Official WarHawk Discussion: **Patch 1.5/"Falling Star" OUT!**
Does anyone know if this game can be downloaded on five different PS3s like other downloadable games in the PSN Store?
I somehow doubt it, but you never know

Yo h3ro, your h3ro on TXB too right? I'm NY Lax 4 over there. Yeah it will be able to be downloaded on 5 consoles. Me and 5 TXB'ers are splitting it for $8 each.

This game is going to be awesome until Halo 3. I'm going to wait on price drops for Heavenly Sword and Eternal Sonata.

Hey nyprimus, sorry, but I'm not on TXB. Someone is impresonating me! Glad to hear that we can share this game, I definitely plan on sharing this with a few friends. I'll see you guys on PSN!

PS. My PSN tag is m0nkeyhero

Hey, all. I wanted to extend KUDOS and our thanks to all the Warhawk Public Beta testers out there who contributed to tweaking and balancing the game so it truly becomes a game for the gamers - which is what Incognito’s goal was all along, right Dylan?
With that said, as a nod to the top Public Beta testers and top Public Beta forum posters - take a close look at several of the Warhawks and Nemesis aircraft flying about, you’ll find your names painted on the ships. Congrats. Regrettably we couldn’t put all of your names down, but know that this was meant for all of you.

That is part of Sony's Offical ADs. Very cool they doing stuff like this.

Anyone know when this is going to come to the PSN? I know it'll be the 28th, but what time is it anticipated that it'll show up? I was talking to some guys at work who said they had better voice quality over a wired headset so I may cancel my order and just get it off the PSN (then I won't have to wait for it to ship as well).

I started up a topic for a CAG Warhawk Clan here - if you're planning on getting the game and looking for a good bunch of people to play with come on over!

Couldn't really read the review from the pic they provided, but we will see next week what others think about it.

Meh. People are going to knock Warhawk because it is a "downloadable game". It "lacks" single player, and it "lacks" any story what so ever. So... I'm not surprised.

But if you want to go from word of mouth from a lot of the beta testers that was overly positive, abd who were playing an older version of the game, then it might make it easier to deside if the game is for you or not.

fuck, I was actually contemplating downloading it on Tuesday instead of waiting until Thursday to get it from Target (or GS, whoever gets it first)

I could possibly get my hard copy on monday or tuesday. The latest is thursday. Well that is what the nice lady at Family Video told me when I called today.

This game need to be share ^__^; So 40 bones to download and with 5 people that will come to 8 bucks per person not too bad huh.

Wonder if the people who can't wait and who had planned on getting the PSN version will be tempted to go ahead and pick up the retail because of this.
No, this is for the U.K. Sony is far from being finished.
It's called sarcasm.

It's not sarcasm-- they really, truly are finished this time for real.

anyhoo, this doesn't give me hope for Tekken Online this week. because, as we know, a game company can't make a network release day TOO awesome

I also ordered my copy from them. Would be nice to get it early.

At least the U.S. has more consistent updates.

Yeah you're right, if Tekken came out it would be Tekken, Warhawk, and Puzzle Fighter- all on the same day!

It appears that Sony's multiplayer title, Warhawk, will be getting an early release on the PlayStation Network this week. Set to hit the PlayStation Store on Tuesday at 12:01 AM EST, the digital version of the title will cost gamers $39.99.

Retail outlets will also be selling the Blu-ray disc version of the game this week, which will also ship with a Bluetooth headset, and will cost $59.99. Those who decide to go digital will have a slight edge -- Warhawk ships to retail on Tuesday, August 28, which means most stores won't have it on their shelves until the next day.

The has received mostly positive buzz coming out of the public beta, but at least one magazine (PSM) rated the game average, with a 6.5 out of 10.
would be nice, but i'm gettin the bundle
I'm still split wether to get this or not... I mainly just want the headset, but the game may be fun...

The headset included in the bundle retails by itself for up to 40 bucks. For me, it works as follows:

Headset ($40) + Warhawk ($40) = $80

Think of it as getting the game for 20 bucks. That = FTW.

Yeah, the reason I'm getting the bundle is because of the headset.

I found it for around $30 at the cheapest, with shipping online.

BTW, the UK PSN version is the one delayed until Thrusday.

Are there no B&Ms that have the game on sale? What I'm not liking is that Target and BB are saying that they won't get it in until Thursday and Wednesday, respectively, so I may need to just find a store that will just have it on sale on Tuesday.

I want the bundle because I'd like to have a physical box and extra headset, but I want the game ASA-fucking-P.
one of the better things about getting the box is that it wont eat up HDD space if that means anything to you.
I thought that I heard that it's a fairly small download, around 800 MB, which shouldn't be much of a problem unless you're rocking the 20 GB PS3.

Even then, less space taken means more space for future PSN titles.

Unless you're absolutely starved for space, I don't see why that would be a major concern for anyone, especially for what's expected to be a good game.

Damn, I still wish it was 29.99 instead of 39.99. But now I'm torn between buying a physical copy and just downloading it since it probably won't be till Saturday before I could go to a retail store. Decisons Decisons.

I'm still hoping to get that TRU $39. retail deal. They have not sent me an email yet telling me that it was a price mistake, so i still hope it's on for that price. I will know soon!

Sorry Rolento, that ain't the case:

You're going to use 800MB regardless if it's the download or the box. As posted earlier, a couple guys at work have used their BT headsets with games and found the wired headsets sound clearer; at this point I'm going to download it and use my wired set. I'll be pulling this down tonight!!!!!!
