Well I up'd the tab and checked out at 11:58pm

I spent $250 so I'm getting $50 back. 

Got Batman Origins Blackgate and Mega Man 4 (to complete my Mega Man 1-4 PSOne collection) to get to that threshold. 

Was thinking of going to $300 and get Killzone Mercenary but gonna hold off on it. Maybe it'll go on sale on Black Friday. Physical or Digital.

Damn I checked out my last purchase Pupeteer to complete $200 (total for the whole week) but that was around 5pm EST.

It still showed the $10 PRomo in one of the banners so i decided what the heck. Now im regretting it....ughhh :(

Are you upset about the money you spent or that you don't think you qualified for that last $10 credit? Because if you checked out by 5pm EST then by all accounts you're fine.

Yeah I figured the promo ended earlier in the day and the promo banners just hadnt refreshed.

Hoping to get my $10 credit for the last $50 i spent. Crossing my fingers, hope you guys are right about it still qualifying. Thanks for the info.

Up to $100 credit. So that makes it a limit of $500.

And I forgot to mention that I also used my Playstation Credit Card. I get 10x Sony Reward points purchasing PSN content.

I got Killzone Shadow Fall pre-order for PS4, hoping that will be the one good title to be released along with the PS4 .... And RE4 HD. Still a bit mad I missed RDR: Undead Nightmare for $5 due to the stupid PSN early update. But well, I am sure I wouldnt play it any time soon. You cant have anything I guess.

Just over $150. Started a new job at the end of September and I'm putting more money in the bank than I have for the last few years. Not sure I'll pick up any discs when I get my PS4, but wanted something beyond Resogun and Contrast to play with, figured this promo was a good opportunity.

They're going to have to have some incredible deals to get anything out of me between now and Nov 15th though. (I might still pick up Siren . . . but probably not. Lack of trophies shouldn't matter, but it's just that little extra incentive that gets me playing my PS3 more than my PC these days).

Picked up Fatal Frame. Very similar to Silent Hill and classic Resident Evil, so I wouldn't call it a must play. Decent enough so far though after a couple hours. Also, it took me a couple hours to get the title of the game - Fatal Frame, because you use a camera to kill ghosts. Haha...I get it.

I'm also waiting to hear next month's PS+ titles because I bought Remember Me for $20 recently, and I know it's going to be free for EU. I'd like to know if I can open it or not...

So I am hearing that at least the 360 version of BF4 is pretty much utterly broken. Is the PS3 version any better? It's things like spawning BELOW the map. Freezing the console when waiting for a match. Not being able to get into games or getting into games and no one else is there. Etc.

Kristine (the new chick in charge of plus) said that they're trying to get in the habit of announcing it a little earlier, like the week before. I think we'll see November's announcement tomorrow or Friday.

Whether or not that will include the refresh of the Vita games, we don't know. June's monthly update didn't mention the refreshed PS3 games, but it did confirm that the 3 old evergreen titles were leaving.

 
Yeah, the weekly Plus announcement is on Monday, but the monthly announcement is the week before. Probably Friday, but it's mentioned in the comments from the Plus preview on Monday, look for comment #33.



I forgot they've been actually doing the monthlies on Fridays now. That's what I get for trying to be fancy and funny.

kind of suprised they made a heavenly sword animated movie, seems like god of war would have been the obvious choice. Regardless I'll watch it...lol

 
So, here's some rumor fodder.  When you purchase digital Puppeteer (as a number of you have), it has the cross buy 'Choose a version' button (like Sound Shapes has for example) on the page instead of the 'Download to PS3' button.

Hey rpg, you're a trophy guy. Have they announced if the format of trophies is going to change at all for PS4 games? Like, maybe more digital games are going to have platinums or maybe they're increase the total trophy counts on PS4 games? Anything like that? Have any PS4 games trophies been revealed, specifically PS4 exclusives?

sneaky or not, I've been sitting on a pile of sony rewards points from all those silly 'watch a trailer' type things forever and today I waltzed in and just picked up psn $ codes no hassle without having a sony card. I'm happy.

So if I have a playstation credit card and put $50 into my sen wallet I get 10x points. Do i then get 1x points for buying stuff from my sen wallet on psn with a linked account?

Total was $105. The last few were after midnight EST but before midnight PST so hopefully it all counts even though the last few show as 10/30/13 on my download list. Thrilled with the promotion and the sales. Most I've spent on PSN in one month by far.
 
How is that sneaky? That's like saying a store is sneaky for putting a game on sale after a B2G1 promo.



By saying it was sneaky, I was mimicking all the whiners in the blog post comments section. I think it was smart of them to announce the new link after the promo from a business perspective.

As someone excited to pick it up day 1, I read the whole thing. No big surprises. I am annoyed that it won't read audio CDs, though. It's not something I would use all of the time, but seriously how hard is it to add this feature?

I'm still annoyed at the lack of AC wireless. That's not a feature that makes sense to leave out when consoles have a lifecycle of over ten years.

I'm actually surprised at how excited I got for this after watching the trailer. I didn't even know that Anna Torv voiced Nariko in the original game (Fringe FTW!), so it's cool to have her back. Also, I loved the game (it was one of the first games I really enjoyed on my launch 60GB PS3) and was really disappointed it didn't turn into a full-fledged franchise.
