QFT, my friend. They already gave us WipEout HD for free... Is P3 FES coming out today?
I think the Escape Plan DLC/patch comes out today for anyone with a Vita. I wasnt going to get Escape Plan but the fact that the dlc is free and is supposed to fix some of the issues with the game means I'll probably buy it after all.
The patch is available now. I'm updating as we speak.

Same here. I'm so glad there's such GREAT deals while these free PS+ codes are active on my account. I'm getting so much use out of the service.
Anyone else really looking forward to the Sour Patch Kids game?
Really? No. But I'm kinda looking forward to checking it out the demo on XBLA tomorrow.
Pretty lackluster deals, at least for me.
Yup. Inferno Pool is not bad for $3 if you're not PS+ and don't already have it for free.

The big "deal" this week is the discount on the GTA IV DLC, which honestly isn't a bad price. But I think GTA IV is already in a lot of people's rearview mirror at this point.

Shank 2 is a good deal.

Besides, I love plus gives me auto downloads at night and cloud game save storage.

Damn I really wish that Konami would put the 2 Castlevania LOS DLC on sale like XBOX did a few weeks ago.

$20 is too much for them.

If Shank 2 was free to keep after it's done, then yeah it'd be a good deal for me. Either that or if they put it on sale for $5(about what I think I paid for the original) while my PS+ is still active, then I'd probably bite. But I haven't even downloaded Shank 2, since I know after June it's no longer mine to keep.

I really hope this isn't the end of the awesome deals and free stuff trend. I just renewed my PS+ last week for another 3 months.

Besides House of the Dead IV, there isn't really anything I'm anticipating at the moment. Hopefully, awesome deals will make it worth it renewing my PS+ account.

By June you will already have played it and be sick of it so it wont matter anyway...dont be grumpy just because you cant trade it in to BestBuy ;)

Why don't you download it now and beat it by the time June comes around? It's not rocket science.

Not really. Right now I'm playing through Dead Island(about 34-35% through the main story already), so I'm pretty engrossed in that. Not to mention I'm trying to finally whittle down my backlog substantially. So IF I played Shank 2 by June it'd be a miracle. Not only that but also the reason I mentioned above(after June I no longer 'own' it).

So to me spending hours(on my connection) to download a game that's over a gig in size and likely has 1-2 patches of half that size or so and then not being able to keep it after June is a waste at this juncture for me.:whistle2:#

But maybe I will set up my PS3 to download it while I watch some tv or something some night. I just hate leaving my system idle when I'm not actually using it.

Its much worse to download those free trials, they take 3-6 hours because they are so huge...not even worth the time to download for a 1 hour trial.

I would never waste my time on those in the first place, since I've found deals on many of the games that have had the trials thanks to CAG for much cheaper than their overpriced digital counterparts from PSN.:booty:

Has anyone bought Pinball Arcade and can confirm you get the PS3 & Vita versions when you buy one or the other? I don't see it mentioned in the description of the game on PSN. TIA
Wait, no extra bonus sale on Wipeout Fury for PS+?
Stupid PS+.
At one point, PS+ gave you Wipeout HD for free....

I got the DLC free from the PSN Welcome back thing.
It's also in the PS Blog that you get both.
Actually what the blog actually states is
The Pinball Arcade is out now on the PlayStation Store . PS3 and PS Vita owners take note: when you purchase the PS3 version, you get the PS Vita version bundled along with it! Running at a buttery-smooth 60 frames per second with eye-popping graphical and lighting effects, this is the perfect pinball game to grab on the go. Future DLC for the game will also be able to be purchased once and accessed on both PS3 and PS Vita.

It's probably nothing but a wording error, but since it doesn't actually say that buying the Vita version gives you the PS3 version for free, I'm playing it safe and buying the PS3 version at home rather than risking not getting the PS3 version by buying the Vita one now while at work.

