Played madden and lost to the bengals 35-28. Very very frustrating game. I was down 27-0 and came back because of a variety of INTs and fumbles in the first half. I tried to establish the run and I think the first three times I threw were all picks. I had a chance until Geno threw his fifth pick in the red zone under two minutes left. Gross game.
47-35 win over Northwestern. Another monster game from Gardner (307 passing, 1 TD throwing, 3 TD rushing) and freshman Tommy Slaughter (7 catches for 176). I also had a pick 6 on a 2 pt conversion (a pick 2?) which I don't remember seeing before. #4 Nebraska lost so you should move up. We play this week. By the way, saw you had two restarts. Internet issues?
On that one, I had a disconnect from EA servers error during kickoff so I rebooted, didn't think it would count it. I have no idea what's counting as the second one as I got through that game pretty quick.
Kid issues have been my main issue lately. As soon as I get ready to play, he wakes up.

Haha no problem. I wasn't concerned, you being the guy that threw a game earlier this year for fairness. I'm rooting for you to get to the championship game despite that but will also do my best to play spoiler this week. You're facing me at the wrong time though, having scored 9 TDs with Gardner the last two games. I set as ready on madden so you can advance after you're next game.
Ha, I totally spaced posting it this morning but I got my Madden game in last night and advanced. I went to bed right after and planned on posting the details of it this morning at work, but never got a second. I handled the Saints 35-10, their only TD came off a weird play that has happened to me a few times.
On a punt return, I was using my left stick to make some directional changes and the returner pitches the ball away, sometimes in some unbelievable directions. This time, it went backwards right into a Saints player hands, setting up for an easy TD. Has that ever happened to you?

Well, got my Madden game in before work this morning. I freakin destroyed the 6-2 Chiefs, 52-0, even with Spiller going down for the game early on. Jackson picked it up and went for over 100 and 2 TDs, but EJ is the one who carried the team. He completed 80% of his passes for over 300 yards, 5 TDs and no picks. My D forced 5 TOs as well, 4 of them INTs.
Very nice. You're really cruising in madden. 52-0 is a little nuts. Have you lost since we adjusted sliders? I probably will play in an hour or two.

It's provably going to be tough for me to get NCAA in before the weekend. Friday and Saturday are all but impossible. Sunday late afternoon and night would work well for me.

42-32 Jets over Saints. Geno got hurt really early so I had to rely on Chris Ivory to the tune of 24 carries, 172 yards, 4 TDs. Game was very close. I was down 4 and driving with under a minute left. Scored a TD with Ivory and then a pick 6 from Cromartie sealed it. Advanced. I'm on the bye so I set to ready to advance again. Luckily Geno not out more than a week.

No, I haven't lost since the slider adjustment, perhaps those should go back a little the other way. Some of it could be getting used to the Bills scheme compared to a much different Packer team, but I know that's not all of it.

I got jinxed and hosed! 28-21 loss at Pittsburgh in the rain. With a 14-7 lead and deep in Steeler territory, I threw a bad pass that I shouldn't have tried to force and it was picked. They came down and tied it up. Then I was driving and threw another pick, this time it was a open WR but EJ was way off on the throw.
Of course, my D was pathetic and let them score again. I tied it up on a long Spiller TD run, but I had actually wanted to control the ball the rest of the way , so was a little pissed. They had a few big 3rd down conversions and got within FG range with 1:30 to go. I let them score on a run so I could get the ball back with enough time to try to tie. I moved it to midfield when I got picked and could not challenge the play. Replay clearly showed the ball hit the ground before he got his hands around the ball but alas, I could do nothing.

Sorry man, a big reason I haven't been available much is I keep getting sick. Went to the dr for. third time in 3 wks, now they are saying I have pneumonia and I'm on new medicine. I just don't have much energy. Do you mind waiting a few more days? Once I get better, I will be pretty wide open for availability.
I think I should be home and ready to play around 6. A little later if there's holiday traffic. I'll be available and online the whole night though. If you don't see me on the list it may just mean I'm on ps4 so definitely leave a message here if that's the case. What time are you thinking?

So PS3 users can't see when their friends are on PS4? That is a weird move by Sony. I would think they would want all the PS3 users to see their friends playing next gen stuff to entice them to make the jump.

I'd think that as well but I'm pretty sure that's the case unless my settings are distorted. I just got my ps4 a couple of days ago but my cousin has had it since launch and he's been conspicuously absent from my ps3 friends list the past two weeks. I don't think its a coincidence. On ps4 you can definitely see friends on ps3 though.
I got nba 2k14, Killzone, and call of duty. Enjoying the PS4 but I've had very little time with it so far. I got it Wednesday and played a game of NBA. Thursday morning I got in three or four multiplayer call of duty rounds but then left town for the long weekend and am on my way back now.
NBA plays the same as it did on ps3 but looks quite a bit better. Not as big a jump from ps2 to ps3 (NBA 2k wast first ps3 game too) but a jump in graphics nonetheless. CoD was a mixed bag. Two if the maps I played looked incredible and really took me by surprise how clean and crisp the surroundings were. Another map or two I felt like I could've been playing ps3. Then again, it's a port so that's expected. I'm hoping to try Killzone tonight. Quite honestly I wanted the ps4 for nba and in a few months MLB. The campaign games are going to take at least a few months before a standout game is released. The interface is extremely quick (psn store and trophy sync are instant).
I also finally got a vita on your recommendation. Really only played hotline Miami so far but I love it and can't believe I waited so long. Planning on starting Guacamelee next.
