Going to be about 30 minutes late tonight, but then I will be ready to hockey.
I'm surprised neither of them fell over with all that padding. That they showed anyways.https://youtu.be/hJYgn8D7VyQ
I rented NBA 2k17 from Redbox. Someone had copied the cover of the disc and pasted it on NBA 2k16. Pretty sure I was punished for my interest in a basketball game.
Edit: the delayed reaction time is nice. I played 5 games and if you knock a puck loose most times they don't get it back and it ends up getting scooped up by the nearest person. It feels a lot more like the beta with guys losing the puck while trying to dangle through two defenseman.HOCKEY ULTIMATE TEAM:
Hockey Ultimate Team™ - Competitive Seasons
Competitive Seasons is a new game mode which allows players to compete in a “monthly” season format to earn in-game rewards. Each monthly season consists of rounds. Complete three games to earn round points which determine your ranking on the Round Leaderboards. At the end of each round, you will earn a reward as well as Season Points that count towards your season total. Finish as high as you can in each round to accumulate as many season points as possible to earn a larger reward at the end of the season.
*NOTE: Rounds and Season durations are subject to change.
GAMEPLAY (Tuner 1.02):
ALL MODES
Player Updates:
• Tuned down puck carrier’s reaction speed to reacquire a puck after losing it.
User Goalie Updates:
• Increased ability to make saves in tight to their body and decreased ability when reaching to reward better puck tracking and cutting off angles.
• Increased ability to make saves on cross grain shots by tuning movement so goalies will stay square even if the user is requesting to move away from the shot direction.
• Increase save success on blocking saves.
• Decreased the impact goalie movement to help promote puck tracking so that good angles and positioning mean the most for a goalie’s ability to make a save.
• Decreased screen effect slightly.
• Increased goalie speed for post-to-post movement.
• Increased AI goalie’s awareness for a possible shot off a faceoff.
• Increased ability to react after a save to increase their chance of getting back in position and making rebound saves.
• Rolled back change from previous patch for the goalie occasionally getting stuck in butterfly as it was causing a worse knock on issue.

• Hybrid goalie now has the best stick side and paddle down rating of the three classes.

What's the book. I want to check it out. They are so sick of it they fined him 10k, but not a single suspenion because they thought it would mess with the All Star Game, that's complete horseshit. They gave John Scott so much bullshit because the NHL didn't think he was an all star (great book that explains it even further actually and the shit the NHL said to him even more so). Yet, don't suspend one of the dirtiest pieces of shit playing hockey right now, because it might affect his All Star Game Status. It infuiriates me. The reffing, the NHL (not the NHLPA), and DoPS has been getting worse everying year.
Thanks. I had read his article on Players Tribune that went up around the all-star game and instantly became a fan. I don't know if it is in the book, but I think it was someone from the Coyotes front office asked him if he thought going to the All-Stars game was something his daughters should be proud of. He stated how he wasn't planning on doing it until they said that and a bunch of other all-star players started telling him that he should go since he put in the same work they did.
Well, yeah...for sure. I soft-modded my Wii and have a bunch of emulators on it too. So, that serves the same purpose. I just mean if you wanted one that actually looks like an NES...at least now the Classic is a reasonable option now that it can hold well over 30 games. I wouldn't ever pay the crazy prices for one...but maybe in like a year or two from now, they'll be common.Or do what I did and build a Raspberry Pi emulator and have ALL the systems for about $60 bucks!! Only thing it runs slow is Dreamcast for some reason.
Damn that's quite the award to Zenimax. It sounds like Luckey and Iribe are responsible to pay $200 millions ($50 mil and $150 mil respectively). The other $300 million would be the responsibility of Facebook unless it was otherwise stated in the purchase that the outstanding liability was to remain with the original party. However, seeing that Facebook lawyers were the ones that represented Oculus, that doesn't seem to be the case.Holy crap...Oculus just lost their lawsuit hard to Zenimax. The jury ruled that Palmer Luckey did break his NDA...and Zenimax was awarded a $500 million judgment. For those who remember, Facebook bought Oculus for $2 billion...so yeah, now they have to give 25% of that away. Not sure what that means for the future of Oculus, but I bet Valve is happy, lol.

Yeah, I can probably play tonight. Hopefully I'll be on by 10-10:30 ET...possibly earlier.Anybody for tonight? I won't be around this weekend. Wife got tickets for the Impractical Joker's live show tomorrow night, Solar Bears Saturday and Superbowl Sunday.
Oh, wow. That's awesome. I really do hope they do it like Payday and give you something after every mission. I mean, it's almost the exact same set up....masks, weapon skins, charms, etc. Either give away the cosmetic stuff or give extra renown so things can be bought more easily.Nate, funny we were talking about this while playing Siege tonight. They are implementing loot crates.

Yeah, it's hard to know. Putting a game in your own world sounds awesome...but it seems like you'd have to have a lot of different places to go and explore so it wouldn't get stale. I mean, I guess you could just go to a park or something. But where are you going to play a corridor shooter? That demo looks awesome. I wonder if VR doesn't take off, if AR will be a viable alternative.
Owie. There goes his team wheel! :lol:Matt Nieto took a Shea Weber slapper off the calf, ouch.

Looks like they're admitting they made goalies too soft. Hopefully this cuts down on all the 5 goals on 9 shots games we've been seeing.Tuner 1.02 Update (Feb. 8th, 2017)
*We are overwriting the 1.02 tuner with revisions to the goalie tuning to better reflect our original goals after community feedback and further testing.
- Increased top end of goalies precision speed
- Increased goalies ability to make saves in tight to their body even more
- Decreased screen effect some more
- Delay tuning on reactionary saves is now less harsh and more forgiving for being slightly out of position compared to the previous tuner.
Ooh, good find. I might actually do that. Amazon gives $16.98 for the standard edition. Not a bad price to get the Year 2 pass and to be able to switch from NHL to R6 instantly when I'm pissed, lol.Tempting, but I don't need the Standard edition. I guess I could trade it in.

I've only used him in a couple games so far, but he seems pretty monstrous. Just the fact of having 99s for everything...it feels like he can do things that are completely out of character for him. He absolutely wrecks people on hits, he beats out icing calls all the time, etc. There was one flip in particular that I thought for sure was going to be icing. Then, all of a sudden Datsyuk comes flying in, so I switch to him, a good 3-4 strides behind the defenseman going back. Datsyuk just flies around him, grabs the puck and I was able to pass it out in front for a one timer goal.Dangit, missed out on R6.
How does Datsyuk play?
