My playoff hopes are razor-thin at this point. Catching Sprice or Doom isn't likely, so I'd need to pass one of the teams from each the North and South and also beat out the Broncos. Pretty tall order in this league.

Jets just sneaked out a W in Washington. Close game throughout. I went up by a TD middle of the 4th quarter. Kay drove right back on me though and with under 2 minutes remaining he was just about in the red zone. McNabb got pressured though and he forced a throw and threw a pick six to Pool. That all but sealed the deal for New York. Baldwin also had a pick on the Redskin's final drive, ending any possible miracle comebacks at that point. GG.

Red Worm and I are having trouble connecting in the Franchise.. No matter which of us sends the invite the other gets a message that we "can't get info from opponent"... Anyone know how to solve that?

Also, just realized I lost Quentin Jammer for the year in that simmed game, as if my secondary wasn't injured enough. fuck you very much, Madden.
 
Looks like when the people upstairs reconfigured the router my port forwarding got reset. I opened them up again, let's see if that does it..

Vikings Fell to the Seahawks in overtime. It was an exciting game, Minesotta was down 21 to 10 at Halftime and would storm back to take the lead late in the 4th Quarter after Cedric Griffin set up the offense with an Interception return to the Seattle 17 Yardline and Visinthe Shaincoe caught a 17 Yard Slant from Orton. Seattle would come back and score in the final seconds on a nice play by Leon Washington. Minesotta's offense would not see the field in overtime as Seattle won the coin toss and went up the field. Deion Branch had a spectacular catch that set up a 19 Yard TD to Deon Butler to seal the win for Seattle. GG Sir Felgar.

Final Score: Seattle 44, Minesotta 38

Having had two great games with Doom DC in the last minute, I'll have to disagree that this is lamer. :D

Pats-Chargers pushed to tomorrow night (hopefully) though I'm not optimistic we'll be able to connect at all.. Hopefully someone in here knows a solution..

I was just looking at the Bengals/Cardinals game...can someone explain to me how it's possible to return a fumble 107 yards for a TD? That would suggest that the Cardinals fumbled it well into the opposing team's end zone...which would mean that the Cardinals would had to have gotten the ball IN the opposing team's end zone which would automatically be a touchdown as long as there was possession for even a split second. I don't know if I'm missing some loophole...just curious.

FG returned for a TD. Not sure why the stats track it as a fumble, but I was confused as well when I returned a FG out of the endzone and it didn't show up. Then I found it on my D. It's weird.

In a Game I felt absolutely horrible about after the 1st quarter.... The Bengals win. Darth had a horrible night....just couldn't get his offense and defense to play as a cohesive unit....There was 1 point in the 4th quarter where his offensive line had 3 straight holding penalties.(Declined all 3) Just one of those games where Madden had his way with things it seems.

I'm knocking on wood, but based on the fact that we had absolutely no luck even getting to the team screen last night, I'm not optimistic we're going to be able to play it.

If we can't, I would prefer that we do an unranked game and then the winner of that plays the CPU in-league, I really don't want a second consecutive sim. Redworm pointed out that his Patriots bear little resemblance to the current rosters, but that's probably even more true of the Chargers. It's not an ideal solution, but in my mind it's better than a sim.

Here's hoping we connect no problem tonight..

This game is fucking ridiculous. Red Worm and I can't connect, either in the league or in unranked.

I am 95% sure this is not on my end, since I've never seen this problem before and he had the same thing happen last week. Looks like a second consecutive sim for me, honestly I might as well just quit the league at this point since EA seems bound and determined to never let me play another game.
