Furi‘s love of boss fights combined with its simple yet effective mechanics, interesting story, lovely visuals, and fantastic soundtrack leads to what is easily my favorite release of 2016 so far. I was pretty excited going in, and watching the game meet each of my expectations would prove to be a real treat. The challenge may not be for everyone, but those with even a vague interest in the idea will probably find Furi to be a game they’ll be thinking about for a long time.

I really like severed but it also really annoys me. Every 5 minutes I hate the touch screen controls, but then I realize that without the touch screen controls, I probably wouldn't be interested in the game at all. Its a very complicated relationship. 

 
I don't know if anyone has Wipeout HD in their backlog but I'm going to be going for Bling Brigade soon. I'm currently powering through the campaign to unlock the skins needed and then will start setting it up. All you need to do is get a medal in each cell to unlock the skins so just play on Novice and get at least Bronze. Should be pretty easy.

Also, if anyone wants to do some online Eliminator matches to get AG Assassin, hit me up.

I wondered about this one. It looks like an iOS port; it's got that low-quality look to the graphics and the gameplay seems pretty basic. Steam reviews are at 94% positive but that's out of only 68. The Steam price of $15.99 looks to be super high, too. Mirror of Fate is clearly a superior 2.5D game and is priced $1 lower. I can't imagine Pharaonic selling well at that PP. $5.99 or so would have been a lot more likely to drive impulse buys.

Yeah, I just meant the 2.5d with the comparison. I'm sure there are other 2.5d games but the only ones I can think of offhand are ACC and Blackgate which aren't combat-focused.
