Okay... nothing on how he's handled the whole situation? I know you know him, but having a guy take childish shots at me and straight out lie about me saying things which I didn't while I waited an hour for a ruling wasn't how I planned to start my Sunday. Ill play it after I eat, since I was just making food.

I had someone over and we only had an hour to play MvC3 so I'm sorry I didn't drop everything immediately. I solved the problem between matches, so I figured that was enough. You did insinuate that he quit though, so I can see why he thought that. That's what I thought you were getting at, even though I knew it was most likely not the case. You seemed to think the same way, but still spelled it out in a way where it might have happened. Anyways, the problem seems to be solved now, so why are we going on about it?
 
I understand why you thought that, and I read into your messages wrong before. No problem. I knew you were playing a game, but didn't know anything else about your situation, which was why I asked. I'm just used to you normally saying something right away/attempting a party chat invite (in the case with Ramesu). I thought he might have quit, sure, but I explicitly stated 4 times that I was not accusing him of doing so, even though he kept saying otherwise. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt even though I didn't think I should have to replay him, but then he decided to take shots at me and I was kind of irritated .

So I asked because of that, and the fact that I got on to play the CPU but he is still in the franchise (at least as of 2 minutes ago) so I can't do that.

Thanks. In the future, if you're available I will make sure to try to get you and my opponent in a party chat since I was given a new headset that actually works and that will prevent anyone on either end from getting the wrong idea from text. I hope it doesn't happen again, but we all know how Madden is. I've replaced my disc and it hasn't crashed, but I doubt EA will ever get their shitty servers working properly.

Hard to say with Madden. Dallas and Chicago are capable of sneaking in.

No way to tell. Madden has been known to screw up in these types of situations. With the Dallas victory, I'd say Chicago is the only team to worry about. However as I look at the standings, in real life, the Falcons should be in based on conference record I believe.

I'm in the wild card race too, I think. Sucks that the game vs. the Seahawks got simmed and I lost (during my time without internet access). I have no idea whether or not I would have won, but a win certainly would have helped me had I been able to get it. I thought I had beaten Atlanta, but I guess that was last season when we played.

So Green Bay didn't play Dallas or Atlanta this year; 1-1 vs. Chicago; lost to Seattle. XFN lists me as the division leader, while the Madden site has me in 2nd. The Madden site and the game standings have contradicted each other before, but in this case, I think the site is accurate regarding the Bears leading the NFC North. Everything else? Hell if I know.

I play Arizona in week 17, and the team currently has no owner. What's the situation with that team?
 
Chargers 24 - Chiefs 21

One of the most hotly contested games I've ever been involved with, including one of the wildest endings I've ever seen in Madden (we'll get to that shortly). Nine total turnovers, several late lead changes, this game had it all.

You could tell what kind of game it would be from the start when the Chiefs fumbled the opening kickoff. The Chargers were unable to put up more than 3 however and the Chiefs dominated the rest of the first half, including two Rivers picks (one at the goalline) to take a 14-3 halftime lead.

The Chargers came out in the 2nd half determined to make it interesting, and were able to do so on the first play, with Rivers finding Jackson deep for a 78 yard strike. The teams were trading turnovers at this point so it was kind of hard to keep track, but the Chargers added another TD on a Matthews run to give them a 17-14 lead after 3. The Chiefs got the ball back but Hargrove threw another pick (his 3rd of 4, all in the 2nd half, we'll get to the 4th in a bit) giving the Chargers the chance to run out the clock. They managed one first down, however were forced to punt when Santana Moss dropped a key 3rd down pass (this is going to become a theme as well). The punt could not have gone much worse, as the Chiefs took it to the house to give them a 21-17 lead with 1:44 left. The ensuing Chargers possession ended in Rivers' 4th pick, and then things got really wild...

