I naturally should have assumed a listing that said NORTH AMERICAN tour would only have three U.S. cities on it!

:lol: I love that you took a simple joke so seriously. There's a few key points here:

A. You're complaining about the label of a section of a tour and that not having certain stops is a big enough reason why you don't need to buy the game. The fact that there's no stop in this tour, one that they didn't even need to do at all, in Canada is disrepectful to the entire country.

B. I haven't looked at a map in a while, so correct me if I'm mistaken, but the United States is a part of North America.

C. You clearly hate the glorious country of Mexico, because they're a part of North America, too. You can only bother to care about America and America's Hat? While we're at it, why can't Kojima and his crew stop in Cuba, too, to say hello to Castro personally? Stupid Kojima and his hatred of every where that's not America.

D. Canada sucks. USA! USA! USA! USA!

Personally I dont understand why Kojima doesnt personally hand sign each and every copy shipped to retail. l also dont understand why he doesnt put 65 dollars in each case. I mean WTF Kojima? We're all loyal fans and you want us to pay for your game and understand that you have a life of your own? fuck that. You owe us Kojima. I wont be happy until he hand delivers my copy to be honest.
 
There's one thing I'm puzzled about these reviews (From what I've gathered) and that's the fact that MGO was not reviewed as a part of the package. To me, this seems absurd considering The Orange Box was reviewed as a package, and not individually. I don't really get it.

I have never played MGS:pO. I'm just wondering if I should try to get and beat it before the 12th?

Not necessary IMO. I'm gonna go through and beat all the MG games before the 12th, but I'm gonna leave PO out.

I need Kojima to help me with some weeds I need pulled before I consider buying this game.

KB: I guess it's because Konami just doesn't have any servers up for reviewers to play on, so I don't know why they don't at least mention their experiences with the beta.

If you're just looking for something else Metal Gear to play before MGS4, sure. It's a fun game that plays a bit differently than most MGS games, since you collect soldiers to fill out your squads that you take into each mission.

Thats the main reason I havent played it is the weird soldier recruiting and assigning aspect.

Well it wasn't a "Classic" MGS game, but it was still good in it's own right. If you don't want to play it though some guy on youtube has posted the entire game.

Got a link? I watched a playthrough of MGS2 before playing MGS3, then I went back and beat MGS2.
 
If you're hoping of something new from the thing on MTV, not worth it. It was the courage is solid trailer. that's it.

Psh. New York and California tour more like it.:roll: Meh. It's nice for those nearby. He didn't even have to make any kind of tour or appearance, just be happy for those who can attend.

People that don't want it ruined won't be tempted, I think. I think what would really suck is if you accidentally ran across a spoiler when you weren't looking for it. Like one of the trailers showed

As cool as it was, I was pissed that something that looks like a key plot point being revealed.

That's what I was alluding to actually. People might check out some trailers or stuff about MGS4 and have half the game's story already shown to them, ruining some of the MGS experience.

I have never seen so much info about a game leaked before it's release, especially a game of this magnitude

After MGS2 I take Kojima's trailers with a grain of salt. For all we know that scene will never happen, and for the entire game we actually play as Otacon.

I've got a trailer on my computer for Snake Eater that is awesome, but it also reveals half of the game's plot twists. Luckily, I played the game before I saw it, but sometimes Kojima does go a bit overboard on those trailers.
 
I laugh everytime I here a ps3 owner or potential buyer say they don't care about MGS4. What is wrong with these turds?:hot:

Yes, but *North* America is more then one country. Don't call the tour a North American tour when it isn't one. When I originally saw the words "North American tour", I was really excited because I thought there was going to be a Toronto date. It's misleading and disingenuous.
