Sorry uber, I never like to win a game off of fumbles. Yeah you drove down the field pretty well throughout most of the game...Kilgo tore me up too, especially in the 2nd half. I was excited to see that your team was ranked 28th or something against the run, so I came out running more than I normally do...but that didn't work out so well :/ Man your o-line seemed to be getting abused the entire game, mostly by Julius Peppers...he had 2 sacks but I counted at least 3 or 4 more hits on the QB as you released the ball. I'm glad Sanchez is okay lol, your back-up QB seemed decent for the most part but there were a couple terrible throws in the mix...! I'm a lot more glad that Jimmy Smith is okay, he had 2 picks before he bruised his darn sternum in the 2nd quarter. I assigned him to Santonio in the beginning, but I definitely coulda used him matched up against freaking Kilgo in the 2nd half!
I'm glad I could stop the wildcat for the most part this time around...I actually put Ray Lewis at OLB and usered Quan Sturdivant for the first time this franchise cause I figured I'd need Lewis and his 99 play recognition purely against the wildcat. I feel like no one on my team could recognize that you were running wildcat despite the obvious formation (in game 1)...this time I think I stopped you in the backfield every time except for a couple pretty big runs.
I seem to have o-line issues in both leagues. I don't think I hold onto the ball too long and typically I can recognize the blitz pretty quickly and find a wide open check down receiver but I seemed to be getting hit before I could get it out every other play.
By the time the 2nd half rolled around and I was down by 24 or 34, whatever it was, I was just like to run out the shotgun, which wasn't too bad. Kilgo got open on a couple plays and then I just started force feeding him. I figured I could at least pad some stats!
Yeah, I saw the holes in the wildcat but I just couldn't get to them or around the pile besides on a run or 2. I added a new wrinkle with Kilgo as my guy versus Kerley, but even with his speed he couldn't break free.
