On a side note, looks like I'm going to save my MPs for Borderlands' Clap Trap DLC which is hitting soon, 28th!

I wish the free roam stuff was still a seperate free download as I plan on waiting for a sale on this stuff. I would like to check out mp a little more though. If anyone is looking to do co-op send me a FR as I would like to check it out.

I know there are 4 or 5 of the Ragtag CAG's that have bought Liars and Cheats (myself included.) Multiplayer poker and Liar's Dice are really great! Anyone else have it?
I think the Free Roam Pack was going to be free anyway so it's still the same cumulative cost. There was just some issue with releasing four packs or what not.
It was M$ wouldn't let them release more than 1 pack for free.

So i havent played this game in a few months, great game, but i'd say the replay value goes a bit down once you finish the main storyline. The xbox live co-op missions were okay, but just an extension of single player missions. The hunting and side missions got boring after awhile. DEfinitely a GOTY frontrunner, but the luster of this game wore out a bit. Maybe i'll get more replay value once i renew my xbox live, but this game has gone unplayed awhile for me. It does suck that MS is basically controlling rockstar on the DLC releases.

I think I'll be getting it soon. I want to finish up the single player on a my first run through and I need points too. Hoping to catch some less than retail

I agree somewhat, the multiplayer, while entertaining at times, is too weak to truly keep me immersed.

However I disagree about the SP being boring after doing the single player missions. I did all the side missions and everything there is to do (100%) and it was a blast, did it all in 60 hours.

I refuse to sell it because it was such a beautiful game, even though I am kinda bored by it now. Although there's on achievement for keeping the same horse for 20 missions that could make me replay it.

Anyway I'm really interested in Liars and Cheats, I might get it soon.

I agree Pretzle I loved the single player but the multiplayer was only fun for a little while with my friend. I typically don't do random online play.

I really enjoyed the game but after completing the single player to 100% I have not really played it much. Maybe I will boot it up again to just roam around the single player mode but the multiplayer and its DLC packs don't really have a lot of appeal to me.

I hope they keep making single player content like they did for GTA4 but sadly I don't think it is going to happen since we've not heard anything about it so far.

I picked it up day one. If I am playing multiplayer, usually I am in this game.

Weird but i was kicking ass in poker and the other players decided to kick from the game me has anyone else had that happen to them?

Guys. the Undead Nightmare is almost upon us. today R* released this
picture.php

more info to come.....Tomorrow some screens and Thursday a trailer. i cant wait.

I cannot wait for Undead Nightmare! It's one of the reasons I refuse to let go of this game, I really hope it doesn't disappoint (it's impossible to fail, they better not!)

All they need is a few awesome crazy weapons (giant axe anyone?), like 5 new crazy enemy types, or normal zombified animals (like zombie crows).

Also it'd be cool if they rewarded building exploration. Like Tumbleweed mansion. Man I cannot wait!! Please don't fail R*!!
I love RDR and I still need to get all the DLC, but more zombie crap? When does this stuff end :(
Hey, it's better than a massive influx of vampire love stories.

Oh wait....

Right lol. Well, I'll say that the screenshots look good. And though I'm not a fan of zombie stuff in general, if the DLC is good, I'll buy it.

Now if only I can score some MS points below retail...

looks awesome as hell! i cant wait to get this. it reminds me of Tales From The Crypt with the font and the way it all looks. i wonder when this takes place during the time line of the game or if its just a completely unrelated side for fun kind of story.
There is a graveyard in the Red Dead environment. Foreshadowing for this DLC... should be fun if not innovative !!!
There are at least three, in the video the church and graveyard is where Marston meets the graverobber in the beginning of the main story.
Wow, it looks fucking insane. Way better than I had imagined.
It does look really good, but what else would you expect from Rockstar. Although a fun side story of zombies is cool, it really makes me wish for some more single played DLC. Sheriff Johnson stories, stories about the dueler in his prime or some retelling of Red Dead Revolver would be cool. Now I have this and claptrap revolution begging me to buy them, but I'll try to hold out for a deal. Maybe I'll open my copy of Darkwatch (vampires, but still) to tide me over.

Although, will there just be an area you travel to trigger the story or will it be a seperate option at the main menu.

This is single-player DLC. Unless you mean main storyline DLC.

I can't wait for this. I'm currently reading The Walking Dead, so I've been in a bit of a zombie killin' mood. Dead Rising isn't my thing, but this should be a good fit

I mean, GTA 4 got two big single player addons.

Aye. That would be cool.

If we don't see it in the DLC, hopefully we'll see a sequel dealing with stuff prior to RDR's storyline. A bit like Vice City after GTA III.

I have purchased All the DLC so far. The new modes and in particular. The new weapons

- Tomahawk
- Explosive Riffle

Will no doubt come in handy against the Zombies.

the Zombie DLC will be $10 and have the most DLC of all at least 2 new Weapons. I hope its the rumored

- Bow and Arrow
- Full sub machine gun (WW1 era)

still cant wait
I kinda figured as it seemed like it should really stay seperate from the main story as much as possible. I think I'll actually get this DLC toward the 2400-800 promo. The rest I think I can wait for a real deal.

I think we need to get some poker nights started or something. I absolutely HATE the fact that you can only join poker games within the free roam session you are in. Especially since most people want to just grief each other in free roam.

Again, if anyone wants to do coop, missions, or MP games, friend request me.

Played the DLC at the ny comic con, Rockstar has a pretty cool booth and after the demo you get a spanky deck of RDR cards and some Rockstar stickers...back on topic. According to the Rockstar rep he said the game for the avg gamer should be roughly 10 hours of content. Graveyards are much like gang hideouts which you can revisit to earn fame and grind out whatever you need to.

I was really impressed by how the zombie moved, torching them if you don't get a headshot to make sure they stay down, and just the dreadful feel of the graveyard. Gloomy, overcast, with lightning storms in the back. Definitely getting this for 800 ms pts. (not sure how much you already know, but I figure someone might be interested in first hand experience)

That excites me to no end.
Is the release date still late October? As long as I'm done with the new Alan Wake DLC by then, I should be all set to play the hell out of it. I must keep my 100% single player completion.

I asked the reps, they said they're hoping for a late Oct release to tie in with Halloween but not to quote him on that...but all in all, the demos they were giving on the 360 consoles seemed like the entire DLC they only let you try the graveyard level, and not explore beyond that.

Anyone care to play online today (monday 10/11)? I haven't done hardly any of the co-op missions or free roam stuff. Just looking to have fun. Message/friend add me.

I've killed almost every animal in this game but still haven't gotten the achievement.

Yeah looked it up online and there's a duck in this game! damn

That demo level was pretty good. The blunderbuss was pretty neat. You had loot for ammo. They gave me a T-Shirt and a deck of cards.

nice, I had to work since I had a booth there. Let me tell you though, if you're an exhibitor or professional at the convention, the few hours early in the morning that's not open to the public was sweet. No crowds, no rush, no unbearble BO, or pushy ppl...and no lines.

There's a post in the free live content thread that there is a free costume pack for RDR. It includes two outfits and some sp challenges. Also, compatability for mp with those who have the paid DLC so you can see their DLC skins or whatnot.

^ thanks for the reminder! i almost completely forgot about the merchant and hunter outfits being added for freeeeeeee. i think the hunter outfit looks bad ass and you get double the amount of hides which equals double cashhh.

Really? Single player challenges?! Crap, now I gotta do those to maintain my 100%.
