To the fantasy comments, I have a dilemma of sorts. I'm sure there are a lot of owners that would love to be in my position, but I have to choose between Philip Rivers and Michael Vick this week in the Final Four.

My opponent has Jon Kitna and if he throws up a stinker, that may change my decision.

Ideas?

I won't say who I have starting right now.

depends on who the Chargers and Eagles are playing...
 
I got Vick and Brady as options for Fantasy Football Championship. I think I will roll with Vick again. Buffalo has been playing decent recently. Minnesota dbs are terrible and Philly are at home.
 
Currently working on setting up my xbox in the hotel I'm staying at. Should work, currently getting help with the stupid TV that won't let me switch the input.

Broncos/colts really shouldn't be the game holding us up. If redygo could play tonight no reason they couldn't. Please get it done asap.
 
GG FrankandBake. LAG was terrible, I don't know if there was anything I could have done about it. I had to get on xbox live through my laptop in order to get on xbox live. Besides the lag it was a great game. Just couldn't get it done on defense or offense in the 4th Q.

A 2nd half collarbone injury to the Bucs star Rookie WR Aaron Scott might have deflated the Buccaneers team.

Thanks for the patience and playing through the lag, good luck in the remainder of your matches for the playoffs.

Bucs will join the rest of the league in the drawing room. Need to increase our speed on defense and upgrade our offensive line.

I dunno, I thought it was pretty clear that I expected you to play your game either last night or tonight. Shouldn't be that hard. I know augmog was in here, so I can't fault him too much but it's not exactly like he's been sitting in this thread all day either. I want it done during the day or early evening tomorrow so we can get most if not all of the games of the next round done tomorrow night.
 
What bothers me more is when people who are knowingly holding up the league with their games don't even care to hop on here for 30 seconds and give some kind of update as to what's going on with the scheduling. Something like "I PM'ed my opponent earlier today but he hasn't responded at all" or "he has to work all night so we won't be able to play until tomorrow"...any kind of update at all would work. It seems like these two had been exchanging PM's earlier in the day so they should be filling us in on what they've been discussing. When some people hold up the league, it's obvious they've been making their best effort to get their game in...but in cases like this, it's hard to get that impression.

Having said that, gregthomas can be considered a veteran of this league and a respected one at that, so I'm not holding anything against him since this is just one week...just saying I hate when this kind of thing happens (and it seems to happen almost every week). If you guys have to hold the league up with your game that's fine...but just please communicate on here so you're not keeping the other 30 members in the dark.
 
I was trying to play my game all day today we started playing around 2 but then he lost connection and he pm me saying that the network for his whole block went out...so im trying to play this game he never gave me a time to be online for tomorrow.
 
I agree, MA. If this wasn't such an important game I would have simmed it hours ago. And I understand that gregthomas has been reliable in the past and augmog has updated us a couple times today, but yeah, like MA said, if you ever find yourself in this situation where you're one of the last games to be played just UPDATED US. Let us know what's going on. Half the time we're waiting on a game, we don't even know if it will ever be played or if the two teams have even talked.

I might need to create some sort of weekly check in system to keep track of these things. In the regular season, temp booting and sims seemed to be a pretty okay solution, but maybe we need to do something extra.

As far as my game for the next round whoever I play, which I believe is BigAt, I can't play until tommorow night around 6:15 est I believe if anything changes ill let you know.

I always thought there was a 3 strike rule or something like that.
 
Just popping in and saying hi guys...I want to be first in line for a team when your playoffs end...well, as close to first in line as I can be anyway. I see 2 openings in the original post, I'd take whatever I can get. Loving the competition in Madden league 2.0. Good luck in the playoffs everyone.
 
And I only say that because my GFs family is coming into town tonight and its going to be very difficult for me to get any "me time" until after Christmas. Thats why its important that we play today. If we can't I will try my best to get an hour here or there, but I can't promise anything.

Is her side of the family full filpino? Based on my experience from my mother's side, you're right they won't leave you alone at all. :D (And you may gain 10 lbs.)

For the nominees, I just need to hook up the xbox and look at the defensive TDs, for some reason I was unable to get those stats from the site. Also uber, big thanks for finding that site, made putting all those stats together so much easier.

thanks. sorry greg, but when the deadline was set to yesterday and you didn't pop in the thread, what am I supposed to do? i'm glad it's getting underway, but you have to see it from my perspective.

by the way, I can play after we advance. whether it's Doom or augmog.
 
i'm playing the CAG2 league game now with silent. so I assume I'll end after this Colts/Broncos match up by a little bit, but I will advance as soon as I'm done and like I said I'll be ready to play whoever faces me.
 
Whoever I play after we advance (I think the Bears...but you never know with Madden): I'm going to be busy until 6:00 p.m. EST and have already scheduled my game in the other league for 6:30, so I won't be able to play until around 7:30 p.m. EST. This game is a lot more important though so I can reschedule the other one if necessary, but optimally any time after 7:30 p.m. EST would be okay with me. I can stay up as late as possible to get the game in.

Can someone relay this message to the Bears or Giants (whoever I play) if they ask and don't see my message? Thanks friends.
 
I also added everyone who had pending requests to the Xtreme Football Net site. Sorry for the hold up. I didn't realize I had 5-6 requests sitting in there until now.
