Joey Harrington threw for over 400 yards....amazing. Although, he threw a couple of picks and had 60+ pass attempts. The Dolphins must be horrible to have Joey throw that much.

Although, not as bad as our Lions here....ah yes, 1-6....#1 pick in the draft coming our way :)

Now, who do they take....hopefully NO ONE from Notre Dame ;)
A) wow vick threw for 4 tds? boy i missed alot thanks to work.
B) as i said it before here..the cards are equal to the raiders as the worst team in football..i think today they surpass that.
C) would that be West Ham United of the english premier league?if so atleast they didnt lose a derby match like the reds did to Man United. thats was one sorry ass game the Reds played. Matt Bryant's kick was amazing as i just saw on ESPN.
Actually, it was a North London Derby to Tottenham.
Yup. Good job against the second string offense.
Vikings defense is fine, it was nice to see them play a decent game on offense for once.

You and I both know if Hasselbeck had finished the game, the score would have been a lot different. Senaca Wallace is as about effective as Senaca Apple Juice. I don't know why Greene is third-string behind this guy. They've wasted money on him for years.

Oct 22 The Associated Press reports Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis has told WR Chad Johnson he wants no more celebrating or gloating. The disappointed Johnson said, "So therefore, what you see from me is what he wants -- just make your plays and go back to the huddle. So that's what I'm going to do. Going to be no more talking, no nothing. Just go out there and play, go home. If that's what it takes to make us a better team, so be it." When asked if he the gag order included touchdown celebrations, Johnson nodded and said, "Very lame, isn't it?"

Score would've been different, but you can't say the Seahawks would have won. He had one big play, in the first half, but that was about it. And he doesn't play on that weak defense.

You are right though, Senaca was pretty bad and that effectively ended the game.

ah yeah thats where Defoe had the infamous mike tyson bite on javier mascherano. I had the Hammers winning that derby. The spurs are totally dissappointing this year and do not show the form they had last year

He actually did bite him? Watching it live (delayed) it only looked like he was whispering loving thoughts in his ear.

But we should take this to the thread I started...

I think Wallace could be more effective if he played to his strengths -- namely, get out and run! He is not a classic drop-back passer, but he thinks he is. He could have made some big plays with his legs on Sunday, but he just sat in the pocket and never moved. Hopefully, he will in KC or it will be a loooong day.

I don't care who they play. They need to get the ball to TO, so I can win my fantasy matchup this week.

And it's as much their line as it is Bledsoe. Only one of those sacks can really be attributed to Bledsoe.

Romo may have started shaky, but he has played well since. Thats two drives he has lead the offense down the field into scoring range (fucking TO should have caught the ball on fourth down).
nfc east has to be the most interesting division in football right now
People expected that before the season started. The only thing is that none of the teams look like true Superbowl contenders because of their inconsistency, up and down the division.

Now I just need one more score so that I can win my over bet for this game.
nfc east has to be the most interesting division in football right now
the nfc south is very intersting right now more than the nfc east.

agreed. with the falcons, panthers, and the bucs all with in striking range of each other..it will make for one tight race. its like the NL West in Baseball.

I think the Bucs may soon be outside striking distance with the schedule that they've got ahead of them. Its going to he a tough 10 games for them. Their easiest matchup, on paper looks to be Cleveland. Too bad they don't play the Raiders and 49ers.
the nfc south is very intersting right now more than the nfc east.
Yeah, there are a lot of good matchups there. Hopefully with East beating up the East and the South beating up the South the Vikings will be able to sneak in with a wild card spot.

I don't think TB really has a shot. Not with a rookie QB, not with a loss in hand to every other team. Atlanta does have to go to TB, but they also have Carolina and NO at home.

I need to see how I've done thus far with my picks....

If Atlanta keeps playing like they did against Pittsburgh Sunday, they'll be fine. That was one of the best football games, college or pro, I can remember seeing in quite some time. Both teams played great, momentum (and the lead) changed like 50 times. Amazing. I did want to throttle Cowher after that time out call, though. :bomb:

The way I see it right now:

1) Saints
2) Panthers
3) Falcons
4) Bucs

As others have said, TB has a rookie QB and he's average at best. That O isn't going to run the score up on any team. Falcons are too one sided, you know they are going to run and once you force Vick to throw the ball cracks will be seen in Atlanta's armor. Carolina is good, but how healthy is Steve Smith going to be this year? Jake Delhomme has been pretty inconsistant so far. I like New Orleans, a very well rounded team. They pound the ball with McAllister, switch off with Bush and can air it out with Brees/Joe Horn. The only thing the Saints have working against them is fate, lol. :D

I'm 64-36 in games played thus far. Not bad, considering I'm sticking to the picks I made before the season started. I am perfect on the Colts, Bengals, Patriots, Jaguars, Broncos, Raiders, Chargers, Giants, Eagles, Redskins, Falcons and 49ers. I was completely off on the Dolphins and Saints.

