Unlikely to get a Rayman Legends sale. Rayman Legends and Rayman Origins were on sale during Thanksgiving week.

just wantd to double check, Child of light is still not cross buy right? Been wanting this game for a while but still refuse to buy it when its not cross buy. Especially since EU got it that way for some reason

I hesitated twice this weekend but I'm sure I'll end up buying the vita version since I'll probably only play it there anyways.

No telling, but if that happened, you would only save a buck and some change on each. I bought both Digital Devil Saga games the other since $6.49 each wasn't that bad.
 
Amazon has digital codes for some of the Last of Us: Remastered dlc at a discount. I don't know Amazon regularly has these codes at these prices, but they are cheaper than the PSN store. Only the PS4 codes are cheaper, and I don't think they are cross-buy with the PS3.

The Situational Survivalist Skills Bundle might be cross-buy. In my download list section on the PSN website I also have the option to download them to a PS3. That could be true for all three, but I only bought the skills bundle. Amazon only lists the PS4 as the platform they are available for.

I'm really late to the Hotline Miami party and missed it when it was free, but if there is anybody out there who has yet to play it and is on the fence, I can't recommend it enough.

Seeing screens and even watching others play it I was convinced it wouldn't be for me, but given the overwhelming positive feedback and the super-cheap price tag I decided to give it a shot with no expectation of it being anything I'd really get into. Two days later and I'm completely hooked.

There's just something about it, I don't want to play anything else until it's finished. One of my new favorites and for only $3? A must-buy for anyone that hasn't tried it yet.
 
So, finally getting a PS4, but haven't seen any deals on PS+ membership. Anyone have a suggestion as to where to pick up a 12-month card/code?

Theres a Gyft promo thread on the 1st page that lets you take $5 off a $15 gift card to best buy, gamestop, or amazon (among other places) and can be used multiple times with different emails.

They've put a few things on sale that I was interested in (Child of Light, Valiant Hearts, etc.), but since I just got a PS4 I still have a bunch of other things to play through that I had free from PS+ and got with the system or on sale around Black Friday. 50% off is good, but not if I'm not going to play it right away. I wouldn't say I've been disappointed, but I also had very low expectations.

This sale is killing the Xbox Live sale IMO. Metro Redux was on sale for $33 on XBone and PS4 had it for $15, just an example. The XBone also hasn't had nearly as many titles for sale. The PSN sale has been alright so far, I have picked up SAO and Child of Light on Vita. I hope this week has Tales of Hearts R and OliOli.

I don't think this is an accurate comparison and/or accurate pricing. I'm too lazy to look up details, but $15 sounds way too cheap for Metro Redux for both games included. I think the PS4 sale was $15 for each game.

 
Any anticipation of a Tales From the Borderlands/Game of Thrones Telltale sale on PS4 considering its on sale for 360 this week? Want to transition to playing the PS4 versions of Telltale games instead of the PS3 versions, especially now that my PS3 broke & my 360 retail 320 GB HDD is full.

(Yes I know there's a 500 GB one now but I don't have $110 to spend on my now secondary console.)

chance for child of light on the 3ds to go on sale this week for 3.74 if the discount is the same EU is getting

 
I still haven't made my purchases for the week that is ending.  I think I may only be getting CounterSpy.  Everything else I want, I think I can wait for cheaper or on another system (e.g. I want Pier Solar and Child of Light, but I have a lot more XB$, so I'd be better off getting them there).

Pretty sure these are from people who got codes with a PS4 BF Bundle, and (correctly) realized they want no part of that POS. You can find Destiny codes pretty cheap for the same reason.

No, these aren't codes for the actual game. These are codes for dlc, and they come straight from Amazon.

I ended up buying the weapons pack that is on sale. The Enforcer is awesome.

I broke down at the last minute and bought both Digital Devil Saga games and Nocturne. I sure hope that Sony makes these PS2 Classic games playable on the PS4 eventually (without forcing us to re-buy them or "rent" them through PS Now) -- I almost hate buying them at this point knowing that I'm relying on my old PS3 hardware for them.

They are still making the PS3 so realistically you will be able to find them new for another 5-10 years. Hell they were still making new PS2's until 2013.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: PS3 is the game system with the best value right now. If you have PlayStation Plus, you'll be gaming on the cheap for years to come.

That said, I'm still on the fence about buying Child of Light and Pier Solar. I want both but I still think they might be less at some point down the line. I was going to get Child of Light for Vita, but I've got way more space on my superslim PS3, so I will probably just break down and buy both before Week 4 starts.

I thought about getting one or both of those also but decided to wait and see what the last week brings us. I'm sure to get something since I have a $10 credit from my GTA/TLoU bundle. I'm also hoping for Rogue Legacy or some classics.
