He actually just texted and asked that I sub because he figures to be at the hospital for the next few days. If you'd prefer to have someone with a record closer to his sub, that's fine by me and him I'm sure.

I have sent PMs trying to set up my game against the Redskins and the Dallas/New York game as well.
 
The Patriots just ran a trick play I used to run all the time in Madden last year: The fake PA end-around and then throwing it to the guy you faked it to peeling out of the backfield (Brady missed Welker on it). They changed that play this year in Madden so the guy faking the end-around is no longer a receiving option on that play, I'm totally sending EA a clip of that play. I miss it. :D

You don't need to be booted, just leave and re-join on your own. Ubernes needs to boot the Cowboys, which hopefully he can do this evening.

As a team with a record that is shit, I just want to let others know there is light at the end of the tunnel. There are some tough players here, but mostly everyone is beatable. When I don't make mental errors that are entirely on me I can usually stay in most games.

I wouldn't get discouraged because of a low record. A good draft and familiarity with opponents should help reshape plenty of teams in the league at least somewhat next year.

That's a phenomenal attitude. We have plenty of players in this league who are competitive now who used to get stomped routinely.

Example: me. Although I'm not a stud or anything I slightly improve each year. Last year I think I went like: (1) 7-9, (2) 5-11, and (3) 9-7 and I made the playoffs that last year. All you have to do is come up with a playstyle that works for you and then limit your turnovers, and you have a chance to beat almost anybody.

The Giants beat the Cowboys 28-0 as avenge the earlier-season loss. I subbed in for Dallas and didn't do too well. I played too conservatively on offense and gave up a few costly big plays on defense.
 
Giants wrap up the #1 seed in the NFC with a win over the Cowboys this morning. Big thanks to Pacer for subbing in.

Cowboys-Giants is done.

I sent PMs to Redskins, but got nothing and found a message on Xbox Live from him. It was a voice message and I couldn't hear anything. I messaged him back and told him that the best way to reach me is a CAG PM, which has been the case for the last two years. There are times I don't turn on the 360 for a few days if I don't have a Madden game scheduled.

Ravens-Bengals playing tonight or tomorrow night(6:30pmEST). Waiting for MA to respond which day he wants.
 
Yeah it's gonna have to be tomorrow night at 6:30 EST unfortunately...I gotta go to some dumb training thing at 7 tonight for a volunteer thing I'm doing.
 
I messaged Sprice last night on XBL but he ended up being away for a long time. Just saw that he PM'ed me on here. I suggested playing tonight around 6-7 P.M. Eastern.

4 days to advance guys? really? I was able to play my game, and a sub game within 3 hours after we advanced.

Thanksgiving is RIGHT around the corner, and I know some of us would like to have the playoffs AND the draft over BEFORE it gets here.

Sprice and I have readied up 4 separate times to start our game, and all 4 times we have each had our consoles freeze. Any idea what may be causing this? I have had maybe 1 game drop all season, if any. This one won't even get started.

EDIT: Sprice suggested we try an unranked game. That one got to the coin toss before ending and stating, "A desync has occurred". Tried another go at the franchise game and couldn't even get past the loading screens.

EDIT 2: I am in the fall dashboard preview. Not sure if Sprice is or not. I hope that's not what is causing the problem. It wasn't an issue in my previous games.

Just to let everyone know, Hillis, McCoy, and my lower rated RBs will be up for trade during the offseason. Cribbs may be available too. I need QBs, LOLB, FS, RT, and WR. PM me if you want to work out a deal.
 
Also, anyone here got tips for a playbook that may suit my style better (if we've played)? I know I got some things to work on, but regardless I don't think I can win with the Browns without some major personnel and strategy changes.

Before you trade too many pieces, there are decent players in the draft at all of those positions.

You nearly beat me, so I'm probably not the best person to make suggestions but I actually think you would be better off running more. Also, you've got two catching TEs so maybe more twin TE sets. NE has tons of two TE sets but idk if McCoy can make all of those throws. If you wanna play a scrim sometime let me know, we played awhile back so I can't remember how it really went.

Most of the TE routes in the New England playbook aren't especially difficult, though they do need good timing.
