Age of booty is a simple strategy game and not too bad. Wolf and super puzzle fighter don't have trophies, if that's an issue for you.

Edit: neither does 1942 or rocketman, or SF turbo HD remix

Age of Booty had like glowing reviews when it came out, but it was like a dumbed-down capture the flag type game to me. It's like Hoard, but easier.

Thanks everyone for their opinion on the capcom bundle. I bought and..... it's going into my 100+ game backlog...... Good deal though, will be playing Super Puzzle Fighter a lot.

Had to buy the Twisted Metal:HO and MS:AE bundle. I played the ps2 ver of TMHO but I'd like to have it on the go. And I heard MSAE is a great portable racer. $7 per game(or less) is what I'd like all psp games to be at. I may get the locoroco/patapon bundle soon too. Great for future Vita use as well.

Anyways I owned STFHD before so I can't buy the capcom bundle. Oh well.

Funny, Scarygirl released at $9.99, whereas it released at 1200msp ($15) on Xbox last week. It has since dropped to 800msp ($10) on Xbox. Weird.

Strange, I was on my ps3 and I got a message from Sega saying that selected users have access to Daytona USA for $4.99. Good deal, so I bought it right away. But that is strange that it did that.

Edit: When I looked for it in the ps3 store, it's still $9.99. But I get it at that special price only by the message from Sega.

Offer Link available on between 1/24/2012 - 2/16/2012

Did you download the demo before?

I hope I get one, I'd pay $5 for it.

EDIT: Got it! Sweet! And I don't believe I downloaded a demo for it, I think it was on 360 where I got the demo. Thanks for sharing Lupe

DOUBLE EDIT: There is no demo for it on PSN.

Tmho and Ms:ae would be playable on the vita right? Just download and go?

Yeah, I never played the demo for it on PSN. I have no idea how I got it. Just popped up, and just bought it.

wow this is like the only week i get nothing. that is fantastic tho after spending like $35 last week.
also just got 100% on hydrophobia this week. eh

I got the message too! I might have to download Daytona USA, didn't click on it.

I wish the capcom bundle could substitute other games for the ones you already have. I got Super Street Fighter II remix when it was on sale a couple of weeks back.

Might get Hydrophobia, need to see some reviews.

I hope Sega ends up putting the canceled 2-disc Phantasy Star Portable collection as one of these digital $15 packs. So pissed my WM order got canceled.

BB sells $10 cards in-store. Even if u put your cc in, you'll have to add $5 to your PSN wallet.

Despite saying that the inability to buy the Capcom Super Pack if you had previously purchased any of the games, they've now rescinded that and any PS+ member can buy it now if you want it. It'll also show up for those of you that couldn't see it before. I can confirm that it's possible to purchase it now despite already owning one of the games.

Disappointed in the PSP 2 packs..I was hoping it would be like some of the in store bundles they did (both Syphon Filters would have been great).

I'm very happy. Loco Roco and Patapon are the exact two games I wanted downloadable on my PSP. I'd also go nuts for the original Hot Shots Golf and Exit. These are the best games for me to pick up and play and not need to pop in a UMD.

Yeah, they're all $15 each and are all on PSN, as well.

I'm extremely impressed to see the PS Store do this.

How do you plan to play them on your Vita? I thought they didn't have a UMD drive.

Or did Sony follow through with a way for us to download previously purchased UMD titles to Vitas? I would be shocked as hell if that were the case.

Ok. So none of the action ones, like Syphon Filter, are on PSN for the bundle price, unless I am mistaken. So what is your point?

Cool, I agree they are very easy to pick up and play. The only problem for me, with that bundle, is that I did not care for LR when it came out. I also prefer Patapon 2 to the first, and it is only 7.99 alone on PSN.

Didn't Sony make that official a while ago? There is going to be some way to register your games and pay a small fee to be able to download them to get them on your Vita. I don't know the details beyond that but depending on just how much money I have to flush down the drain to transfer I may only do a few games that I must play again.

Don't think they confirmed it in NA.

Aside from sending them my UMDs, how will Sony know that I actually own these PSP games?
Aside from sending them my UMDs, how will Sony know that I actually own these PSP games?
Yeah, if that's the case where you have to send in your UMDs, I'll just pass and wait for a sale/discount on the PSN version of my PSP games. Still hoping of an external UMD player add on.

