Baah! Went out today to pick up some $5 copies of Dynasty Warriors PSP, so I could flip 'em for a profit at Game Crazy and get Wii Play. All three K-Marts that I visited (in Buffalo, NY) had them ringing up at $40. That's one helluva YMMV.

Still waiting for Soul Calibur III to drop from its lofty $14 to an impulse-buy-friendly $7.
 
Is anyone still looking for Psychonauts (Xbox)? I found a couple, if someone would like me to pick it up for them.

Oh, and Champions: Return to Arms is still ringing up at $15.

Anyone know if Geist and Chibi-Robo have dropped to around $5 yet? I know the drops were somehow messed up a while back, was hoping that after the Christmas rush that they were back onto their old schedule.

Also wondering about Ninja Gaiden Black, as I have the guide and want the game to go with it.

Donkey Konga 1 and 2 are definetly YMMV, they rang $25 and $40 respectively...needless, I didnt buy them.

my kmart had those headsets for 4.00... and the adapters didnt even come up in the system :[
 
True Crime: NYC for Xbox scanned at $10.00, but wasn't marked as clearance.

I picked up a 2-pack of Digital Labs dance pads for PS2 for $12. I'll have to look and get the UPC numbers.

I went to my local KMart, got some great deals, including some kind of weird screw-up. I got Harvest Moon- More Friends for the GBA for 29 cents.
It scanned 29 cents, but said Tetris DX on the screen, after some discussion they let me have it for that price.:applause:

Yes it is real. I picked one up at the K-Mart in Danville, Va. It was the last one they had. I'm debating whether I am going to put this on my tradelist or not.



They actually have all the games open so you don't have to ask someone to unlock a case. Makes it SO much easier to searchthrough their mess.
 
One I picked up recently I haven't seen on the list is Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for GBA at $3. This is in the Springdale, AR store, and they had two copies (I picked up both, one for myself and one for a friend's birthday present).

Yeah, Harvest Moon: More Friends was printed with an incorrect UPC. Retail stores were supposed to receive stickers to place over the UPC so it would ring up correctly, but I guess not all were diligent about applying them.
 
Well, so far the OP has not added any of the titles mentioned here that are not listed in the OP yet. I'd consider starting a new thread again, but I'd like to have the ability to edit out or remove any posts that do not mention new titles, prices, etc...basically authority to remove the irrelevant posts. If this can be done, then I'll do a new thread.
 
Would be extremely nice to have a new list...If you are able to do one, will you highlight or bold anything new since beginning of January?
 
Which Fullmetal Alchemist (PS2) was it on clearance ($3)? I've been looking for either but haven't seen them at all.

My Kmart didn't have anything for the consoles. They had a few of the PSP ones but nothing I wanted.

I saw Castlevania Double Pack and that's pretty much it. I was about to leave when I saw a copy of Gunstar Super Heroes sticking up with a pile of 'clearance' GBA/DS games (like all the Disney and Nickelodeon crap). I was 'holy shit!' when I saw it. After snagging it, I went back to see if there's anything else... I was about to leave when I noticed a copy of WW Touched!. It was full price but I picked it up anyway.

So I ended up spending $40 for a game I've been wanting for a while and a game I could turn into some good change.

At this point it's not even hoarding, most've been these prices for over 6 weeks now I believe. I found two copies of Advance Wars DS for $9 today and didn't think twice about buying them :)

By the way, I really hate the fact that I've scanned Dynasty Warriors PSP @ at least 5 different kmarts and only had 1 come up as $5 heh
 
The Halo Triple Pack for $12 is a great deal, even when you have buttloads of unopened games that you have yet to even try out and half finished games that you just 'forgot' about. LOL

That's the ONLY problem with CAG for me, when I see a game I may wanna try out, I'll pick it up and then wonder when the hell I'll have a chance to actually PLAY it.

THE HTP I bought about a month or more ago is still sitting unopened, along with the DMC Triple Pack I bought with the $20 gift card BB sent me for a local store not selling me the Prima guides for .00.

And, if I count up the other 5-10 titles I probably have sitting around collecting dust, I have a bunch that won't see any play time for a long time to come.

Am I the ONLY one who buys games with the intent to play them but almost forgets they even HAVE them after a while?

My local(Moosic, PA) Kmart still has some games in stock, in case any local CAGs read this:

SRS Street Racing(GC): out of system, will ring up check shelf label)

Numerous copies of Wind Waker(all PC though)

And numerous other ones, in case local CAGs want to hit this store.

It WAS clearanced but went out of the system many months ago. It will ring up as either "Item not found" or "Price Required" so getting it for less than the sticker price now will be near impossible,

Also of note, Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation (GBA) rang up as $19.99. Not a bad price for it, but could be better.

Mark of Kri is STILL holding strong at $21.00. The most clearance resistant game at K-Mart ever!

Tell me about it. I broke down last year and got one at that price because I was tired of waiting for it to drop further.
 
its would probably be easier if we could come up with a way to easily update the list.. this is a newer kmart thread and its at 8 pages already... to be able to find a game you'd have to spend about half hour to an hour looking for stuff cause youre forced to read the posts. when was the last time the OP updated the first post?
 
The easiest way would be to have shiningslade run the list. I agree the OP should not have done this. We had a good thing going on before, even with all of the superfolous posts. But really, who cares about that? Everyone knew the OP was where to go to find the deals. I want someone to close this thread and let shingingslade take back over.

Well, seeing how I thought the old thread was fine I'm wish the OP would update. Yeah, the thread was big, but so what? There are a lot of huge threads. It's just that someone busted in and said it's got to go. I say bring back the old one, warts and all.
