PS3 only. But there is a separate PSP version. The PS3 version uses the SIXAXIS which is why it isn't cross-compatible

If you guys think this game is anything over average, you should stop getting all your games from the bargain bin.

I got it for free, and it still sucks. I got 100% of the trophies just to show how awesome I am though.
 
I'd say it's more art than game. I wouldn't say it sucks, I just don't think most of today's gamers appreciate these types of games.

They really took it to a new level with Flower though. It's also game as art but it's also a lot more fun to "play"

I'm an idiot for not jumping on the $10 PSN deal for Monster Hunter, but at least Amazon had it for $15.
 
@OP - I think most items you get for free during promotions do not remain in your history for re-download. I usually grab the free anime title over in the video section every week and none of the ones I have grabbed in the past are still in the history.

I also grabbed Flow when it was free and it isn't in my history either, so it must be something with the promotional offers.

I am going to grab this for $2.99. I liked it about as much as Flower. Unlike Flower, I can play this for awhile because it doesn't seem to have defined levels. Flower I usually only replay a level and then quit.
 
Personally I thought the game was rather mediocre but a lot of my friends seemed to enjoy it. I would buy it again at $2.99 in a heart beat, highly recommended at this price.

As a gamer, when I see a good deal on a game, the intention is to let other gamers know of the deal, not thread prominence.

I'd wager everyone that saw the flOw thread and subsequently purchased the game DIDN'T see it tucked in here...I didn't. As further evidenced as the game jumping 5 spots to the best selling PSN game last night.

I came across it after spending a few hours on Amazon last night.

It does nothing but discourage me from posting ANY deals on here if I have to worry about threads disappearing and merging with others. This isn't an official thread, just another random PSN thread.

You'd think whomever merged it would have had the foresight to see the benefit of CAGs purchasing the game with affiliate kickbacks instead of nobody seeing it in this thread. So, whomever merged the thread, I'm sure Cheapy's pockets thank you.

Maybe I'm starting to see the benefit of SD...I believe I will start posting on both for deals I come across. Why should I be loyal to a sole site when I'm slapped in the face by not only other CAGs but thread mergers, I don't my time wasted, added no explanation of removed threads. Like others have stated, there are reseller tools on both sites. Might as well test the water. Especially after discovering their filters.

Should I just lurk here now?

That's where you're wrong. This is an official thread. Frisky puts a lot of work into the PSN threads and they are always up to date. It's a bit insulting to Frisky that you would label it as just some random thread that nobody reads. If you would have just simply read the OP, you would know why this thread exists and that your thread was a repost.

Really tempted to buy flOw. Missed it when it was free and I usually don't bother with a game when I miss an opportunity to get it free but bargain basement prices are really hard to pass up.

@Muthafodder I did see flOw here first for what it's worth. Could have sworn it was in here before the seperate thread was posted.

Also threatening to post on SD only makes you sound like a fuckhole. Most people here really hate that website (I personally don't care. I don't use it because the deals posted there come here and vice versa) and it's obvious you are just trying to piss people off. For the most part this community is pretty great and if you want to be the bad apple feel free to fall far from this tree. We don't need your double posts and your attitude.

Same here. While I enjoyed what I played of the game (sampled it a while back when it was only on the 360 since my friend purchased it), $10 seems steep for my cheapass.

As the creator of the "Cheap and Old Collector's Edition" thread, would you object if someone else created a thread for every deal posted in there? Isn't the point of that thread to collect all such deals in one place? That's how I see it, and that's how I see this thread too.
 
Tempted by flow, but that it controls movement with Six-axis seems like it could get quite annoying, it was the main drawback of flower as well.

I'd hope so if you're going to act like a baby about it. You know the rules for posting deals and shouldn't take offense when you break one and a mod fixes it. I see the thread you posted on SD, MonkeyTrucker, and you still completely missed stuff about the deal.

If you've ever read this forum before, you'd know that there are a ton of compilation threads here that compile a number of related deals into one thread so that people don't have to hunt down a dozen separate threads to see them all. There are too many threads posted each day with a lot of turnover to not have these threads.

This thread is an official thread for PSN deals since I'm the one that's running it and updating it regularly as deals pop up.

IMO, this thread is a disservice to CAG for the sole reason other CAGs are denied seeing good deals that will be tucked away in here. It's also a disservice to limit affiliate link purchases as obscure deals in this thread that ARE and WILL be overlooked. It was MUCH more prominent in it's own thread...regardless of who found and posted it first. PERIOD. This thread would be on page two and beyond if you guys hadn't bumped it again and again with what you identified as a re-post and name calling.

Feel free to carry the discussion on knowing this is the end of the discussion for me.

Damn I bought Flow because it wasn't in my download list and realized that because it was free when I got it that's why it wasn't there.

You insulted my thread. You mentioning that you're going to post the deal on another site, one that's been posted elsewhere for about a full day before you found out about it, is it a bit of an empty threat because nobody here really cares. Nobody there seems to really care either. It's been available for long enough before you posted it on SD that it's not the big deal that you made it out to be.

I can touch on the other points of your post, like suggesting that everybody that saw the thread bought it and made it the #1 selling PSN game. It was the #1 selling PSN game on Amazon when I posted it a day before, so your thread added nothing but a few more sales to help keep it there. It's a fact that not everybody that saw it and posted in the thread bought the game like you claimed.

There's the claim that I'm taking money out of Cheapy's pocket for posting the deal in this thread where it belongs because you caused a ton of new sales. First, Cheapy gets about 10% for each sale, so the full retail games get him a lot more than he'd get from a $2.99 PSN game. Just check out the latest thread that Cheapy posted about the best-selling games that CAGs have purchased to see if PSN codes make up a big chunk of the list. Hint:
They don't.

And the final point is that I never called you names. I said you're acting a like baby, which is true and not name-calling. There's a big difference.

Your post was merged with the thread that already reported your big discovery about a day earlier. Who gives a shit? If Frisky took your lead, he would have posted a different thread for every single one of the deals in the OP.

Wanted to pitch in and say this is a great thread and I hope that one sore dude doesn't stop Frisky from keeping this thread up.

This site is about helping each other play our some of our favorite hobbies on the cheap. No need to fight each other when there are deals to be had.
