Heh, that practically when the Wii comes out.

So who here got a PS3 or Wii?

There is one GS still accepting Wii pre-orders (32 total), but very few spots left, PM me. I might give my Wii spot to whom ever needs it. I can get a discount at BB. I don't think ti will be hard to find either.

BUMP - anyone going to stand in line at Best Buy for PS3? I plan to be at the Lake Mead/Rainbow store fairly early on Thursday. PM me if you want to meet up.

I might go to the BB on Maryland/Flamingo, since thats the mother store (gets the most/biggest shipments). They'l probably get the 20 in that was promised.

I heard on the news, that the Maryland Besy Buy was allowing people to buy 2 PS3s? Thats insane BS, probably one of the Managers buddies.

I stopped by the Sony store in the forums shops to visit my friend for a bit, WHAT A MESS. They say they got around 32 systems, but only allowed like 8 people in from outside (around 100 people). Someone said they saw Nick Cannon, no Dane Cook?!!? So who got treated, the High Rollers and other BS, I guess if you're a rich ass hole that spend millions in that casino, you get first dibs.

Anyways, I got my PS3 from EB. :D

Next up is my Wii-Pre-Order from Eb as well. ZELDA!!

Found a whole slew of Wii's today, PM me if you want to know where. Also came across 3 60G PS3s at Kmart on Boulder/RaceTrack. They're hidden in the back near the clearance game stuff.

I'm in Reno right now going to UNR. I can't find shit for PS3s or Wiis. I'm constantly searching though. I'll let you guys know if I get lucky or if I see any available.
Reno here, got a Wii (Costco) but no PS3.

Edit: And this is my first post on CAG!#
welcome

This is my first post. I am from Las Vegas. I am looking to buy an x-box 360 (i think). Can you guys recommend a good deal on the system or a bundle? Also, what accessories do I have to buy and what are ones that I would be smart to buy?

Do you think I should get x-box or ps3?

I think TRU has a $100 GC with a purchase of a 360. Circuit City also has a Gift card deal on the 360.

You can always find great deals on craigslist or ebay also.

Anyone find anything good at Best Buy with the clearance going on? I went to Sunset BB during my lunch break, and first off... their selection sucks, and pretty much what they had was cleaned out.

If anyone finds Onimusha Dawn of Dreams and Final Fantasy 4 advance I would be most grateful.

I went to the same one the day before the sale, they had NOTHING.

I live in henderson and I'm looking to sell or trade my COD3 for the wii. It's in excellent condition I only played it for about a week. I don't want to deal with shipping so i'd like to just set something else and trade or sell it to someone locally. I'll trade it for a wii game that interests me (pm with offers). or I'll sell for $30.

I live near Henderson and Green Valley. If anyone wants a brand new official Wireless Guitar Hero controller for PS2, let me know!

Does anyone know where I can get the first Phoenix Wright game in Las Vegas over by the Nellis Air Force Base? Within 5 miles of the Nellis Entrance.

Long time Cag listener/lurker and just wanted to say high to all of the Nevadans!

There's a GameStop down on Las Vegas Blvd & Cheyenne and I like to go to a location used game shop called Game Repair on Nellis and Harris. You can always try the Wal-mart by the base. I dislike going to the Game Stop on Cheyenne because the neighborhood has gone sour in the past few years.

Question to the Las Vegas CAGS, has anyone ever setup a get together for some gaming?
I'm from Winnemucca NV. For those who don't know that is in Northern Nevada. Not much deals going on here though.
Also, for a small town Winnemucca had some really awesome arcade machines. My brother and I had to install a few ATM's for one of the Casino's and hotels throughout town and we were just floored by how many good Neo-Geo machines were in each of the small hotels and casinos. I would mind living there when I retire in 50 years or so.

Um, hi.

NW Las Vegas and unfortunately the gamestop on Rainbow & Cheyenne seems to get alot of business from me. When I find somewhere else close that sells used games at a decent price, I"l make the change.

FYI guys,

I called PlaynTrade yesterday and they might be getting Smash Brawl in early tomorrow, and will sell early. They're also holding a tournament tomorrow.

Also, at least in regards to Las Vegas stores, our Targets and Wal-Marts sorely lack all of these great prices I see in the official threads.

Boo!

