[quote name='Inferno-X']The way I see it right now:
1) Saints
2) Panthers
3) Falcons
4) Bucs
As others have said, TB has a rookie QB and he's average at best. That O isn't going to run the score up on any team. Falcons are too one sided, you know they are going to run and once you force Vick to throw the ball cracks will be seen in Atlanta's armor. Carolina is good, but how healthy is Steve Smith going to be this year? Jake Delhomme has been pretty inconsistant so far. I like New Orleans, a very well rounded team. They pound the ball with McAllister, switch off with Bush and can air it out with Brees/Joe Horn. The only thing the Saints have working against them is fate, lol.

The NFC South is clearly the best division in the NFL. The reason this season is tougher than any other is that arguably the two toughest divisions in the NFL, the NFC South and NFC East, have to play each team on the schedule.
I still think that New Orleans will come back down to earth since they have actually had the easiest schedule of the teams in the division so far and teams have taken them lightly which isn't going to continue. Brees has been solid and Deuce is back to his Pro Bowl form. I still think Reggie Bush is overrated (he's great, but everyone hypes him out to the best back in the league), and Joe Horn looks to be scoring TD's again. Sean Payton is a surprisingly great coach. There defense is a lot better than I thought, although there secondary is still questionable. I'm glad the Bucs haven't given up and have played well the last four games; losing the first two on late scores in the 4th, and of course winning the last two in dramatic fashion. The defense has actually been horrid for the Bucs standards so any improvement (especially tackling) is going to help. The offense is only going to get better with Gradkowski getting familiar with Gruden's offense and his recievers (especially Galloway) and with the line starting to make holes for Cadillac. This team with the horrid start could be 4-2 if they could've held on in the final minutes against Caroline and NO. Remember, this guy is a 6th round pick, he's supposed to be average not Matt Leinart. Carolina is an up and down team, but they manage to win most of the games where they don't play their best. They have the most resiliency of any team in the NFL in dealing with injuries, aside from the Pats. I still think their running game and O-line is suspect, but that defense offsets it by turnovers and scoring points off of them. Atlanta is probably the strangest team. They have the best running attack but Vick can be amazing one week and awful the next. You never know which Atlanta team will show up on a given week. I've never seen another team bring in so many new players on defense every offseason. yet continue to give up points and yards like they do. I like Rich McKay (he rebuilt the Bucs with Dungy and constructed the Super Bowl team) and I always wonder how they have that much salary cap money to go out and sign all of these high priced free agents (Abraham, Milloy, Hartwell, Coleman). I still think it's too early in the year to predict how the division will unfold especially with the disparity in records shrinking from week to week.
