Next Car Game got an update, it now has mult-player. Ran a few races, its pretty cool.

I don't know if you saw this, but it seems the game is going to officially be called Wreckfest. It shows it on the first loading screen, and the exe is actually wreckfest.exe now. I wonder how long it'll be before the name is updated in the Steam database.

And yeah, that Giant Bomb video is hilarious. Markiplier has done some "Impossible Let's Play" videos too, and those are always great. I can't believe Dan beat as many levels as he did. That was pretty impressive.

That looks cool. Pretty smart using the Kinect with it. I was about to say that it would be cool if you could be the goalie too, but then I remembered about the Oculus wire, and that would probably be a bad idea.

I guess if that person planned on buying 3 new'ish games it's not a bad deal for them...but yeah, they've got a much higher buy in before that coupon even becomes equal. They'd have to spend $50 just to break even. Meanwhile, you could have spent $0 and gotten a $25 game for free. Impressive strategery, Rob. You definitely got the moves like Jagr. :applause:

 
I didn't know until last night that there was a UFC fighter named Niklas Backstrom. Be made his UFC debut in May and fought again yesterday.

Also, for Alan (mostly)...Theme Park Studio on Steam apparently got DK2 support today. It's on sale for $19.99 (33% off)...but I was able to get it from my favorite Russian for $9.20, haha. Love global pricing. Now, time to make myself sick.

Yeah, it would have been the greatest thing I've ever seen if the guy KO'd him with an upkick.

In other news, I'm strongly considering selling my Xbox One. Basically, I haven't played one good game for it. And EA just pissed me off even more by releasing a 3.1GB patch for Madden that doesn't fix anything...like having your controls set to not use the camera switching feature on the d-pad and it doing it anyway...or whenever you kick a field goal over 40 yards, the ball just shanks off the side of your foot like you're trying to Matt Young it into the stands. What's even better is that these issues only happen in online franchise...and a month and a half after release, they can't figure out how to patch them.

Other fun things the game does is disconnect for no reason in games with Open NATs and no lag...and sometimes, the game will just skip the play call screen and take you straight to the next play. Or if you're lucky, after a pause, it will take you straight to the next play, but leave the play call screen up...blocking half of the screen.

Next Gen...

If you bought digital Madden, could have gotten a refund.

But, that's how I feel about my gaming pc actually. I have yet to play a game that keeps my attention for more than an hour. I think last time I turned it on and actually played it was a month ago. Just does not interest me anymore and in thinking of selling it.
 
You can get a refund for digital games? Really?

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I just don't think the Xbox One (or PS4 really...but I haven't been following that as closely for a while) has really done anything impressive yet. I mean, it's not technologically advanced in any way, and most of the games have been underwhelming and/or broken.

The only hesitation I have at all in getting rid of it is just the idea that I MIGHT want one again down the road. So, it's like...am I too lazy to follow through with it? haha. But at the same time...if I'm not going to play, UFC, Madden, NHL, etc...what purpose is it serving? I'm torn. But I'm really pissed with EA right now. Seriously, we played a game made by a 16 year old Canadian kid the other weekend that was probably better programmed than most EA games, lol.

I guess people can pretend stuff like that isn't true. But it just drives me up a damn wall.

I now know exactly what Nate meant, but it took me a minute to recall. The term "Matt Youngin' It" was so overused all those years ago by people who know me, and it could basically apply to anything. Can't say I miss it, really.

Haha, we talked about our "sayings" a few weeks ago and how it doesn't even really matter if they're relevant anymore. I mean, we still say we have to "Destro" because of that one time he pee'd into his headset (lol, ewwww). And I have been known to pull a Magicking and miss an open net on many occasions. Some things just stick. At this point, it's almost like a tribute to the fallen, haha ;)
