That's what the expiration date on all of the free games is for, as that causes you to need to resub or buy the game to get the license back for those games. The store just considers them all equal since you have the license to play them all while a member.
 
Just got my re-re-refurbished PS3 back from Sony (again).

Missed out on the 12 for 12 last week, and don't really care for the Capcom Bundle since I already got the 2 SF games.

Better be some good sales tomorrow.

That would be cool, but hopefully the "free XMB theme corresponding to that game" used to vote last year are slightly cooler if they do it this year.
 
Used my free 30 day PS+ code tonight to grab the Capcom bundle on sale. Now going through and seeing what is free. Lots of avatars of cars.

People complain when they miss out on a limited time offer, then they complain about repeats of same. Talk about no-win. I just ignore repeats if I already got them and feel good about someone else getting something they missed because it gives me hope something I missed will come back.

Plus is fantastic, another amazing month, can they really keep this up for the 9 more months of my sub?

The people who badmouth plus are looking dumber and dumber. If it's not for you, fine, but stop denying its fantastic value for a significant number of users.

I have such fond memories of playing that in the arcades with friends back in the day.

I was also interested in Battle Fantasia too and I'm happy to add FFV to my growing PS1/PSN.

I actively dislike Farcry 2 but overall I think the selection of free games is quite excellent for the month of February.

Really loving the mileage I'm getting out of PS+ with that $15 year card, I might stock up for a year or two more if a deal comes along.

you say they are rentals, well people around here constantly talk about backlogs so how often do you replay games you already played?
 
I've been pleased with my PS+ sub so far. Granted, I got it for cheaper, but I can say it would probably be worth it for 50 bucks, but only if I was using the discount off of games a lot.

worth of video game services is subjective. i dont play the ps3 that much, but think its a pretty worth while service. you may be 'renting' the free games, but theyre still free... you going to get mad at gamefly because if you cancel your sub you dont get to keep the games?
 
Sweet jesus, epic PSN+ month. Simpsons alone was worth it for me (Was buying it day 1)

Either way, gotta buy a new PS+ Card, just realized mine expires on the 14th @_@.

i totally had my hand in the cage about to feed him. then i read your sign and was like oh shit dont feed the animals youre right. i forgot ignore was a feature.

i pretty much only pick up my ps3 for the free ps+ games and discounts. good service, xbox will never offer day 1 deals on new games. simpsons is the perfect candidate for this, as youre likely to not pick it up again after the initial nostalgia-gasm, at least i probably wont...
 
Looks like I picked a good month to use my free Plus code. Haven't managed to secure a Simpsons board for my arcade cabinet yet, but this'll do for a month. I already have FFV in multiple formats, so I'm not likely to play it via a system where it won't be available to me later, but I applaud it as a solid choice.

I'm amazed at how far people will go to defend the value of PS+. Why get so riled up over someone refering to it as a rental, seriously? Worth it to some, not to others, no sense in trying to convince anyone that it's all or nothing. It doesn't make the service less valuable to you to acknowledge that someone on The Internet wouldn't get as much out of it as you do.
