NFL 2007 Season Thread
Beautiful... just a beautiful catch by Kevin Faulk.
Did San Diego not have any challenges or what? (I've been out for the last hour or so) They absolutely should've challenged that if they did.

See this is what other teams need to learn. Its all about the lineman. The Pats are so good beacuse they kill people by giving their QB 6-10 seconds when other QB get 4.

You have to build the foundation first and then build up from there.

Well they wasted their TO, so if would have lost the challenge it would have been their last TO thus game over.

That is what happens when you screw up clock management.

It's just that it didn't look like a catch to me. Plus, who knows with the inconsistency on these types of calls (Santonio Holmes' catch called back against Jax)? Then again, who knows when the call is dealing with the Pats?

It was 3rd and 11 in do or die time. You gotta challenge that play.

Maroney is fun to watch when he actually produces. But when he just dances behind the line and just ends up making it to the line of scrimmage it becomes frustrating...

And isn't Brockton the city of champions?

Ummm...no?

It was a catch for one. It was a clear catch has he had it in his hands before he even touch the ground then wasnt touch until after he rolled past the first down marker.

But there was still enough time for the defense to stop them and get the ball back. If you lose that challenege (which you would because it was a clear catch) the game would be over right then and there.

I honestly cant believe LDT didnt play more. Is he that hurt? Isnt that what its all about? Stepping up and playing through when the big games are on the line? Has he ever heard of Brett Farve? T.O.? Hell even his own QB Rivers was really hurt and still played. Thats what I thought superstars did.

Unless LDT leg is completely broken then I think he is pussing out.
I dont think so.

The Pats have been beating healthy teams all year.

The think people forget is simply the Pats know how to win. No matter what you throw at them...they simply just know how to finish.

Whether or not the Chargers are healthy or not I think the Pats would just find a way to win it anyway.

Seriously though. All it is is Chambers and Jackson......can we shut these guys down? Damn.
They were without the best RB in NFL and arguably all-time. Gates was playing on one foot, and Rivers played well even with the injury.

Props to the Pats.

They may claim Marvin Hagler, but he grew up in New Jersey. All Brockton really has is Rocky Marciano, and thats not enough to proclaim yourself the city of champions.

No offense to the Giants fans but I really want to see the Pack in the bowl. Favre vs. Brady would be epic as would the chance to avenge our earlier loss in 1997.

The talk of benching Rivers is ridiculous, he had a very strong game I thought with a lot of big completions no way in hell Volek plays that well.

What I am saying is that the best have been beating healthy teams all year long.

Again, its about knowing how to win. So even if those players where in the game I would still say the Pats would find a way to come out on top just like they have been doing all year long.

Not to forget that the Pats already crushed a completely healthy Chragers team at the begining of the season.

Alright good luck Packers I am going to see cloverfield instead of watching your game. I really hate the cowboys so I how Brett has a killer game.

I also dont think either team can be the Pats anyway.

The team in week 2 was totally different than the team they just played.

Let's gooooooooo Pack.

o rry?
Why thank you. I've needed a new sig quote.
im honored but i dont have anything to qoute from u =[ and i messed up my korean keke face =/

Bravo Patriots. I would've liked it to go down differently but I was happy enough to see a (mostly) clean game and the Chargers performance gives me hope that, barring a free agent exodus (please keep Michael Turner), they can get to the Super Bowl next year.

The best news out of it is that Junior Seau may well wind up getting a ring. After all the hard times he endured in San Diego throughout the years, he's certainly earned it.

Go Giants. The only way the Pats lose now is if the refs consciously or subconsciously blow calls against the Patriots because everyone will want to see Favre go out on top.

That is truth! I am glad I missed most of the game(at work) because I would have ripped my fucking hair out! I hate to see my team lose, no less when they had so many chances against a team that is usually almost perfect in their execution.

I just have to wonder what if the big 3 would have been 100%... There is always next year..
maroney is still a ugly n***** ^^
naw not happening pats are one of the poster teams for the nfl and theyre gonna make sure they reach that 19-0 if that means bogus pass interference calls, holding calls, anything possible especially if its against the giants.

it would be funny tho if they did lose the super bowl id laugh so hard at the fans who cant even commend the other team for putting up a decent show when theyre already crippled as it is seriously they boo the other team instead of at least clapping for their efforts wtf?

I believe I have commended Rivers at least two times for his solid play

for someone that was supposedly injured he sure did run pretty good and i thought his injury was worse than lt's yet lt sat out the entire game
Geesh, does GB even have any other pass plays? Seriously, mix it up!!!
Naw... the Packers are probably "letting" the Giants get the lead early to "make it interesting."