Why is everyone so excited for the Patapon (2 pack).
It is the original game... since part 2 and part3 have come out.

Wouldn't you just go and buy part 3 instead? Am I missing something?
I immediately discounted the 2 pack because I figured I should rather be playing Patapon 3 (on my vita).

However, the Twisted metal/Motor Storm 2 pack will be mine!

Slightly off-topic, but having already downloaded Hydrophobia as a PS+ member (it was free), I'd like to actually take advantage of the sale price of $2.99 but the store won't allow me to purchase the game as I am currently on a 1 month PS+ membership.

Anyone know a workaround for this? I'm afraid this game will go back up in price once my membership is up in 2 weeks.

Back on topic, too bad the Capcom bundle doesn't include BCR2. I already have SSF2THDR & SPF2R. No real interest in any of the other games but for $12.50 it's a damn good price.

I think you should be able to create another account on your PS3 and buy it on that account. But no way to buy it with your main account, kind of a pain but that's how PS+ works.

I already have Patapon 2 since I got it at Sears a long time ago when they had them for a $1. I am interested in Loco Rico games though.

I'm definitely getting the Twisted Metal/Motor Storm pack also

They're all on PSN for $14.99 each, so I was responding to your wish that there were more bundles.

wow, the ass creed rev dynamic theme is a 15 mb download wtf?!
at least it is free for ps+ members.

update: ok, dl'ed it. it is just ezio running in place towards you lol. oh well. free is free.

also, i agree w/ the darknight88 post below me.

I think this is a flaw in the system. They should give you a small additional discount if you are a PSN+ user and one of the free game ends up put on sale? Why? Well BC you don't own it when you get free games from the service so it makes sense for you to want to own it.

But then maybe Sony want you not to buy the "free" games or else you won't keep paying to keep the activation going. Could they be that greedy and unfair?

Honestly they should let you buy games like the above poster in his situation BC as years pass, the old content will be that and it's new incentives and giveaways that keep people hook along with additional savings. Sadly there is zero way for those who handle PSN+ to hear our cries. (ps: official ps forums are a cesspool of dummies)

If anyone, it's the devs and publishers who should be pressuring PSN to allow Plus subscribers to buy games that were previously offered free. They're the ones who are losing the most when subscribers WANT to pay for their games and are systematically blocked from doing so.

Pubs and devs get paid for each download from PS+ members, which is part of the agreement that they sign to have their games given away.

I think the issue you guys are having is that you don't think you own the game even though you do as a PS+ member, so you're kind of asking to own two copies of the same game and the system doesn't really support that idea. That's why you have to wait until your sub lapses to be able to buy the game again because you don't own the game at that point. It would be nice to have some nuance to that system to recognize the difference between owning a game as a PS+ member and owning it outside of that sub, though I'm not sure how easy of a fix it would be to change that.

Just thinking about it from a programming standpoint, all you need is an extra bit. 0 or 1 where 0 means not a PS Plus member and 1 means you are one. Then store the bit within the account and allow people to switch off/on the bit if deals appeal to them. They don't need much since the PS store displays regardless of type, then everyone could purchase what they want.

How good are these games?
Age of Booty, Flock, Rocketmen: Axis of Evil with It Came From Uranus Pack, and Wolf: Commando 3.

I'm still thinking about getting that Capcom Bundle, but already have the three games.

Played Age of Booty on XBLA. It's pretty fun but very thin. Good for maybe an hour or so of fun with friends.

In a vacuum that's true.

In reality, however, that's usually not the case. What appears to seem like only requiring a small flag (especially when introducing a new one to a system) usually affects other aspects of the system. :)

Would be a nice feature though.

If you have the other 3 besides those, I'd recommend pass. Flock is ok, I've only played like 10 or so levels it's not awful but nothing special. Age of Booty is ok, got it for $2.50 on XBLA kinda glad I didn't pay more than that.

Funny, I played with one of my friends, and we were usually locked in eternal stalemates until one of us got bored and started doing stupid things.

My brother and sister-in-law must be easy prey then. ;)

The system MUST already know the difference between whether something is owned as a PS+ subscriber or (purchased) as a non-subscriber. Otherwise, anyone who let their subscriptions lapse would experience either all or none of their games no longer being available.

The problem must be that the store doesn't look for the difference between the two, instead just considering an owned game as owned. Sony would have to recode the store to consider a free game as being available to purchase, and they simply seem to have no interest in doing that.
