why I threw in "good" and didn't just go with "great", but I guess we don't have to agree on everything comedy related. ;) And MasterAwesome, were it not for DVR, I wouldn't get around to watching a lot of things. I rarely watch anything live except for news and sports.
 
My best friend from college worked on Perfect Couples and even he hated it. I've been watching it to support him, and there have been a few laughs, but it's pretty cliche. It's destined for a swift cancellation in any case.
 
I can see why it wouldn't appeal to everyone, and I'll admit that a big part of why I watch is my fondness for Christine Woods and Olivia Munn. But NBC cancels almost everything, it seems, regardless of quality. They're even worse than Fox in that respect. For example, I just recently read that The Cape might get canceled.

On a Madden-related note, is anyone interested in the 3DS version of the game?

That's because the cape is fucking terrible and has hemorrhaged viewers like it has Ebola. I wanted so bad to like that show, I love comic book shows and I love Summer Glau even more, but it is just dreadful. They can't take that piece of crap out and shoot it fast enough for my taste.

Lol I haven't gotten any of them...I invited you once too. Something is F'ed up right now and I guess it's on my end...I'm signed to Live and everything but sending messages won't work. And when you invite a person to a game, it's the same kind of thing as sending them a message so I guess that's why that isn't working either.

Does it give you a message when they don't go through? I'm not given any indication that you don't get my messages.

I've never seen this before... Try restarting?
 
When I try to send a message it just says "Your message could not be sent". It doesn't give any error or anything when I invite you to the game though...I'm just left sitting in the pre-game lobby thing waiting on you. I already restarted my 360...signed in and out of Live...we might have to try again later...this is weird. I'm gonna try sending someone else a message and see if it's just me and you for some reason.

Great game overall... Brandon Banks fumbling the second half kickoff killed me and then Flacco get obliterated on a play causing him to leave with a bruised shoulder and two plays later, Marc Bulger(with his child-like arm strength) tosses an INT right to a defender. On the flip side, Fabian Washington had an opportunity to end a drive and give us a chance to regain a lead but he forgot to catch the ball, leading to a FG(i think) by the Raiders.

I dont feel too bad about this loss cuz we had opportunities... we just didnt capitalize. And we got 0 hit sticks this game... WTF??? GG Doom
 
Great game Deuce. Really could have gone either way. And as you can see, my secondary is swiss cheese. I even had McFadden and Louis Murphy back there sometimes which caused me to take that timeout. Having Chris Cook out really hurts.

Hopefully see you in the postseason.

I haven't gotten to the last couple episodes yet. I'm wondering now if the show quickly went downhill since I had been really enjoying it, or if it's simply a matter of us having different tastes. But I think we can both agree that it's unfortunate that Summer Glau isn't on TV a lot more. Seriously, everything she's in gets canceled.

i should've paid more attention to who was out there on D lol. I also forgot that u had Fitz so one play in the second qtr, u got a big gain cuz i panicked when i saw him and switched my D. Hopefully, my Ravens can do a better job of holding on to the ball and JUMPING(Ray Lewis covering Zach Miller) to get to it... give u a lil more of a challenge.

i wonder how the conversation went when Fox cancelled Family Guy... then decided to bring it back after it thrived on Adult Swim

i know how Fox doesn't like admitting when they're wrong
