NFL 2007 Season Thread

Nice return there Giants. Now if Eli can do something with this..... god I want them Giants to win this game.

Oh, and  @ Chargers winning. I did NOT see that coming. At all.

Someone has to make an animated GIF of Jacobs throwing the ball into the play clock.
I get dibs on that avatar if someone finds it
I can't believe the Colts lost. Dammit.
I am in complete shock - I thought the Colts winning was the lock of the week.

Ditto
Also seems the Boys are not pretending that Julius Jones is their starter anymore

I want the Giants to win but at the same time I don't because Green Bay will destroy that secondary. Since I don't have a dog in this fight I'm for whatever will create the best and most entertaining championship games.

God, nothing would make me more happy than both of the bitch ass manning brothers to lose on the same day.

What was that 2 sport thing they were doing?

This Dallas Drive is a perfect example of what I don't understand about Dallas.

First, let me say I was wrong about Romo. he's the real deal. Last year I thought he was overhyped. But he proved his moxie this season. however, that series where he takes a fourteen yard sack and then throws a brilliant 20 yard pass is exactly why i thought he was hyped too much last year. He seems to have menbtal breakdowns where he damages his team on a play. But thn he has two brilliant plays to make it up. Last year it was more the other way around.

But this is really his first full season in the league. So he'll keep learning and getting better and better. I think he's going to eventually have a long, brilliant career.

But then Dallas as a team seems to have discipline issues. They've had a couple penalties today that were in regards to retaliation after the previous play they felt slighted by NY. And they probably were. But you don't retaliate. That personal foul against strahan was an example of that. And then their blocking is average. They have the talent. But last year their blocking was an issue, and they've had problems blocking today. But they're so good, they still score a ton of points.

Also, their coaching has been terrible. I can't recall the last time they ran the ball. they have plenty of time, but the coach isn't calling anythiung that doesn't get them ten yards. Yes, the Giants secondary may be weak, but if you don't run the ball at all you're asking for trouble.

So I can't figure them out. They appear flat out better than NY, but frankly they aren't playing up to their potential. But they let NY hang around. and hang around, and that will come and bite you at home.

Well, it looks like Dallas gets one more chance, and I don't know if they're going to have a four-an-out or throw a 40 yard play for a touchdown. They're that inscrutable to me.

Wow, Green Bay has to be the luckiest team of the century... They inflate their record playing in a weak division, A couple teams give games away to them at the end, they get home field in the wild card round and the weather gives them a huge advantage, and now they get the Giants to upset the Cowboys.
A pack Pats bowl would be nice a chance to exonerate the ghost of Desmond Howard
I'm routing for a Packers/Pats Super Bowl. I would then like to see Brett Favre win another Super Bowl.

Wow. The 2 teams I hate the most are playing in the NFC Championship (its a lie, I hate the Lions and Bears more than the Giants). Go Giants I guess?

Either way, its left with 4 teams I really dislike. Grrrrreat!

:-({|= Don't hate cuz you know they are better than last years Bears team. :booty:
giants win 21-17
Nice call. For some reason I didn't do it here, but I made the same 21-17 Giants win pick over at AoD!

*high fives*

QFT. Packers suck.
I'll always be in denial, no matter how many times they beat us, we're still better. The Packers are the one team I don't mind making myself look like an idiot over. I respect every other team. I respect Brett Farve, but not the Packers as a whole.
