Due to a malfunction in our computer systems, some customers
were recently able to order the Complete Matrix Trilogy HD-DVD
gift set from our website for $19.99 rather than the correct
price of $79.99. In addition, some customers were able to order
the O.C.: The Complete Fourth Season 5-pc DVD for $9.99 rather
than the correct price of $39.99.

Because of this pricing error many customers chose to place
multiple orders for each of these items. We are allowing each
customer who placed an order at the erroneous price to purchase
one box set of each movie at the lower price, and we are
cancelling all multiple orders as permitted by our Terms of Use.

I got a shipping confirmation e-mail as well. I upgraded to 3-day, so I should have it by the end of the week. I'm excited, too; I haven't seen The Matrix in a few years now, and I've been looking foward to it in HD.

See, Amazon? This is how you handle these situations. This will no doubt make me channel a lot of my Best Buy business to CC--in a situation where they could have just as easily cancelled all the orders, they're owning up to their mistake. I'm impressed.
 
I wonder if your not an account member if the item will ship. I tried to find my info online and it couldn't I still got my order number so I'm sure I can always call them...
I havent been charged anything yet either....

I tried to place an order over and over and over and it kept saying my CC info was wrong. Its awesome that so many people got in on this though. Hopefully I can snag a used one fairly cheap from one of you guys.

Maybe these emails are being sent in the order that CC received the orders. What day and time did you guys order? I ordered about 3:30 AM monday and have not received the letter or shipping notification yet. Still hoping though!
 
I've not gotten anything yet either, nor has my card been charged for the full amount. I'm starting to get worried as well.

I find it really amusing how many eBay auctions were ended early by sellers when the news came out that CC was only going to honor 1 order of the set.

Did you try to use your CC card when ordering? I had the same issue and bit the bullet and used a Visa card and it finally went through. This was about 4 AM Monday CST.
 
did anyone that ordered on Monday morning right before they switched gotten either the apology email or a shipping conformation?

Because I ordered around 8:15 and it switched right after and I haven't received anything besides the initial conformation email.

EDIT: some of the slickdeals people are trying to get Best Buy to price match with their email conformation.
