+1 on both counts. I'm glad to see a PSN sale thread. I'm constantly waffling and often skipping sales due to PS+ fear of the sale item going free but I still like being tempted to buy stuff. I get just a little bit of cash in my wallet and it burns like a thousand suns in my pants pocket. STILL waffling on flOw. If it weren't for the fact I could always play it on my friend's PS3 I would probably have bitten by now. It is a fun game so the dev should get my money. Even if it's a token sum.

Speaking of, what's the word on Dead Nation? Curious about it and there's no demo. Should I just pick it up or wait until it gets a demo?

What you haven't brought dead nation its only the best game on PSN and castle crashers. I brought 3 months of + and dead nation and castle crashers lots of fun:bouncy::booty::D

had flow when it was free didn't stick to account lost when blu-ray laser got repaired thought it was just mehhh boring anyway. Not worth $7.99 barely worth $2.99 when + members can get AAA games for $7.50 the only reason id even re want flow would be to finish 100% because not so much for trophy whoring but i brought the Flow DLC and because i didn't own the full version i could never install it.

Yea was thinking about getting both Dead Nation and Castle Crashers. Already have the latter on 360 but I could easily play through it again. Kinda wish there was a demo for the former as the reviews I've seen are luke warm on it. Really not that into zombies except for rare cases like Dead Rising (have #2 but have yet to play it though). So the appeal is more or less that it seems to be popular and typically games are popular for a reason. Though I really couldn't care less about 95% of FPSs.

I had forgotten flOw had some DLC. I think that will clinch the pass for me. It's an interesting game for sure (worth playing if you haven't-especially if you are into weird or different games) but I don't think it's a must have since I've already played it.

So I just got a PSN message stating "Did you know you have $$$ sitting in your wallet you haven't used in 6 months?" Haha, no I didn't Sony, thanx for the reminder. I may have to pick up Dead Nation as I've heard multiple people claim it's a very overlooked lil gem.

Thanx Frisky and all those that positively contribute to this and the PSN thread over on the ps3 forum

I bought both Castle Crashers and Dead Nation for this sale. Good deals, haven't started DN yet, but CC is loads of fun.

I also downloaded Flow when it was free for one day a while back, but could not get into it either. I found it got boring quick and I never went back to it.

Kinda sad I missed out on Flow, although the controls being six-axis and not thumb sticks did downgrade it a bit for me. Will defiantly grab Guardian of Light.

The LBP Pirates Promo Pack is gone. Too bad I would have snagged that. Love LBP costumes! I was looking through the LBP PSN shop and I couldn't help finding it funny that the Invisible Woman's costume is a broken image for me atm. How apropos.

Just got a $50 PSN card and am still on the fence about Castle Crashers and Dead Nation. I want to buy these but I still have the inkling that DN will go free in the future. I think I'm safe with buying CC though. I'll decide by the end of the night.

A 2 year old baseball game for $25? Sorry, that's not a deal.

The LBP Pirates Promo Pack is gone.

You may want to check the Trading Boards. I found the Pirates codes there about a year ago for only $2.

@Frisky- I threw a vote your way. It was close with EastX, but you basically running your own gaming news site on the PS3 boards pushed it in your direction.

This thread has become a bit of a masterpiece. Way to stay on top of things. Looking forward to today's new deals.

I don't promise great deals, just discounts of any kind that are below the standard price.

One PS3 and one PSP game each week. This week's games are listed above (Eat Them! & Savage Moon: Hera Campaign), so those are on sale for one of the next three weeks.

Decided to bite on Castle Crashers. Did the PSN store change it's policies on tax? I didn't get charged any this time. Not that I'm complaining. I'm just curious.

I just don't feel that Sony wants my money with this sale. I'm not crazy about any of these things so far.

I guess I'll be waiting for Tetris and Top Darts.

Excellent work with the update again Frisky.

Haha, i was about to phone a few friends. Just kidding

its just one friend.

Anyways, Im waiting on Tetris and anything LBP DLC. Im guessing Tetris will be $5?

