This is an assumption and incorrect. The following is a quote of Pierre Gravereau's response to post number 62 here on the PlayStation Blog:

Spring Fever kicks off tomorrow! Get ready to buy the PSN GCA 2011 winners starting tomorrow Tuesday March 7th. It is a limited time offer though. It will only last through March 14th to all PSN users (+ one more week on sale to PS PLUS subscribers only).
Just wait, it'll go on sale sooner or later, probably even during the Spring Fever sale.

Assuming there's not a sale in one of the Spring Fever weeks, I probably will too.
The other nominees will not be on sale during the Spring Sale. The following is a quote of Pierre Gravereau's response to post number 29 here on the PlayStation Blog:

Sorry but the other nominees won’t be on Sale during Spring Fever. Only the PSN GCA 2011 winners will. That said, you will able to find a couple other good games on sale each week of Spring Fever (ending 4/12). Those won’t be the PSN GCA 2011 nominees though. Stay tuned to know Spring Fever full line up of games very soon…

Dam i think I'm going to get PSN+ so i can save on both games. I watched a dead nation video and i gots to have it.
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011...ice-awards-are/comment-page-1/#comment-529747

They confirm that Spring Fever will last for five weeks, so there are four more weeks of deals and new releases until it's over.
Cool. This is why I've decided to hold off on PJ Shooter 2. If it doesn't get a discount during the Spring sale, I'll go ahead and pay full price. Thanks for the update Frisky.
PSN+ sucks. The deals are minor and you don't get to keep anything when you unsubscribe. There's no benefit, it's better to pay the couple dollars you save to keep games for good. Hell even the freebies are just games we bought a year or two ago.

It's disappointing if you fell for the scam, but oh well.
Wow, you are one ignorant motherfucker. Didn't your parents teach you that it's impolite to talk with your mouth full of shit?

fudge nooooo... was sure pac man would go on 50% off sale... i swear if microsoft could but back their version of pac man on sale, i'd join live gold, get my free game mailed and get pac man... I crave it soooooo bad.. but not $10 bad :'(
I'll wait for Ghost of Sparta to eventually hit a $9.99 price point.
You'll be waiting a long time then. The God of War games keep their value. The first PSP game, Chains of Olympus, is still $20 New/$18 Used at most places despite coming out in 2008. Hell, the PS2 games only dropped after the God of War Collection came out, and even then they're still holding at $10-$15.

Just hope for the $19.99 price tag cause, even with the NGP right around the corner, that's probably the best you're gonna get for a long time.

Nah, PSN does sales on games like that when they hit the $19.99 retail price point. With the NGP coming out soon, I won't have to wait too long.
Glad I've held off on Castle Crashers...Glad I'm a PS+ member.

Question - Has anyone purchased ore than one year from the PSN store?
Where can you find the expiration date for the end of your membership?
I'm contemplating extending my PS+ by purchasing the 1yr + 3 months free.
Has anyone else done this?

I love PS+ thus far...WAY more than I expected.
Yup. You can extend your membership for 15 months if you buy now.

In for Dead Nation and Castle Crashers for half price with my Plus discount. Honestly, not sure why people pay full price for these PSN games when it seems like a lot of the good stuff has either been free or discounted at some point.

I mean if you're really into supporting a small developer or just simply can't wait to play a game, I guess that makes sense of why you'd pay full price. But to me, these PSN games are just like the retail games I buy. I can wait months, even a year or so until they drop in price. I've got a big enough backlog to keep me busy in the meantime.
When is Dead Nation suppose to be on sale? (I thought it was today but I keep looking and still see it for 14.99)
I don't know, but even if it is today, it won't be until later this evening when the store gets updated

I was hoping for Pac-Man too, but I don't own any of the games on sale and have PSN+ so I might pick up Dead Nation and Castle Crasher. I don't know why, since I haven't played any games since I started school.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/03/08/spring-fever-is-back-on-playstation-network/

Here are some of the games that will be on sale during Spring Fever (50% off all games):

Eat Them! - $4.99
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light - $7.49
Tetris - PS3 - $4.99
Top Darts - $4.99
Savage Moon: Hera Campaign - PSP - $4.99
Worm’s Battle Island - PSP - $12.49

One PS3 and one PSP game will be on sale each week, so we're missing just two PSP games to have a full list.

Also, Shift Extended, a Mini, will be on sale for $1.99 (50% off) this week.

Tetris is pretty good. I think it's definitely worth five bucks if you've ever enjoyed a classic Tetris game.

