I can still play...hopefully the issues with my second connection were an anomaly. I've had great success using it before last night. Both of my connections have a moderate NAT and I can't open it on either one (long story).

We can try again tonight around midnight, I should be home and set-up by then.
Looks like another late one for me! Haha I'll be on at midnight. Sounds good. I assume we'll be the last one.

Did this quickly before I head to class.

End of Season Report: Kansas City Chiefs

Record: 16-0 (AFC West Champs, #1 seed), 6-0 division record, 12-0 conference.

Offense:
39.4 ppg (1st)
356 ypg (2nd)
121.1 passing ypg (28th)
234.9 rushing ypg (1st)

+41 in Turnovers (1st)

Passing:
Matt Cassel 89/139 1420 yds 64 % 4 TD 8 INT 83.6 Rating
Ricky Stanzi 25/46 673 yds 54.4 % 9 TD 2 INT 120.9 Rating

Passing isn't my strength, as we can see here. Most of the picks Cassel threw were forced throws that shouldn't have been thrown in the first place. As a game manager though, he does an excellent job.

Ricky Stanzi came out of nowhere in the final two games. I shutdown the Charles train and went pass first with Stanzi. He really surprised me and I learned some new things with the passing game during the final two games of the season.

Cassel may be on the block depending on how he progresses.

Rushing:
Jamaal Charles - 311 carries, 3138 yards (10.1 ypc) 41 TDs (14 games)
Thomas Jones 56 carries, 411 yards (7.4 ypc) 6 TDs

Jamaal Charles terrorized defenses all season long. Hoping this success carries over into the postseason.

Receiving:
Tony Moeaki - 33 catches, 581 yds, 1 TD
Miles Austin - 12 catches, 425 yds, 6 TD
Johnathan Baldwin - 27 catches, 331 yds, 1 TD
Leonard Pope - 15 catches, 277 yds, 2 TD
Dwayne Bowe - 9 catches, 270 yds, 3 TD
Jamaal Charles- 14 catches, 153 yds

Mostly running TE sets, it's not surprising to see Moeaki at the top. Still learning how to pass effectively with this line. Seems like I have less than a second to throw even against a 4 man rush.

Defense:
12.8 ppg (3rd)
256.8 ypg (10th)
190.8 ypg (18th)
66 ypg (1st)

This defense gives up plays through the air, but they make big plays when backed against the wall. The Chiefs led the league with 49 INTs and were second in forced fumbles with a total of 18. They have the toughest run defense in the league led by Derrick Johnson and Jovan Belcher.

End of Season Report: Atlanta Valcons

Record: 8-8 4-2 division record, 6-6 conference.

Offense:
21.1 ppg (13th)
248.4 ypg (20th)
126.3 passing ypg (26th)
122.1 rushing ypg (11th)

I don't know about turnover differential, but I'm around +10

Passing:
Matt Ryan 12/255 2039yds 48.2% 8ypa 13TD 13INT 70 rating

I'm obviously not on the same level as most of the league, passing wise. It's not so much that I forced throws, but more that I could never really find anyone open. I don't know if it's my play calling or my vision, but if I can figure out passing, I feel like I could be fighting for a play off spot. A lot of times (especially near the end of the season) I would get down early and then I'd start throwing way more than I should, this was another big mistake in my passing game.

Rushing:
Michael Turner 305att 1904yds 6.2ypc 80long 28TD
Jason Snelling 20att 86yds 4.3ypc 16long 3TD

Rushing, the one bright spot of my offense. Michael Turner was great for me all season, but near the end I stopped using him as much as I should have. Unfortunately he is around 30 years old, and he is already kind of slow to begin with, so I may have to start looking for a future running back next season.

Receiving:
Roddy White 31rec 711yds 2TD
Julio Jones 35rec 679yds 6TD
Harry Douglas 14rec 217yds 2TD
Michael Turner 18rec 166yds 0TD
Tony Gonzalez 9rec 151yds 1TD
Reggie Kelly 7rec 119yds 2TD

Julio Jones is only reason my passing offense gained any yards. Midway through the season he became my number one target and I never looked back. I'm expecting some huge things from him in the next few seasons, the kid has talent.

Defense:
18.9 ppg (9th)
276.9 ypg (13th)
190 ypg (18th)
86.9 ypg (9th)

Defense was surprisingly good this year. Last year I hated being on defense and couldn't stop anyone, this year I enjoyed playing defense and actually held my own in most games. Although no single DB on my team had a bunch of interceptions, I actually got a bunch (24) especially early in the season. One major factor in my defense quasi-success was Ray Edwards, that guy is an animal and should definitely receive some consideration in some of the defense awards.
Ray Edwards 35tackles 24.0sacks 3FF 3int

Well that's it. Looking forward to next season, although I'm missing my first draft pick so that's a huge bummer. I think I may have a chance at a wildcard next year if I just limit my turnovers, and strengthen both my offensive and defensive passing games. Unfortunately I'm in a hellacious conference, so my chances of actually doing well are slim.

*If you noticed, the stats for my players don't match the stats on the XFN or madden site. This is because in a game where between the Eagles and I, it didn't count the stats. I remembered some, but I guessed on most of them, so if all the differences in the stats are due to that game.

Damn!! Steelers over Ravens 35-28...hard to win a game when you throw 3 pick-sixes!!!!! My D is solid...I just need to play smart and minimize my turnovers. It was a fun game though, no "BS" complaints here....although there was one frustrating play toward the end of the game when Lynch was wide open but then he decided to run up the field TOWARDS the defenders and so when I threw it to him...I ended up throwing it straight into the hands of a Steeler (for a pick six). It was 21-21 with 2 min left in the 4th at that point and I was driving up the field...so that play was the epitome of a game-changer. My back-up TE Pitta (Pettigrew was injured in my last game) had a damn nice game with 11 receptions for 130 yards or something. My run game suffered somewhat though with him in to block...but damn he is a good receiving TE. Pettigrew woulda dropped 7 of those passes easy.

