No way that happens.
The Warriors will beat Houston in the next round. The giant Chinaman will be very sad trying to play in that up and down style of Golden State. Rockets just won't be able to compete, that series will probably be done in 6. After that though, if Golden State tries to run the Texas gauntlet, they'll meet a bitter end against the Spurs. San Antonio is so disciplined, so experienced, and so flat out good, that there's no way the Warriors upset the Spurs.
Now, if the Suns beat the Spurs, then you're looking at a very interesting series. However, the Suns are masters of the run n gun style, and I think Golden State just won't be able to win that series in the end. Steve Nash isn't a chump like Jason Terry, and in the end he'll be controlling the flow of the game.
The irony here is despite the Commish's moves to try to get the best 2 teams in the conference meeting in the conference finals, we're going to see the best 2 teams in the west meet in the 2nd round yet again.
Phoenix and San Antonio should be an amazing series, and I'm still on the fence as to who to pick. I'm leaning towards Phoenix though, simply because Amare is one of only two players (Shaq is the other) to flat out dominate Tim Duncan in a play-off series. Add to that Phoenix has home court advantage, and for Steve Nash to really solidify his position among the NBA's all-time greats he needs to take this team to the finals. That and I think Detroit will crush Phoenix, where as San Antonio would be a much trickier series, so naturally I'll be rooting for the Suns.

Why is Chuck Norris fishing with the Mavs?
so you discount Utah because of what?.. you believe that they can't win in Houston? Houston's bench needs to play better if they don't want to lose game 7 you think it is automatic that they win, probably because you read a lot of national news sites never really watch either team play outside of this series.
Utah has the advantage going into Houston, the pressure is on Houston to win, they could have shut this series out 3 games ago if they wanted to and they've been playing sketchy throughout.. if Houston's other 7 players decide to show up saturday then maybe, but then again.. they almost lost game 5 and your right a loss is a loss.. but I mean its not as automatic as you make it sound..
If AK plays half as well as he played tonight and Memo hits half the threes he hit tonight.. I don't think Houston has a shot..
If boozer/memo make Yao take fade aways get into his head than that puts all the pressure on Tracy, and isn't he due for a back spasm or something? if Luther Head plays as well as he did during the Reg season then they might have a shot. Shane Battier has to play nearly perfect.
for the Jazz to win game 7 they must take Yao's offense out of the game and get Chuck Hayes in foul trouble early (he kills on the REBs) Derek Fisher must not play the last 6 minutes of the game or the Jazz are over.