Like I said, not bad. I've gone 11-5, 12-4, 7-7, 7-7, 10-4, 9-4, 8-5. I wonder how that stacks up with what the pros said.

Rumors are circulating that Bledsoe has cleaned out his locker after being notifed that he will be the backup. When Bledsoe was signed by Dallas, he said he'd retire before he became a backup again. We'll see.

I wonder how much cash he'd be missing out on if that's the case.

The NFC South is clearly the best division in the NFL. The reason this season is tougher than any other is that arguably the two toughest divisions in the NFL, the NFC South and NFC East, have to play each team on the schedule.

I still think that New Orleans will come back down to earth since they have actually had the easiest schedule of the teams in the division so far and teams have taken them lightly which isn't going to continue. Brees has been solid and Deuce is back to his Pro Bowl form. I still think Reggie Bush is overrated (he's great, but everyone hypes him out to the best back in the league), and Joe Horn looks to be scoring TD's again. Sean Payton is a surprisingly great coach. There defense is a lot better than I thought, although there secondary is still questionable. I'm glad the Bucs haven't given up and have played well the last four games; losing the first two on late scores in the 4th, and of course winning the last two in dramatic fashion. The defense has actually been horrid for the Bucs standards so any improvement (especially tackling) is going to help. The offense is only going to get better with Gradkowski getting familiar with Gruden's offense and his recievers (especially Galloway) and with the line starting to make holes for Cadillac. This team with the horrid start could be 4-2 if they could've held on in the final minutes against Caroline and NO. Remember, this guy is a 6th round pick, he's supposed to be average not Matt Leinart. Carolina is an up and down team, but they manage to win most of the games where they don't play their best. They have the most resiliency of any team in the NFL in dealing with injuries, aside from the Pats. I still think their running game and O-line is suspect, but that defense offsets it by turnovers and scoring points off of them. Atlanta is probably the strangest team. They have the best running attack but Vick can be amazing one week and awful the next. You never know which Atlanta team will show up on a given week. I've never seen another team bring in so many new players on defense every offseason. yet continue to give up points and yards like they do. I like Rich McKay (he rebuilt the Bucs with Dungy and constructed the Super Bowl team) and I always wonder how they have that much salary cap money to go out and sign all of these high priced free agents (Abraham, Milloy, Hartwell, Coleman). I still think it's too early in the year to predict how the division will unfold especially with the disparity in records shrinking from week to week.

The Giants are 4-2 with three wins in a row - they seem to have righted the ship and their only losses are to the Colts (which they could have won) and to the Seahawks (where they got killed) but those are both playoff teams. They have a murderous schedule because they have to play the NFC South as well as everyone in the East twice. They are as legit of a Super Bowl contender as anyone else in the NFC.

Don't forget we also picked up the human Cadillac Grady Jackson. Abraham out at least three weeks with abdominal surgery. That sucks.

Carolina's biggest problem is that they cannot get the tough yardage in short yard situtations and have been really bad on third down. They either need to let Hoover run on third down or use Deangelo Williams in those situtations since Foster cannot get it done. This is the second year in a row of a poor ground game for Carolina and Deshaun has shown himself to be ineffective in these situtations.

When they did a thunder and lightning thing early on in the year, the run game was actually getting some traction. Hopefully with Williams getting healthy they can return to this.

Another week of no 4PM games? WTF? The Denver/Indy game is the biggest game of the week and CBS isn't showing it? fuck them.

Whatever happened to running a Hail Mary play at the end of game instead of going for a Music City Miracle-type of play?

Here all I would get on a double header is the Colts if they are playing, but then again, this is the only Colts game I care to watch so far this season.

It appears that now the game is on. :whistle2:s The channel guide said that there'd be some stupid infomercial on next, but it's been changed at the last minute. :D Now I'm happy.

It's too bad that Indy's diggest weakness on defense is Denver's biggest strength (rushing). That's Mike's 3rd TD run and Indy expected another jump over the line, so he just ran it in easily. :D

steelers are losing to the raiders. rothisl boagbuloeure with 4 picks. they need to bench him and put in batch, shit batch should have started.
Damn, the Colts' run defense is absolutely terrible. Mike Bell is torching them right now.
That's the turbo up the right side of the line, R-stick juke, and the turbo up the sideline again. Just like Madden I tell you. What a game.

Boy, I got rocked on my picks this week. Looked like Ben had a chance to run it in there, but I'm guessing he didn't want to have his face smashed again.