Amen brother! They do suck around here. One Target that does have the clearance prices if they have the games is the Target off of Nellis & Charleston. My fav Wal-Mart to go to is the new one on 215 & Decatur - they sometimes have good deals even though they are brand new. I just really like that they have a dedicated clearance section in both electronics and the main store.

i think the problem with Vegas is that everything is usually sold out before it gets to clearance. Even still I have had some luck here and there finding things on clearance which ring up right.

i dont think it has to do with our targets or whatever not having any clearance items, i jus think there are a shit load of hoarders in Vegas, or FW people.

But yea i got my component cable from TRU in henderson for $10, i couldnt believe there were so many about 15+, also the VGA's are $10, thinking about maybe picking one of those up for my monitor..maybe

There's a "Mike's Game World" on the corner of Las Vegas blvd. and Pecos that has some older stuff - the only thing worth mentioning is the 2 sealed Taiko Drum Master sets with drums. Unfortunatley they're both $40.00. (I wonder if I could talk him down?)

We don't just have local hoarders to contend with, but cali and AZ too. If this city wasn't based on tourism, you'd probably find things alot easier. But also, alot of people here who are poor and only buy games when they do go on clearance.

^^^ That's true. Has anyone found any good local pawn shops? I know we mostly have the "Pawn Place" franchise where PS2/GC/XBOX games go for $10 (although you can usually talk 'em down).

PS1 and lesser generational stuff are rare nowadays.

Oh, and we have no decent Salvation Army stores. At least none of them that I've been to.
Looks like we've got a new Play N Trade in town, on Rainbow and 215...

http://www.playntrade.com/vegas

Anyone been to this location yet?
Im in Vegas as well, I went to the Play N Trade on Eastern and the guy who owns it said the people of this new store are assholes. He said that he offered them a look at his store to see how things run because he had heard they sell scratched games and give bad customer service. Of course this could just be the ramblings of a man trying to keep me coming to his store and not the other one in town as they are all indepently owned but just a word of warning.

Pawn Plus, the locations off of Boulder Highway and Basic area and the new one on Horizon Ridge Pkwy and Horizon. These 2 pawn shops have a great huge pile of original Xbox and a decent stack of PS2 games for sale. All their games go for 6 dollars each. Always check the quality of the disc before buying of course as I have seen some scratched games but I did get Legend Of Zelda - Twilight Princess for the gamecube perfect condition at the Boulder Highway store the other week for 6 dollars.

They don't check the discs? 6 bucks is a really good deal though, I suppose.

I can confirm some of the employees at the Rainbow store are less-than-desirable. I stood at the counter and tried to ask a question, but the guys working just continued their conversation. :bomb:

Is this off of Boulder Hwy & Charleston? Yes, it's true that they have a decent selection of games, but it's really hit or miss and the gas is a killer. That being said, I did pick up a minty MGS3: Subsistence for $10 from them.

Also, there's a decent one off of Washington & Buffalo. They carry decent PS3 & 360 titles but are a little overpriced. Almost grabbed MGS:The Twin Snakes from them but they had priced it at $20. WTF??

FYI - there's one or two $199.99 360's at the Galleria mall in Henderson. Picked mine up today! I'd rather see it go to a CAG'er than anyone else. Best of luck!

I went to the Pawn Plus store on Horizon Ridge, it had a few PS3 titles, mostly sports. All 6 bucks. Forgot about the one on basic.

SO the PlayNTrade on Rainbow is full of a-holes? Also, has anyone been over to gameover (is that the name?) on Nelis? They any good?

I've just started going to the Play N Trade on Eastern. It's pretty good, they're doing buy one used game get one half off right now. They have NES, genesis, dreamcast, a little bit of SNES, etc.

Brawl tournaments every monday too!

Anyone know some places that sell super ninteno games? Play N Trade is the only I've found so far, and their selection is sparse.

theres a place called gameworld on spring mtn and durango that sells SNES games, i dont know if its still there but they also use to have one on Charleston before Lamb.

Game prices suck there but they sell them, and I just saw another play n trade at Rainbow and 215

they also changed the name of a bunch of Gamecrazys to GameTap

People are actually buying their games at those ripoff prices?

Fizzy: I think Gamerepair does on Nelis, and you also might want to check out the new game store Mikey's East.