I think it's recommended you stack them anyway, because don't you lose your stuff if it expires? I have it, but I've not let it expire yet.

I'm assuming PS+ auto-renews. Right? I've just been keeping ~$50 on my PSN account so it'll just take the renewal fee out of the account. Will the cards currently printed always have a bonus 3 months (assuming they do now? not sure how it works I've never noticed the cards indicating a bonus on them or not) or do they have to be redeemed to have the bonus?

How often do they have sales on PSN for the Resident Evil games?

So sad I missed Resident Evil Director's Cut last week due to being on a cruise :(

PS+ does auto renew when your sub is up if you don't have enough on your account it charges your credit card tied to the account (unless you cancel the service). The cards wont have the 3 month bonus, this is I think just a limited time offer if you sign up now.

I'm pretty sure you can shut off the auto renew by going into the account options.

I've had it for three months and my sub is almost up but I think I've gotten a nice amount of stuff from it so I'll renew it for 15 months.

I'm debating getting Feeding Frenzy 2 from Amazon...my daughter enjoys the trial. Although, I keep thinking since this title is so old, it will go on sale on PSN or XBLA.

This may not exactly be a deal, but Sony's offering a means of donating ($2, $5, $10, $20, and $50 options) to the American Red Cross in the PS Store under New Releases in the Aid Japan section. For donating, you'll get the theme below in return for helping out.

It’s been over a week since the devastating earthquake and tsunami hit Japan, inflicting serious loss of life and leaving hundreds of thousands homeless. The Japanese people, together with support and compassion from the global community, are beginning what will be a long recovery process.

Sony Computer Entertainment’s headquarters are located in Tokyo, and so we’ve heard firsthand of the disaster’s impact from our colleagues and friends. As we here in America watch the tragic events that continue to unfold, you might be left thinking, “Is there any way I can help?”

Sony Group is aiding the recovery through financial contributions and donations of radios, batteries and other equipment that can be used in the relief efforts. Today we’re making it possible for you to contribute directly to the earthquake and tsunami recovery efforts through a medium you’re already quite familiar with – the PlayStation Network.

You can make donations in the amount of $2, $5, $10, $25 and $50 from your wallet in the PlayStation Store. With your donation, you’ll get a free theme for your PlayStation 3. In order to make a donation, go to the “Aid Japan” area under the New Releases category on the PlayStation Store.

It’s important to note that your contributions will go directly to the American Red Cross – Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Fund. Every penny donated will go to the fund, which supports emergency relief and recovery efforts, including deploying personnel, sending relief supplies and providing financial resources.

Many gamers in particular feel a special bond with Japan, even if they’ve never traveled there personally. Its ingenuity and innovation have shaped our industry, and its culture and style have brought a sense of community across the world.

Please join us now in helping the Japanese people during this great time of need. Together we can have a significant impact on the relief process.

There's a potential PS+ deal out there for non-subscribers, as I got an email about getting a free code for Red Faction Battlegrounds if I subscribed by 3/25. This isn't a general offer, so you have to get the email about it to be eligible.

I thought I'd add that the 3 month bonus is still available. It's $49.99 for 15 months.

It says that you'll get Battlegrounds free when it releases on April 5. Couldn't that just be one of the April offers for all PS+ members?

Dang, my friend wants to sign up and I'm sure he would give me the code if he got one. Any way to get on the list for this email? Or is it too late? :(

Ah thanks Friksy. I was a Day 1 subscriber so I naturally didn't get the email. I've already got my preferences set up right. Got into the rewards beta through it.

I bet they'd give it to you if you called and said you were thinking about signing up when you heard about this offer. It wouldn't hurt to try.

Thanks I'll definitely give it a try if my friend decides to sign up. He just bought his PS3 for full retail 2 days ago. I could wring his neck! He's so loose with his money and I'm always trying to protect him from wasting it. Too late now. That's what $80 I could have saved him($50 gift card/price reduction and sales tax of ~$30(gotta love Amazon))? Ah well. Can't say I don't try!