And speaking of free cross-purchases : Don't forget that by owning WipEoutHD and Fury DLC, you'll be given free WipEout 2048 DLC coming "This Spring". Might be an incentive for some to pick up the bundle while on sale this week.

Bought the Vita version of pinball arcade and got both. Downloads the vita version sticks the demo version and the full game unlock in your download list for the PS3.

Picking it up now, I think I am going to think a little longer about if I want episodes from liberty city. I might just end up passing on it.

That's exactly what that says, so I'm not sure how you're getting that it's not saying that. If you still don't believe me:

One purchase gets you both games.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/04/05/the-pinball-arcade-hits-ps3-and-ps-vita-on-april-10th/

The Pinball Arcade will offer players the ability to buy our game (and any DLC tables) once and own it on both the PS3 and PS Vita versions!

Okay, thanks for clarifying that.

The quote I posted said if you buy the PS3 version, you get the Vita version free Nothing about vice-versa.
Those do clarify it further. Thanks.

Browsing new releases, etc... Pinball Arcade... Future additions... ATTACK FROM MARS?!

This will ultimately offer my favorite pinball machine of all time? Hello, suddenly I'm interested.
Okay, thanks for clarifying that.

That's how the entire concept of buy one get it on both works, which I why I posted that in the OP with the update. I would not have done so if it didn't work that way.

Not sure if this was mentioned but this issue of Qore has a free download inside it, with a bunch of simple arcade games. "Qore Ultimate Arqade 2012"
When is the Doctor Who game coming out? I been waiting for it forever.
They said April, but BBC still hasn't come out with an official release date. With only 2 more store updates this month, I'm wondering if we're going to be looking at May. I'm waiting for it, too. Then again, if they're working on polishing it up and squashing the lingering bugs, I'd rather they delay it another month instead of putting it out broken with a patch in the works like so many developers are doing these days.
I would never waste my time on those in the first place, since I've found deals on many of the games that have had the trials thanks to CAG for much cheaper than their overpriced digital counterparts from PSN.:booty:
That's true. I had that argument with my coworker over a year ago. He mentioned how downloading games is a better option instead of buying the game from a retail store. He mentioned how it was more convenient to have that game installed in your hard drive etc. I mentioned almost all games go on sale from time to time, and you can get a better deal than you would if you bought a digital copy. Most people don't have big hard drives i.e. 1TB drives. It's not a computer, it's a console. Let's take Catherine for example. Digital copy = $40, New copy was $29.99. It was recently on sale used at Gamefly for $14.99. There might be a sale for that game in the future for the digital copy, but it will never hit the $14.99 price.

After I explained my points, I left it at that. Maybe it's convenient, but I'd rather wait and scour through the CAG forums to find a better deal instead of paying full price for a digital download....

Hell yes, that machine kicks ass. I still play the one close by to me in NY often, and it just rules.
So does the Montezuma game have trophies?
Wondering the same and also why is it free... ads or spyware installed?

Played a bit of Treasures of Montezuma Blitz and can confirm for those that didn't believe me that it has no trophies. The limits on play time don't seem to be that bad since I took a break for a minute or two and had a heart already return, so it's a good game for that quick pick-up fix while you're doing other things.
That explains why that PS+ benefits graphic shows early demo access instead of early Qore access now.

So PS+ members basically lost a digital magazine subscription while regular PSN members are penalized with delayed demos.:whistle2:|
Oh no, what a fuckin travesty.

I never understood why they had both Qore AND Pulse which was always free. I won't miss Qore, when Veronica Belmont left as host, there really was no more reason to be interested in Qore. Her replacement with the well meaning, but inferior Jessie made it clear that Qore wasn't gonna last much longer.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 - Serah's Outfit Style and Steel - Free
God dammit, now that I've beat the game they give out free DLC. That and the Assassin's Creed outfit is awesome, but totally not worth $3 lol.

How the hell do you find this stuff anyway? Good thing I check this thread because you'd have to dig through the store to notice subtle additions like that.
