I think I've refreshed the blog page about 2,000 times in the past hour. Why are they doing this to me? This is the one bright spot in my dark life. I'm just going to sell everything and move over to Microsoft!

well, its 12:13 est. Looks like they just kinda made it. ugh stupid late updates.

on a positive note, cant wait to get my vita and try out all the great content on the store!

especially cant wait to download:

the unit 13 demo,
the netflix app,
and the ar games!
Amazon does not sell them anymore
Crap.
And they usually don't let you use credit on codes.
Double crap. Oh well. Score one for Best Buy then, since they let me use RZ certificates on PSN cash before.;)

I might get these since my PS+ subscription is ending soon:
Drive Me Crazy Racing Bundle (Crazy Taxi and SEGA Rally Arcade) : $9.59 on PSN+, $11.99 on PSN (was $19.98)

Sonic Rivals 1 and 2: $9.74 on PSN+, $12.99 on PSN (was $19.98)

best buy let me use a $100 RZ cert on price matched $18 psn cards. I grabbed 6 psn cards for $108. Sometimes they are a great store, sometimes they drive me mad.

charging me tax on my unlocked membership, lol.

Got what I wanted, Hamilton's Great Adventure and HotD3.

Lots of cool bundles put up on the store, but I don't think I'll get any. Also, a decent THQ sale. Darksiders for $9.99 is a great deal.

For ps+ members:

Is it better to "buy" or checkout with the sega collection bundle or to add each of the sega games separately and checkout that way? Any advantage to doing it one way over the other?

(The reason I ask is that the store doesn't allow you to add both the bundle and games at the same time.)

Ya, I noticed that as well. I personally don't see any benefit to adding all 6 games to your cart and checking out that way, but maybe there is something I am missing.

I -believe- if you've previously bought any of the games in the bundle, it won't let you get them bundled. I could be wrong, though.

It doesn't matter. You download everything separate and the games are listed in you history as separate. So the bundle is just a wrapper for getting all the games at once, eveything is still separate.

Not to be rude, but it's free, so I don't know why you didn't just add the bundle and find out for yourself.

I'm pretty sure I've downloaded all of these as free PSN+ offers before and it let me get the bundle. I'm not sure though so I could've been missing a title or two. I always grab the free stuff even if I don't want it so that it's added to my account history just in case I want it later.

Dang. A few things I'm not feeling about Streets of Rage 2: They only give a few 'continues' and you can hit your partner(don't remember that part from a 1,000 years ago)! Ugh! I gotta get better.

However, it's SOOOOO fun with online co open!!!!!!!!:D

Hamilton looks very cool, but I'd like to know if there were any plans to release the Retro Fever dlc on PSN. Otherwise I'll wait for it to go on sale for Steam.

I bought Hamilton for $2.50, I'll probably try it out tonight and post impressions. From the demo, seemed like a decent puzzler. The $2.50 price point sealed the dea.
How is Crazy Taxi?
It's ok, it's just the same Crazy Taxi with different music. I thought the challenges were kind of stupid but the regular gameplay is still fun.

They couldn't get the licensing for the original music? Eh. That's what makes some of these games what they were. It's like trying to watch the show Married......With Children without the Frank Sinatra version of Love & Marriage as the opening theme(which I tried to last night on Crackle.com) and just going 'wtf is this shit?'.

FYI: The opening 'theme' they replaced L&M with for MWC is just crap, utter and complete garbage btw.

What store did you pm? I don't see a card sale in the sunday ads thread.
What store did you pm? I don't see a card sale in the sunday ads thread.
Toys R Us had them for $18 a few weeks back, I'm guessing that's what he's referring to.

I know there was the 14.something 1 year PS+ cards at target late last year. Though I haven't heard about any good prices on PSN cards, ever. Plus the PS+ thing was a misprint and stopped working later on, not to mention became invalid after that week.
How is Crazy Taxi?
The PSP game is good and has custom soundtrack support so you can fix the soundtrack situation if that's your thing.

I only tried the demo of the XBLA version of the newer version and the controls felt off to me, so it's not good at all if the controls aren't up to snuff with the DC/PSP versions.

Whoops sorry I thought he meant this week.

Yeah, I got lucky and picked 4 of the PS+ cards to sell/trade, but I am going to buy my 1st DLC, so I need a points/money card. I will have to keep an eye out for a sale.

So what version of CT is this? Is it the original Dreamcast or Arcade version or is it upfgraded at all? Is it PSP only or is there a Ps3 version? Im guessing if there is a Ps3 version it does not have custom soundtracks? Thanks bro.

If I'm not mistaken, Crazy Taxi is actually a port of the PC version. (quite a few of the recent SEGA re-releases are actually PC ports if memory serves...so like ports of ports of ports in some cases [Arcade->Dreamcast->PC->XBLA/PSN])

I don't know which version they ported it from, but it includes Crazy Taxi and Crazy Taxi 2.

There is no PS3 version.

They made Crazy Taxi for the PS3, which is on sale along with Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars for the PSP.

I liked the Voltron demo, so getting that and the DLC for the original price is a good deal right???
Seriously the reviews were so bad but I enjoyed it... I'm looking for someone to talk me into it.

Apples to Apples Complete Pack - $9.99 - Includes Game + DLC - Temporary Sale
Voltron: Defender of the Universe Complete Pack - $9.99 - Includes Game + All DLC - Temporary Sale

Do we know for sure that these bundles are temporary? I was thinking about Apples to Apples, but since it isn't any cheaper than the standalone game (it just adds the DLC for free) I was going to wait around to see if these bundles may end up taking a price cut in the future.

I usually skip over it on the DVDs; I think it started with the season 3 release. But you could always play L&M on your PC and mute the show during the credits

OK. Found that when I create a custom match, I can have it start out with 8 lives.

I read somewhere (probably in this thread or on CAG at least) that if we buy Super Stardust Delta now Sony/AT&T will just give us a $10 credit when they give you your free game for signing up for a month of 3G. Any creedence to that? I'm thinking about scooping up the game bundle with its DLC since I only have Little Deviants to play.