With the game on the line, the Chargers stuffed Charles on the first down run and used their first time out. The Chiefs elected to come out and pass on 2nd down in what proved to be a fatal mistake as a nearly invisible Nathan Vasher (I didn't even see him there) picked off a pass over the middle. The Chargers then had about a minute to get a touchdown and used pretty much the whole thing, including a clutch 4th and 10 conversion by Santana Moss (atoning for his earlier drop) and an absolutely insane catch by Jackson over double coverage to get them to the 1 with about 20 seconds left. Moss then had ANOTHER drop, this time for the go-ahead touchdown, going back in the doghouse again but he atoned moments later with the go-ahead score.

The Chargers squibbed it with 11 seconds left (probably not a great decision since he only needed a FG, but I was skittish from the PR) and a great pass to Charles managed to get them into FG range, but the attempt was no good (clearly kicking lag) and gave the Chargers the nailbiter win.

gg Sprice! This one was one heart attack after another, there are way too many highlights to even know which ones to upload, or I'd upload them all. Sucks it had to end on a lagged kick, I'm sure OT would have been epic too.

Chargers finish up the season at 9-7, which I suppose is respectable given the early hole they were in. Most importantly we managed to avoid going 0-6 in the Division of Doom by grabbing this win. This will be a second consecutive 9 win season (last year 9-6-1) for the Chargers which will be good enough for 4th in the AFC West. Realignment anyone? :D
 
Texans 27
Ravens 14

Nobody on the Ravens showed up to play today other than Anquan Boldin. Seems like my team decided to take week 17 off to get ready for the playoffs. Dropped INTs, missed tackles, and no blocking on the O-Line was the story of the game for us. GG played by the Texans(except for that scam route that cant be covered :cool:).

Guess i should start playing Madden again outside of the league cuz the last few losses have felt like i should've been more competetive and i was missing something. Hopefully, these Ravens get some inspiration from somewhere and show up in the post season.

All you gotta do is press the receiver or run zone and that play is done. If you're in man and you don't press, its the perfect route. It's a flat/out as opposed to a regular 5 and out, beautiful play. (I only ran it twice in the game tho, @ critical times for sure).

I'm not calling you out at all. When I sent you a x box MSG. I missed you by an hour. I was thinking you might sign back on that is why I messaged you there and if you didn't respond cage pm it would be.
 
Gg Kay. What a way to end the season...! Clausen got his first ever perfect QB rating on 15-19 passing for 361 yards and 4 TDs. Beason with 3 picks and McCoy with 3 sacks to currently lead the league in both categories. I scored 45 points in the first half which I'm pretty sure is the most I've ever done. I had to shrug off the beat-down mog gave me in the other league to play this one, but I'm glad I did cause it definitely relieved a lot of frustration.

This game was a clash of the titans - Sanjay Nash vs. Munchie Cosh. Nash had by far the best game of his short career with 5 catches for 159 yards and 3 TDs while Cosh still had a respectable game with 6 catches for 66 yards and a TD. I was able to limit his production (relative to what he's been doing all season) by shadowing him with Beason for most of the game...which is how I got my 3 picks (all passes intended for Cosh).

Wow, GG Cowboys. Another game where my special teams and defense almost let me down. Why can't my guys recover an onside kick? Final score 24-17 my def got a stop with the Cowboys driving after recovering the onside kick.
 
I asked yesterday what was going on with the Cardinals, but uber probably didn't see my post. I just did a search in the thread and Seattle (same record as me) and San Fran both played the CPU Cardinals, so I'm guessing I should do the same. I'll wait for confirmation one way or another, of course.

I may be wrong, but I don't think the thread title with the advancement time has changed in several days and thus it may represent the deadline for the last in-game week.
 
I'm tryin to get in touch with tanabeo and he is online and I been messaging him for some time and he won't respond and I have class at 5:30 to 6:45 tonite and tha league advances at 7:30 and I can't afford a sim lost...wat should I do?

I really don't think we're advancing tonight, and as of a few hours ago, about half the game hadn't been played.