I would have taken Pacman too but DN was more expensive so I voted for that. I have a couple from the PS3 and PSN categories. Couldn't care less about PSP and mini's. Luckily the games that won were games I didn't have yet.

Sweet, Tetris will be on sale? I've been wanting that but not for $10. Strange how I can keep buying and playing that game but I can. Ha.
Yeah, Stacking sure is old as hell.
How much did you pay for that on XBL again?
Rofl, as if I'd even own a 360 and pay for that moronic service. I don't pay extra to play online. It's either free or nothing.

Stacking is on sale already?
Do you think Dead Nation will drop further than $10.50 anytime soon?
It's 7.50 if you are a Plus subscriber....
Do you think Dead Nation will drop further than $10.50 anytime soon?
No way. I waited long enough for ANY sale, and I'm certainly going to jump at the opportunity this time. Can't wait to finally play it.

Do games in the PSN store normally get reduced once they become Greatest Hits? Any idea how long it takes after the physical version of the game gets its MSRP changed?

Ummm... am I crazy or is 10.50 not a very good deal for castle crashers, or does this include the expansion data?

I would recommend Castle Crashers for $10.49, and $7.50 for PS+ users. This game has given me a huge amount of value for my money/funny money(MS Points). I bought it full price on both systems, and have purchased all of the DLC (except for the King Pack on XBL, which was given to me from none other than The Behemoth {they are a great company that gives back to their fans whenever possible}).

I guess you could call it a button mashing RPG with humor in line with Comedy Central and better artistic styling than most products out there. This is all subjective of course, if you have the ability, DL the demo and see for yourself. If not there are plenty of videos online so you can make your own conclusions.
Ummm... am I crazy or is 10.50 not a very good deal for castle crashers, or does this include the expansion data?
tis why i jumped on getting 3 months of psn+ saved $5 alone so PSN+ cost me $13 for 3 months
Ummm... am I crazy or is 10.50 not a very good deal for castle crashers, or does this include the expansion data?
Gden..........the only DLC for CC on the PS3 right now is the Pink Knight, which is like $2 I think. The game is $15, so the sale price is 30% off?, not a bad deal in my opinion for a top notch product. Still high for many folks maybe, but I think you will find many people to testify that it is well worth $15, let alone on sale for $10 and change. Like I said in my previous post though, check out the videos if you are on the fence.

They don't throw in the DLC as far as I know. If I recall correctly the proceeds from the Pink Knight DLC goes towards Breast Cancer research.
tetris HD right?

@ Lottagames, you could of voted for pacman anyway because it was in a different category than DN.
I'm not seeing the Tetris sale. Dang.

I also voted for Crashers. I'd save more voting for a $15 game than a $10.

It'll be on sale sometime in the next four weeks during the rest of Spring Fever.

flOw is on sale on Amazon for $2.99 right now.

Noticed a few other sales on Amazon while looking around:

http://www.amazon.com/Hothead-Games-UP4049-Braid-Online/dp/B002YGS98S/

Braid is on sale for $9.95.

http://www.amazon.com/Puzzle-Quest-Challenge-Warlords-Online/dp/B002YGS90G/

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords is $9.99 and also includes the expansion.

http://www.amazon.com/Monster-Hunter-Freedom-Unite-Online/dp/B0047Y09H4/

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for the PSP is $14.99. I thought this was supposed to drop to $9.99 due to be put on the PSP Favorites line, but it's ~$19 on Amazon for the UMD version right now.

I am disappointed with Castle Crashers $10+ regular psn user price. Instead of drinking the kool-aid, buying psn plus just to get the "real" discounted price...I end up just not buying it at all. :bomb:

Best Buy had a display a week ago saying that it had dropped to $10 along with the rest of the games. I couldn't find any in stock in the store and it wasn't on the website, but if you can find it at BB it should be $10.

Couldn't pass up Dead Nation for 7.50 and what an awesome game. PS Plus has been SO worth it for me.

Guardian of Light is well worth it's full price, so at 50% off, it's a steal!

Yeah, seems like if the stores had any units to drop to $9.99, it wasn't much. GameStop's website has new copies priced at $14.99, so it's not just Amazon that has weird prices.

This game is currently $7.99 in the PSN store.

Amazon currently has it listed for $2.99.

I've been waiting to pick this up for cheap after getting it for free last year. For some reason the free download last year didn't save to my PSN download history and I couldn't download it again after sending my 60gb in for service.

Anyone else in the same boat or those that missed it free altogether, this is a steal for this game.

Well worth the $2.99.
