PriceGrabber $5 Rebate Topic w/ Lists Of Eligible Games (Updated 3/2)

only 1/5 from June is up. I'mma give it a couple days to be safe, then I guess I'll have to get back in touch. Damn postage grumble grumble grumble
 
Am I right in assuming all the rebates have been pulled? I haven't checked every system, but seeing multiple pages of DS games without one rebate is unusual enough.

These still have one. But it IS odd that there are next to none on the site. very odd. Hope they aren't doing away with it.

No, I still see most of the ones I've had on my watch list. To be safe, I requested several more even though I'd normally wait until August 1st to do so (I had wanted a break and was actually going to skip a month but if things might be disappearing, well, then I guess not).

I did just snag one DS game rebate (Retro Atari - now to find a receipt from 3 years ago...). But I've been more inclined to get rebates for DS games first because they run out more quickly. There's still lots of other stuff up there. The only one that is gone that I was not expecting to be gone was Legend of Heroes II for PSP with only 5 reviews. Yet LoH I and III are still up. That is strange.

Sounds like the bonus will be available after first 3 request, but you will only get the bonus if you write the review quick

It must have been a change between July and August, as I have one form from July 24th that shows the "first 25" on it, and anything after that, which is 08/12/08 for the next one I requested, shows "first 3".

Hmm, guess its up in the air if i get any more rebates then - for some I wasn't the first 3 but I suppose they might not have gone for the rebates.
 
It was changed sometime in late July. Probably starting the week of July 27 or something. Because I have few rebates that I requested around July 28 and 29, and they all have the "first 3" already. I just did not notice it till now. Will be getting harder to get those PriceGrabber rebates. :whistle2:|
 
Well, I checked the few post-late July rebates I had and thankfully, there were less than three reviews on each one. I did reviews on those, and hopefully, I'll still be able to get the rebates.

It'll certainly make me check on the number of reviews before requesting the form, and making sure to do the reviews almost instantly if I do get the form, just in-case.
 
I am wondering how they would treat the rebates of certain titles that already has reviews before they changed the conditions, but still had the rebates up after they changed them. Hopefully they counted the reviews after changing of the terms.

If you're requesting a form and the form says it's limited to 3 reviews and there's already 3 reviews up there, two things could happen. They could deny your rebate saying your review wasn't in the first three, or allow your review in if you're the third person or less to send in the form.

My guess is probably the former.
 
what's the link to check the rebate status again? Past 5 ones I submitted never showed up resummitted them but still nothing
 
argh, just had to send a request, as I just noticed 4/5 of my June rebates (or would it be July, as it was mailed at the tail end of June? anywho...) were not up. Also, for some reason, the reviews on 3 of my July (August?) submissions did not post, so the rebates said "no review". Hopefully customer service will be helpful...

I have 3 more reviews that are due before 9/30 which state the terms prior to the new limitation. I wonder if they'll honor it based on when the rebates were requested?

They've gone back and forth on honoring the rebate when the terms change, though that's what you're submitting to them for the $5, and that's what they should honor.

I'd make sure to keep a copy of everything you submit on those three, just in case they get stupid and reject you.

It's been changed to be a valid rebate for the first 3 submissions, not 25, like it used to be. Check back a page or two in this thread and you'll see what I'm talking about.
 
Erk. Who knew that the only game among the three I purchased during TRU's B2G1 wound up being the one that was free. ;; I'm...not going to get 5 bucks back for that, am I?

That won't be a problem, I'm sure I've done a rebate for a game that was free from a B2G1F before and it was never a problem. They are giving you a check for writing a review so how much you paid doesn't really matter.

Looks like I'll have to contact them about 2 resubmits that have disappeared from earlier in the year, 4/5 June submits, and 1/2 from August. The three I got were from June (1) and July (2). Second from August is processing.

I got $75 worth all on one day early last week. Odd, as I usually get checks later than everyone else. I was wondering why no one had posted. It was a full 3 months worth of submissions - June, July, and August.

This looks like the last month for me as well in submitting 5 a month. It's so sad to see my backlog of eligible games shrink to near zero.
 
I got $80 worth of checks last week, that is a lot of backlog, however, I am still missing about 9 of them, especially the ones from January. I tried to e-mail and call them but they do not seem to have clue of how to help me and kept give me the run around. Can someone tell me how I should deal with this? Should I just e-mail them resubmissions?
