Marvel Ultimate Alliance - Gen. Discussion

I have a stupid question. I got the character pack off xbox live,but when I play the game, and get to where you change out characters there not there. Do you have to wait till later in the game or am I doing something wrong?
 
They should be there. Are you sure you got the correct item? There are "character packs" for gamer pictures and stuff.

Yep. It was the character pack. It says so where I checked it,but for some reason I don't see them within the game

I restarted the game. I'll try the other you mentioned. I figured it out. I had to get online back on xbox live, and it said something about a update so I did that, and now they show up...
 
Damn, just the other day I had almost completed the game. When I go and try and play it the next day the save file had been corrupted some how and now have to start over... :cry:

I'll be prepared to play tomorrow. Do I have to own a certain copy of the game? Because I have the gold edition, so I'm not sure if it's "compatible" with the non-gold version.
 
Just played for a while...going to be back in a few...send those FR's or game invites this way...

Edit: My inventory is full...which items should I sell and which should i keep? Thanks for the advice.
 
How far are you? Actually, does it matter how far someone is in the game to connect with other people? Because since I no longer have a file, I'm heading into Atlantis. For the umpteenth time. >_<

And sell the character-exclusive items for the characters you don't use. If you ain't usin' them, why would they need equipment, mirite?
 
I have been playing a little bit today. It is fun. I can't believe I ignored this game for so long. I am giving CoD4 a break. This will be my fix for awhile.
 
Finally got through that Atlantis bullshit. I won't be on for the next couple of days, thanks to work. ANyone free this tuesday?

I hated Atlantis.
 
I've had my files go bad on me every single playthrough, for some odd ass reason each time. This has to be my 5-6th playthrough of Atlantis.
 
When they fucked up the game with the crappy patch just before the extra characters DLC dropped, I was pissed. My save got fucked by it on a Friday, and by Saturday night I had started over and made it all the way to where I was (after your "home base" becomes the Norse-y place), unlocking Daredevil and Black Panther, and re-doing all of the comic book missions I had done previously.
 
That's some shit.

I've noticed that Hulk plays a hell of a lot like Juggernaut did in Legends 2, which is nice to know. Also, Iron Man is a pretty solid character, too. His radial is insane.

I was using Hulk for a while, but I switched back to using Wolverine as my tank. He's just overpowered like in the XML games. I feel like Hulk and The Thing are basically the same character.
 
I don't think there's any way they could tone down Wolverine. I did like Spidey more than I thought I was going to, though. Spidey-Sense is awesome.

no one knows the official answer, but since I also no longer see them available, then yes, the marvel gamerpics were taken off of the marketplace.

Atlantis blew. It was the worst level in the entire game. It simply made the game drag and slow to a crawl.
 
Been awhile since the last posting here, but I'm back to playing this game. If anyone needs the online stuff (I still do since I'm lazy), then message me/send me a friend invite. Also, anyone remember the best combination (items/characters) for the one asgard sim disc to get the most money?
 
I wouldn't mind playing Hiccuple. I'll probably be adding you soon. Though recently been doing campaign with my brother in law for Halo 3. Still I know he has the game so I'm pretty sure he might join in a game as well. Definitely would like the online achievements.

Use either team with your main character equipped with Norn Stones.

Marvel Royalty - Black Panther, Dr. Strange, Storm, Thor, Dr. Doom

or

Assassins - Blade, Deadpool, Elektra, Wolverine

Personally, I'd take Royalty as I feel it's a more solid team, and Dr. Strange has the ever impressive "Enemies-into-Box magic" which provides more money.

If anyone sees me on Live, invite me to a game.

Thanks, you helped me. it was definitely the first one with Dr. Strange having the norn stones and Thor that one 50% to all stats, plus another 50% to lightning moves.. That sets up for massive amounts of coins.

Nope, but he is currently a rumored character in number 2. Same goes for Gambit, Psyloche, She-Hulk (would be a fun addition), and Cable. Basically it seems like several more characters from Xmen Legends 2 will be ported over. I've also heard some rumors of a maybe an Iron Fist/Cloak and Dagger.
 
I've had my fill of X-men characters. Reminds me of MvC2 when they brought in all the past X-Men characters. Half the Marvel roster was filled with X-Men. I don't want to see that with UA2. I'd like to see more Annhilation characters. Nova, Drax, Quasar, Starlord.

They just prolly tryin to put in characters that they know people know already. I would like to see some new chars also or the same ones with different moves. I wish they would make a iron man char with the proton cannon as a super
