Nintendo E3 2011 Press Conference - Wii U, Luigi's Mansion 2, Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS

I keep waiting for the punchline; this is too funny to be real. How could Nintendo botch this so badly? There was so much talk of them learning from their mistakes and then they take a shit on Us.

How much does anyone really use their Wii? Id rather get a solid price for it now, its not like the Wii is receiving a flood of brilliant games I need to play. I mean doing it this way I got a good price and then whenever a new system comes out I can pick it up and play these games dirt cheap. Between my PS3 my Ipad and Steam just from buying games that are on sale(I never buy new)there is always a huge flood of games to play.
 
This is a disaster. What a massive disappointment. If there is a new console, then they are doing an incredibly bad job of getting that idea across.
 
Even if they don't announce Cafe, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I wasn't sure that there was going to be a new console announcement, just that they may show tech behind closed doors.
 
i like how they talked a lot about giving us what we want and then gave us the opposite with this crap

all they needed to do was
Wii +
HD
good online
more 3rd party
 
My head is just full of "what???". Streaming to a tablet is their big plan? This sounds like something Sony could do with a PS3 firmware update and the Vita.

Hahhaha, I love this montage of devs giving us PORTS of established games on this 'new console'. Yeah, I'll just get them on my PS3 thanks.

Wow, i was really worried for a while there. But I'm on board now. The controller looks awesome.

I don't care if it isn't more powerful than the 360. I just wanted it on par.
 
Hmmm well I am glad there is a new console in the making...but at the same time I still do not see this as the answer Nintendo needs nor something I personally need right off the bat. I mean again its all about exclusives and what your system can do. The exclusives obviously are not there and chances are Sony/MS will announce new systems and this thing will be forgotten by developers.

If they really wanted to blow the doors off this thing, they should have approached Sega about an exclusive Shenmue 3. That would have won me. Too little, too late to be entering the console war with the same games, Nintendo.

Doesn't really need to. All people need is the chance for an HD Zelda game.

Isn't it going to be over a year before it gets released?

Also, I didn't really see anything new in the Vita presentation either, and that's coming out this year.
