Makes sense since XBox price has dropped also. So wish I had waited on this since the theme w/purchase sucked and I would have rather saved the $2 by waiting.

Awesome news for me about Hotd3, as a new owner of a PS Move. At $5 on release day, I'll buy it for sure. I honestly think competitive price points in the digital industry may be the way to go for a lot of publishers. Game looks like it hasn't been touched up at all, which kind of sucks.

Also, that's cool that you got a press release Frisky. Do you work in the games industry? Or is it something that is just sent to you sometimes? (Sorry to pry, feel free not to answer if you don't want to. :))

I remember when the hype was killing me when I thought Killzone 1 was hitting psn a couple weeks back. It was tweeted about on the official killzone twitter for a jan 24th release. Jan 24th came and went and killzone 1 was never added. The tweet was removed and I'm still in pain from that horrible update.

Ouch that sucks. They've definitely been tight-lipped about KZ1. Plenty of commentors on the Blog have asked as well, to no avail.
 
This will be one of those days PSN updates at like midnight since I'm watching it like a hawk. Gimme my Simpsons! I've waited 20 damn years for this day, don't make me wait any longer!
 
I spent so many quarters on the Simpsons arcade back in the day to play as Lisa. I thought the jump rope gave me a tactical advantage. Great game lol.
 
sometimes they update at 7pm est. but not always. you may be able to search for these items at 7pm, then have to wait another 2 hours just to find the sale prices active etc.

That is how I got some of the game a bit early last week :).
 
I usually don't think these arcade game ports are worth their initial asking price, but $7/5 for a House of the Dead game is definitely worth it IMO. Something tells me though that you won't be able to unlock House of the Dead 2 in HOTD 3.

I always thought the same way too. No one ever hardly played as marge though unless it was only her or her and homer.

Lisa and bart were always the most popular in my area though.
 
i know there is a SEN terms agreement we have to agree to tomorrow, but hoping firmware updates take a break. other then mw3, that needs a patch to fix that patch a few days ago that sent everything fubar asap!

Ah what the heck. I managed to get all the new Uncharted 3 Skins on my gameshare account, but it keeps saying i cant access the Co-Op Adventure DLC.
 
I had to search "simpsons" on the PSN store, It found it and since im a PS+ member it let me download a full game unlock, as like it did with some of the SF games last month.

Searched for simpsons and got it. Less than a minute to download! Awesome free game and only 21 MB Cool beans.

For you tech heads, how is the game available when you type in a search but not showing anywhere else at all?

I'm not a huge tech head, but it's easily summed up by "Sony sucks at times."
 
I don't think that is it at all. What it is I think is they add the items one by one, like usual and then they organize the store when they know everything is working properly.

It's because they haven't updated the front end so that it appears on the store front. Just like how you can redownload stuff in your downloads list that has since been taken off of the store, but they're still on the servers for people access it.

You usually have 1-2 weeks to download them. But you can use them for as long as you are a PS+ user. You can also redownload them any time you want as long as you have PS+.

Anywhere between 1 week and 1 month. Don't quote me, but I think Simpsons is for the whole month. And I'm pretty sure FarCry 2 next week is only for 1 week.
 
The real steal of a deal is the Giraffe game 'mini" free for PSN+. Reminds me of doodle jump and my two year old loves it. Ok, Simpsons and FF5 are tons better, but this is a great free mini.
