I agree. There's no chance this is a limited run. Hell, if you wait a year you can probably get a better version.
Yea like how it'll pop up saying battery low etc, same thing should pop up with friends name signing on. Never really thought about that though.
Mine are fine so far but the battery life on the controller is pretty lousy. I hope Sony address both issues soon.
Yes but what timbo was saying (who is actually right for a change) is that there should be an option to turn the light off.
I never had a problem with the lightbar but I can see how others would. I do think Sony will give us the option to turn it off/dim it in the future though. That being said, I did purchase one of the decals for it cause I thought it looked cool haha. I got the Firefly logo from The Last of Us.
I haven't received mine yet but there's a thread over on gaf and people are saying its a huge improvement. Users have also tried it with the camera and it worked so that's a plus.
Assuming the light source is one or a few LEDs, it wouldn't compromise battery life nearly as much as the rumble feature does. Searched a little but couldn't find this info.

If you want to play it on PS4 or Vita, then get it for PS4. It also may be graphically superior depending on your PC.
assuming that guy has never been on cag, if i was in his shoes, i would have just renewed it for a year - tops. my common sense would tell me that sony would catch on for any usual subscriptions.
of epic proportions here for the deal members. i wouldn't want to risk any sort of console ban from Sony. On the brightside, it's better Sony realize this now and fix that then let the glitch go by for years unnoticed.
Whoa, was not expecting that big a gap. I knew the Xbone stalled in Jan but didn't think it would be that bad. Sony is set up to dominate this gen if MS does not drop the Kinect and price. Maybe they can offer some sort of ambassador games ala Nintendo for early adopters if they do.
I'm not at all surprised. Sony has been doing a good job restocking but they haven't been able to keep inventory. Even a couple of weeks ago when most websites got stock, it only took a few days or a week or so and every one of them was sold out again. Meanwhile the XbOne was in stock everywhere all the time. NPD watches sell-through numbers so the adoption rate is way off.
