I feel like I remember Amazon's email system being totally worthless high demand items. Doesn't it just send the email within 30 minutes of an item going active? I guess it's better than Best Buy's bookmark system.

Unless it's been fixed, I don't think I've ever gotten a notification email from Amazon for anything even after signing up on a specific listing.

Only worked for me with 2-3 items, and when I did get the email it was before CAG or Wario tweeted about it. Otherwise, I don't get the emails.

I'm a little surprised they don't have some sort of free shipping promo over a certain dollar threshold.

If you just want the game only both Amazon and Gamestop have it listed (though not on Best Buy yet).

 
I hope this steelbook comes with the normal ultimate edition for Forza Horizon 4 in the US. There is no official information other than this one as a bonus.

That's cool at the same time would bug me as I like to open them ASAP to check for defects/things broken.

Nobody wants to be a casualty of Red Dead 2. While I love Metro, it wouldn't compete for my attention during that launch window; not even close.

Does anyone else here experience an issue when logging into your bestbuy.com account on Firefox? When I type the info in and hit sign in, it basically freezes my browser for 30 seconds to a minute. It doesn't do it on Chrome or Opera though.

I have the same issue at home and work. Something is up with their login site.

 
I thought OT was already out... did they just restock the CE? Anyway I ordered one from Best Buy, wish I had done shipping instead of in store pick up since I didn't get the discount and taxes where I will pick it up are higher.

Will other big retailers get their hands on this 500M limited edition PS4 too? Like Walmart, Newegg. If not then that really blows

Also anyone know f the 500M LE will have a good 2TB hard drive? I’m guessing it would be 5400rpm so I might get a firecuda

It was expected Gamestop US to list the 500M (Gamestop Italy and Ebgames Aus sold these), but so far nothing yet.

I wouldn't hold my breath on any other retailers to sell this.

I'm trying to trade in my regular PS4 Pro towards the 500M Le if possible. I wanted to know if anyone has had luck buying something online only to return and rebuy using credit in store. I don't really like keeping a balance at GS anymore so I'm hoping this process isn't a major headache.

I was in my local Gamestop store Saturday and am friends with the manager. He said they haven't been even given information yet if the store will be able to do pre-orders; or if its online only through web in store. He also didn't know when they were going live on their system on the 24th. He said they will have them but not sure how the stores get to handle them. That was Saturday 10am when they opened.

It’s definitely possible. The Monster Hunter PS4 Pro was online only, so I ordered it w/ a credit card. Once it arrived, I went to my favorite store and asked if they wouldn’t mind me returning and rebuying it since I’d rather save on tax and use my trade credit. Employee was happy to do so. Best of luck!

The 500 Million LE is a new CUH that runs quieter but hotter than the first generation Pro; also, the translucent dark blue console shell is apparently a dust-scratch-fingerprint magnet. Love the look, but too high-maintenance for me. Good luck to those trying purchase.

How easy was it to get an order in? I know the 500m is more limited but did that go out of stock in minutes? I’m really thinking that once t goes live I won’t even be able to finish putting my info in and it’ll go out of stock

It wasn’t too bad for the Monster Hunter PS4 Pro. I think there were 5,000 to 6,000 allotted to GameStop, but it showed up multiple times before and after releasing.

All we can do is wait and pray for the 500m unit!
