Just like everything else sold in the US. Reminds me of how medication is more expensive here in the US while cheaper and subsidized everywhere else. Forget about big pharma. Big game publisher is worse for the consumer! :lol:

Well, actually if you compare that to the "Free Signature Edition upgrade" at Gamestop all of what you listed matches up with what you are getting in the Signature Edition upgrade in the U.S. The only thing is they haven't exactly detailed the playable characters and that single player add on but it all matches up. So I guess a sort of kudos on Ubisoft for including all that stuff for free instead of trying to tack on an extra $10 for a premium edition here in the U.S. And I really hope that Vlad the Impaler one is the one we are getting in the Signature Edition because I have to admit that sounds pretty awesome.

Only thing is you have to preorder at gamestop to get it.

That's not true. The overseas edition gets an actual, physical encyclopedia detailing the games' world, characters, etc. The only way to get it in the US, as far as has been revealed, is to buy it from the UbiWorkshop store when it becomes available. I wouldn't be surprised if that cost at least $40. UbiWorkshop items aren't cheap (see: their replica black Desmond hoodie for $90.)

i doubt there will be one.

the game is too close to launch day (5 months is close i think :p).

mass effect 3 comes out next year and a CE has already been announced. look at Deus Ex Augmented Edition, announced early this year as well.

There will be a Skyrim CE... complete waste of money for them not to do one.

Can anyone clarify what are the details of the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition - PC version. I know GameStop is getting some exclusives. Are these exclusives downloadable content or are they included on a disc? Also is the "Tactical Enhancement Pack" included with the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition - PC version as downloadable content or is it included on the disc? Finally, will the foreign versions have any differences? I just abhor it when GameStop gets exclusive content for games. I just hate giving that corrupt operation one penny. Thanks again.

I go back and forth on this, a mini-guide is normally useless but a digital guide is slight annoying but it is the whole guide, if this message is true.
 
I rarely get LE/CE/SE items but I'll probably do it for Mass Effect 3. I want to do it for Deus Ex as well but the special packaging (instead of a steelbook) doesn't look too great. It's too bad there isn't a regular steelbook version of Uncharted 3.
 
anyone know if there will be a collectors edition or anything fo Persona 2 Innocent Sin (Shin Megami Tensei) for the psp? I noticed it was in my gold box today and am contemplating ordering it, but im not sure if its going to come with any extras or what. If the european version gets a LE i may just go with that. I havent really heard anything one way or another about it.

plus even without a LE im thinking i should wait for a price drop, though with the psp at the end of its life cycle im not sure if it will be one of those games that sells out its run then shoots up in price >_
 
any promo or coupon codes for THQ online store? my son really wants the space marines CE but 100 for that is essentially too much for it.

I wonder how Forza 4 would be better with the Kinect sensor. Could it mean I can give hand gestures from the couch and it will show in game? In game road rage?

Turn 10 has fooled me twice with Forza 2 & 3 for various reasons, so now I won't touch Forza 4 until it's a Platinum Hit.

If it's like Forza 3, all the content will be available separately.

I think he's referring to how Turn 10 has re-released Forza 2 and Forza 3 with all the DLC as the Platinum Hits version much like Fallout 3 GOTY edition and Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition (although neither of those last two were the platinum hits release).

I bought Forza 3 Ultimate Edition so long ago but still haven't put any significant time into it even after coming one achievement short of 100%ing (I wish Microsoft would come up with a Platinum Trophy equivalent) Forza 2. I even used the DLC code that came with Forza 3 when it was selling for $20 anticipating that it was going to be my next main game #-o. I'll definitely be waiting for the inevitable "Platinum Hits" edition as well.
 
Well more specifically, the content exclusive to the Forza CE (extra cars and VIP membership) were later released as DLC that anyone could buy. I don't know what the details were regarding claimed exclusivity for the VIP membership, etc. but I think it put off people who bought the LCE at launch only to find they could have gotten VIP access later on as DLC.

I'm honestly a little let down by the Forza 4 LE. I will probably still get it, but I was looking forward to something like a keychain like the last one had. Oh well.

I'd prefer a full Batman body suit (no nipples or indented ass crack) with a fully functional utility belt that includes a button than whenever pressed plays a sound bite of Christian Bale saying "I'm Batman". Women dig that right?

Plus they released dlc in the platinum hits version for both games that you could not get otherwise. For Forza 2 it was the collector's edition cars (a collector's edition was released for Europe and Canada but not for the US) and the Stig's Pack for Forza 3. I also learned my lesson and will wait for the platinum hits F4.
 
My new plan for Forza 4 after getting both the LCE and UC copy of part 3:

Buy part 4 regular edition on sale somewhere for around $45.
Get my achievements and enjoy the game for 2 months.
Wait for a gamestop 50% more credit trade in offer and get around $30.
Use that $30 next year to get the UC of Forza 4.

By doing this I get to play the game at launch, get all the DLC for free and get everything for $15 off retail. If I'm feeling saucy, I could even buy the VIP DLC a few months after release and be around $60 for everything.
 
Yea but consoles get only 24 players online.. That's not true battlefield ugh.. I just hope thenext battlefield in the next gen console can support more players online

Though I wish I possessed the fortitude to wait it out that long in hopes of this becoming a reality, I got a feeling once I see that quiver case in stores and how the box looks, I won't be able to hold out that long:drool: And looks like TRU has the only physical item pre-order bonus (signed poster), so I'll see if they have this available for pre-order later today. The CE's are really starting to pile up 2nd half of this year:bouncy:

Anyone know if THQ is the only place that will carry that 40k CE? I cant find any more info on other vendors having it besides the preorder bonus stuff.

When it was announced, THQ said it was exclusive to their store. I haven't followed it since to see if that changed.
 
I'm going to be running to Gamestop today to try and pre-order the Warhammer CE. I'll report back with my findings. I'll also be putting in my pre-orders for War in the North(unless the TRU signed poster is a reality) and Dead Island CE.

On a side note, picked up the Tron Legacy CE for $50. Now $50 for a CE brand new isn't bad, but was anyone else disappointed with the quality of the lightcycle? Especially for the $130 they were asking for it originally?
