There's definately something lost between the live experience and TV. I thought tonight was awesome, but i'm sure it came off as crap on TV. Maybe it just helps to be there with a couple thousand other people.
Yeah, i've got pictures. And video. Most of the pictures are blurry. Why? Because my camera already doesn't take still shots too well without a flash and you can only hold a camera so steady during Raw.
Like I said, I had a blast. It was great to be there. I thought about getting a Carlito shirt, but I just can't stand the thought of spending $24.99 on a t-shirt.
Rob Conway's theme reminds me of Randy Newman.
I thought I was the only one. I cheered for him during his entrance.
I'm going to do thumbnail pictures and links to the videos. Here we go.
=========================================================
Note: They played a Wrestlemania 21 DVD promo. Why? There was also a cool "Look at our characters" promo for WWE. Dunno if it played on Spike TV or not.. featured Carlito, Triple H, etc.. then said WWE Raw coming to USA October 3rd. I recorded the whole thing, but deleted it because I thought either you guys wouldn't care or i'd run out of room.
Gas prices are insane
The obligatory "WWE Raw TONIGHT!" shot.
Inside the arena
My seats. It looks a lot farther away than it actually is. But as you can see, I had a great view.
Interesting note, Grisham and Coach came out for Heat, sat down, put on the headsets.. then left. I guess they came out for the camera.
"Don't throw shit in the ring!" (Actually, she was saying get ready because we're going Live in a few seconds. Interesting note, Fink actually did not come out, they had a prerecorded message and it sounded like Uncle Eric talking)
The guys in white were local guys and got huge pops.. mainly because they were part of the first match AND from the home town. They won. I was pretty impressed with their work, they did some cool stuff.
And as I said, the pictures are almost all blurry, but you're about to see a new gimmick. I think. I'm not sure if he's been on Sunday Night Heat or Velocity with this.. but..
The man in the makeup, the man who came down in a cloak with his face shielded, is none other than.. Doug Basham.
Basham's victory pose after he beat Striker.
Rene Dupree fought Tajiri, but neither were picture worthy. Tajiri did the french tickler dance (that's what it's called, right?). At the end, Dupree did some move i've never seen before.. he like.. placed both feet into Tajiri's back and fell backwards or something.. it looked painful. You should watch Heat just to see this move.
Presenting the flags / national anthem
Lawler says "Scorch can't take pictures worth shit!"
Eugene
Blurry Flair and Carlito
I CAN take non-blurry pictures. Every now and then. Edge and Lita arrive at the start of Hardy/Snitsky
They ran the 'Doom' trailer
Chris Masters in a shot so blurry it almost looks animated
Shawn, a split second before the pyro
Dark match: Cena/Show vs. Angle/Snitsky.. Cena arrives..
Cena and Show in the ring. They won after Cena did the FU to Angle and Show did the chokeslam to Snitsky. And for the first time in my life, after ten years of going to a wrestling event.. I heard a Big Show chant.
==============
Other stuff:
- Starting a "Put your sign down" *clap clap clapclapclap* chant works very, very well.
- One guy came out and we had no clue who he was. He kept raising his arms.. and the crowd chanted in response, "Who are you"
- Took the elevator on the way out. They went to the ground floor. The doors opened.. and holy shit, I was backstage. As two security guards demanded that the person hold the elevator open, I jumped back in and took off.
Video time. Turn down your audio because the audio on my camera isn't the best in the world.
- Next to me, in what could've very well been a cruel joke by God himself, was four extremely, extremely overweight women. I'm not exaggerating their fatassness, as they walked past me, the third roll on their shin knocked over the woman next to me's drink. One mumbled a "sorry", but didn't even offer to pay for it. Bitches. So I extracted revenge. Sort of.
You see, these fat chicks marked out harder than Guyver in a Chris Masters marathon at ANY jobber. Hey, here's a random jobber that came out to no theme music or tron video.. and they marked.
But anyways, when the Heart Throbs came out, these fatasses danced. And shook the whole row. Honestly, I thought there was a tsunami or something. And they did this for everyone. They did it when Kerwin White came out. So I did my ninja thing and recorded their fatass dance for all to enjoy:

Next time, don't shake my seat with your fourteenth jelly roll and you won't be publicly humiliated on the internet. And pay for drinks you spill over, bitch.
I also recorded Cena's entrance. It cuts off right before he actually comes out, which sucks.. but it's still cool.

And for those of you who have never been to a Raw to see how unbelievably loud (and huge and bright) the pyro is, I recorded the entrance. I thought it'd be cool, and it was.