What's up with only 24/32 players currently in the franchise?

A few guys got booted for sim games and have yet to rejoin.

Well MA, you had a great season, especially down the stretch. Was hoping I would have gotten to play you.

End of Season Report: Seattle Seahawks

Record: 10-6 overall, 4-2 division record, 8-4 conference.

Offense:
26.8 ppg (6th)
299 ypg (9th)
124 passing ypg (27th)
175 rushing ypg (2nd)

Passing:
Josh Freeman - 94/169 1649yds 55.6% 9.8ypa 15TD 12INT 89.1 rating
Tavaris Jackson - 29/64 507yds 45.3% 77.9ypa 6TD 3INT 84.6 rating

I ended up being able to acquire Josh Freeman as a replacement for Tavaris Jackson and although there isn't a huge difference in numbers there is a difference. Jackson wasn't able to make the throws I needed him to make but he will be a serviceable backup if needed. I'm excited for everything that Freeman offers and hopefully he will progress well.

Rushing:
Ray Rice - 224att 1680yds 7.5ypc 73long 14TD
Leon Washington - 49att 411yds 8.4ypc 78long 7TD

Bread and butta. Rushing has always came naturally to me and after acquiring Rice my game really took off. I rushed for around 175yds a game giving me the crown of second best, lol. Washington at one point was maintain an 11ypc average but the last few games I think his age caught up with him. Rice is going to be a beast so I'm really excited to have him on my team.

Receiving:
Sydney Rice - 36rec 758yds 11TD
Zach Miller - 37rec 507yds 3TD
Deion Butler - 11rec 231yds 2TD
Golden Tate - 9rec 182yds 1TD
Ray Rice - 11rec 92yds 1TD
Ben Obomanu - 7rec 176yds 1TD

I run on offense mainly based on short routes so a lack of big numbers here doesn't really surprise me. On top of that my 3rd best WR was a 70OVR. Not working with a ton of talent here, but having Rice and Miller to rely on worked for the most part. Look for a lot more passing next year, I've been working on what I feel is a pretty strong scheme.

Defense:
PTS - 18.9 ppg (9th)
YDS - 284.1 ypg (15th)
PASSING YDS - 188.8 ypg (17th)
RUSH YDS - 95.4ypg (15th)

The first half of my season was spent trying to figure out what to do with my abysmal secondary. After Trufant every other CB on my roster was 70 OVR or lower. I traded Earl Thomas (no regrets) so that dealt another blow to my secondary.

Once I figured out a scheme I was fairly happy with the results. I spent the first part of the season in the 20-25 range in passing and rushing yards allowed, but was able to creep up to the middle of the pack. Hopefully something falls my way in the draft so that I can make some improvements to my defense.

It was definitely a fun year and also the first of many more seasons in this league. Taking over an 0-2 team and making the playoffs was a huge accomplishment for me. I have no complaints and look forward to next year. Also, wanted to say thanks to everyone who helps run this league, you guys do a great year of keeping things moving and keeping things fair.

Panthers 30
49ers 3

The Panthers gave one of their best defensive efforts of the season, forcing the 49ers into 4 turnovers (3 INTs and a fumble) and held the 49ers to a lone FG. Cam Newton rebounded from a horrid week 17 performance to throw 2 TDs and 0 INTs. Carolina looks to take the winning attitude to the Meadowlands to face the conference leading Giants in the divisional round. GG Cru :applause:
BV shoot me an email when you can play. I'm going to dinner tonight, so let me know
Alright. It'll depend what time we're going to advance tonight. I'll be around all day tomorrow too.
Does progression happen before or after the draft?
Assuming it's the same as last year, before.
Does progression happen before or after the draft?
Before, it happens when we advance past the Super Bowl.
Before, it happens when we advance past the Super Bowl.
Something I won't be a part of! Thanks for the info guys. Time to plan the draft. Got some holes to fill....twss
Augmog we Gona play tonight??
Jets-Texans still needs to be played.

I'll be on XBL playing Skyrim, can someone let me know once that game finishes and I'll advance us?

Honestly? fuck Madden... I threw it away [edit: I mean literally, 4 INTs. Not to take away from Ramesu though. Some were bad throws but he still had to be there and still had to play offense to capitalize on them, which he obviously did] so it's on me but this game was stacked against me from the start. I wasn't winning round 2 without Revis anyways so might as well get the higher pick but not happy.

Gg though. I shouldve kept throwing it to Keller. That side of the field was wide open and all 4 of my picks came on the left side of the field. I didn't want to keep running the same play over and over but shit, it seemed to be working.

Oh well, there's always next year. No idea on what to look for in the draft. Looks like I'm stuck with most of these guys for the long haul. Maybe some LBs or safeties. Or a Sproles type RB to open things up for Sanchez and replace LT.

You could always trade all your best players. ;)

Team Name: Cardinals
Player Added: Ed Johnson (DT)
Player Dropped: 60 OVR (TE) ... Sorry, can't see a transaction history on the Madden site, doubt it was anyone who will matter though.

Also for all of us who are not in the playoffs, is this the time to post offseason trades?

And do those trades count against our trade limit for next year or last year?

I assume we wrap divisional Fri, conference Sat, Superbowl Sunday... Draft Tursday night? I would love to draft Saturday but that doesn't seem likey. Does Tuesday at 8 or 9pm est work?
