I was under the impression he was after another porn star, especially with the info he was dropping in "Big Mike's TV Show."

Yeah, I think so, but he seemed okay in episode one of his show.

Episode 2 isn't part of the assignment, but fuck, I'm definitely playing through it again. Easily my favorite game in the series, and in my top two games ever.
 
I've played all of them 3-4 times except for episode 2, which I've only played once. I don't know what the hell is wrong with me.
 
I just wandered onto the Discovery channel where they were showing a special on that "man" who got pregnant. That shit straight up disgusts me. It just physically grosses me the fuck out.

I want Black Mesa to come out. I got into Half Life late in the game, and HL1 is too ugly for me to play though.

I think Gwen Stefani got a lot more attractive when she ditched the whole "look how independent I am" funky clothing and hairstyle phase.

I think she just looked better when she was younger. To her credit, she did age pretty well.

Black Mesa looks amazing. Definitely going to play through that one.

I've been waiting for Black Mesa for years. I'm super pumped about the 2009 release date.

I only ever played OF and BS once each. Maybe I should give them run throughs again.
 
I've never played Half Life. Is there a decent story to it? I've always despised of FPS' because they always seem to lack a story.

HL2 (and it's episodes) are the best single player FPS ever.

Story is okay, that's not the real selling point. The characters, situations, weapons, everything just feels right.

As far as FPSs go, I think it's the only one that made me care about the characters.

It's more the scenery and environment that gets you, not so much the story. The people, the weapons, that kinda thing.

EDIT: Zew said it better.
 
Eh, I like the story; it's just that there are no cut scenes and everything is "told" through your first person perspective, so you just get less of it/it's not the focus.

Fixed. Story isn't the best, but it's the way it's told that really makes the game. Characters and development made the end of Episode 2 fucking hard to watch :(
 
I might have to play it, but the only was I have to do so is on the triple and I hear that Orange Box is horrid on that platform for one reason or another.

Not here, and for that I lament. Hopefully it'll be released this year. If I'm lucky, they'll show something of it at GDC.
 
Do any of y'all know if Valve just going to keep up the episodes until the end of the HL series (assuming it ends with HL2) or are they going to cut them off with some sort of cataclysmic event (or something akin to the end of HL1) and come back with HL3 with Gordon in another situation?
