Madden 11 League-OFFICIAL CAG LEAGUE-That's all folks! Mini-tourney still coming tho!
Whoever I play after we advance (I think the Bears...but you never know with Madden): I'm going to be busy until 6:00 p.m. EST and have already scheduled my game in the other league for 6:30, so I won't be able to play until around 7:30 p.m. EST. This game is a lot more important though so I can reschedule the other one if necessary, but optimally any time after 7:30 p.m. EST would be okay with me. I can stay up as late as possible to get the game in.

Can someone relay this message to the Bears or Giants (whoever I play) if they ask and don't see my message? Thanks friends.
I am working tonight till 12est tonight and then tomorrow from 7est till 3:30 est. So the soonest I can play is 4est tomorrow. Sorry guys.
Raiders @ Steelers going down now
PLAY SOME DEFENSE!!! yall scored every two minutes it seems like

GG Doom, you played great. I picked a really bad time to play my worst game of the season. Mike Wallace had a bad drop at the end of the first half and had huge fumble when I was driving down 7. The play after Ike Taylor (Who was shadowing Fitz) got hurt for the game, Fitz scored a TD.

I'm not gonna win any games when I give up a TD & KR for TDs

Good luck doom
PLAY SOME DEFENSE!!! yall scored every two minutes it seems like
Yeah that 4th quarter was insane. I tried to play D, but as you are now aware, the Raiders D is non-existant. Although I did have two picks (1 for 6) and a strip of Mike Wallace.

Raiders defeat Steelers 45-31

GG Zurezo.

Tomorrow I have a party to attend at 6:30 EST so sometime between 4 and 6 would work...I'm planning on doing some last-second Christmas shopping tomorrow afternoon, so I'd like as much time as possible to get that in...let's schedule it for 5:00 p.m. EST?? I'll send a PM too.
hey Doom... how are those awards lookin? I got a feelin a Raven earned one of them :)
Will be posted in 10 minutes, just a few errors I'm working on. And yes, you are nominated in multiple categories.

The following are the nominees for each respective category. The MVP will be chosen among these players.

Note: This isn't all of the awards, just the ones that have nominees for each category.

I tried my best to put the most deserving players in each respective category. Obviously, I would like to have everyone be included, but the statistics don't lie and there had to be a cutoff somewhere. Congrats to all the nominees and everyone else on another great season!

after seeing the DROY candidates' stats... i'm almost ready to concede that race lol. JD Nealy had his best game in the playoffs and those stats didnt count. Leading all rookies in INTs is great but i probably should've gotten him to the ball more often for more tackles and FFs. it was so hard tho...seemed like teams were afraid of him

He can have RBOY, but MVP goes to Big Ben. Nobody is even close to him in some key stats.

QB Rating: 19.2 Points better than any full time starter (Jason Campbell)

INTs: Of the 11 QBs that threw 40+ TDs Big Ben is the only one that threw under 16 picks (Big Ben had 7)

Comp %: Only QB in the league (Other than Brice Gradkowski, who only threw the ball 23 times) to have a 70%+ completion percentage.

And did all of that while missing 3.5 games due to an injury and 1 game so he didn't get hurt and another game was simmed

Woot woot, Chris Robinson makes the final OROY. If it wasn't for the way too many picks I'd be happy with his rookie season...oh, heck, it wasn't half bad anyways. Last year my stats were split up between 3 mediocre-to-terrible QBs, so I'm very glad to have Mr. Robinson for many years to come. Hope he goes up lots o' points in the offseason.

iono how the MVP is picked but if it were me, all those stats just gives Ben QBOY cuz the MVP to me is the one player on the team that if removed, said team doesnt win... Ur Steelers won without Ben... beating some of the tougher teams in the league...

case for Ray Rice: in the 12 games we won, only 4 of those games did Ray not eclipse 100 yds(and one of those he was 1 yard short... which i probably lost trying to run the clock out lol) and only twice in 12 wins did he not score a TD. In the 4 losses (playoff game not included), he put up 37, 83, 25 and 24 yards, and 1 TD in those 4 games... to get more in depth, in 12 wins, he averaged 15 car for about 132 yds and 1.6 TDs(180 total carries for about 1600 yds, which is almost all of his season total, and 19 TDs). Without Rumblin' Ray Rice, the Ravens dont win 12 games...

I'm happy with the numbers I got with Boutte, since I'm still working at getting better at the running game myself. He also had some decent receiving numbers, as fast as he is I tried putting the ball in his hands a lot because he could do some good out there on the field.

playing catch up will do that... also, the Patriots run D is solid so i had to start out looking for your weaknesses in the secondary. My defense was my downfall in that game tho.

For all who have beaten the Ravens: i remember those games and i remember exactly what happened... so look out Patriots, Falcons, Steelers (x3), Jets, Chargers, Raiders, Panthers, and Texans(x2)... JD Nealy will be visiting all of you sooner or later and he's bringing a can of whupass to share :D

[Doom might get off easy since Nealy already gave the Raiders a taste]

And how is he not in the running for quarterback of the year? Seriously? fuck QB ratings.

17 to 14?

Sam Bradford STL QB 355 of 596 60 % 6039 YDS 377.4 YPG 49 TD 34 INT 97.6 Rating

6 thousand yards.

RAMS were 3rd in total yardage with 6319 yards. Bradford accounts for 6039 yards of that, or 95.5 percent of his teams offense.

95.5 percent of the offense on the 3rd ranked offense in the league.

The Rams top receiver had 63 catches (Brooks Foster) and the Rams had four receivers with over 50 catches (ball distribution).

when you've got no running back, someone has to move the ball... I think the 34 picks take him out of the running... that and the record. it's easy to be the man on a team that's not winning since you're plug for nothing but stats... if you can put up those numbers (sans about 15-20 ints) and at least sniff the playoffs, I'm sure Sammy would be near the top of the list

The Rams played to win every game, and never played for stats. Our defense was bad enough that often times it took att of those yards to keep a game close. To say that what Sam did is less because the team is bad overall is a contradiction, especially when you point out we had NO running game.

My point is this: I can see how Sam wouldn't win MVP, but to not be on the ballot for QB of the year? C'mon man.

so he likes to share? most people think that is a good quality.

6000 yards!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can use exclamation points too. :)

And, I would like to point out, 6000 yards in a season would be an nfl record by almost 1000 yards (Marino 5084 in 1984), 34 interceptions isn't even close to a record (42 by Blanda in 1962). Of course this is Madden and the actual numbers don't mean anything, but who cares damn it.

do it then. seriously, if someone ran for 3000 yards and their team only threw the ball a small amount, would you say the runnings backs performance wasn't as good because his team didn't throw enough?

And, you guys are taking this way too seriously. I have to campaign for Bradford, my coaching time has a lot of time off now that the playoffs have started.

Thanks for including those Sophomore of the Year categories so I at least have a CHANCE to win something this year! That looked like it took a lot of time, thanks Doom.

About my game with the Bears: he hasn't messaged me back confirming 5:00 p.m. EST (which is what I PM'ed him suggesting), but that's what I'm gonna assume is our game-time since he said he could play any time after 4 p.m. EST. I'm about to go out and do my Christmas shopping so I won't be available until 5 when I get back. I have internet on my phone and can read the forums but I can't post, so if the Bears or anyone needs to get a message through to me, I'll probably check every hour or two so post it on this page (no PMs).
