At first, I was looking at the Clash song like, "WTF? Never heard of that one.", then I looked it up and listened to it. Definite d/l! I just never knew the name. I thought it was called "Stand By Me" or something. :)

Huzzah!

They should just put in The Clash S/T already, so I can play White Riot, I'm So Bored With the USA, Garageband, Police and Thieves, etc.

I just got banned at the rockband forums for saying that "I would kill myself if I had to listen to emo music, but fortunately I don't."

No warning, nothing, and never had any problems before. When I asked them to look into it, they made it permanent.

Really leaves a bad taste in my mouth that Harmonix would treat its community this way. I probably won't be downloading any more DLC any time soon, in protest.

They picked the absolutely worst most banal generic Blondie song they could have picked anyway, so no great loss there.

Since the DLC for this past week was very unappealing to me, I decided to pick up 9 more songs to put me over the 100 mark. Also, after shitting all over that Thrash Pack when it came out, I ended up buying all 3 songs and very much enjoying them on guitar/bass.

I played tonight with my "band" my lead singer who gets like 95-100 on medium was to drunk/sleepy to even play.

Good times, I just picking Freezepop.

Me and a lady friend were playing until like 4am on saturday night. Then I fell asleep and she left. Hahaha maybe I shoulda left that last part out.

For some reason, I can only think of Trainspotting, when Spud passes out. You didn't wake up in crap covered sheets, did you?

You might like the latest batch of songs appealing as well.

Played some World Tour with a buddy on Friday night. It's pretty cool that the dlc will randomly appear in your setlists, and also that you can make setlists at each venue with the new dlc. Playing the songs on the disc can get pretty repetitive.
You might like the latest batch of songs appealing as well.
The pack that includes Fall Out Boy and The Yeah Yeah Yeah's, or the one announced for tomorrow?
Do you really need alllllll those songs?
At first I didn't want more than like 8 DL songs because it felt like a waste of money. But now that I have all these songs, I'm very happy with them. I love having such a big variety (to an extent), and it makes playing with friends in World Tour or just Quickplay more exciting than playing the same songs over and over all the time.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
I thought about grabbing the Date With a Night song after watching the chart, I'd just have to treat it like the Thrash pack and turn the volume down to counter those vocals. The other two bands in that group, Fall Out Boy and Angels & Airwaves, just don't do anything for me so I wouldn't get them even at half price.

I'm glad somebody plays the game the same way I do. I can't stand most of the music, but when a song has an awesome/difficult chart, I must have it. Even if the song sucks, you can just mute it and play something else, or just turn it down really low.
Shut up.

Karen O > you
I believe your equation was meant to look more like:

Karen O < (fail)^2

X = good music

Blondie/Ramones/Police - fun

QotSA/Judas Priest/Metallica - guitar/bass

NIN/Smashing Pumpkins - vocals/drums

Thrash Pack/Shockwave - difficulty

...and so on.

Tomorrow's.
Tomorrow's.
Oh, ok.

I'm all over more Blondie, the other two I will grab when I have extra points lying around (I'm left with exactly 160 points ATM).
I was thinking the same. And that isn't you Trakan, right?
No, that isnt him. Trakan is pretty bad at drums

Trashkan is the worst.
Where can I get that custom pedal kit?
I think it was somewhere in the Scorehero website, but that drum pedal kit was made from a practice drum pedal kit and costs around $70 or so.

another custom pedal

http://www.rockpedal.com/

i recently made my own pedal by using the link above from buttasuperb. and used the same type of pedal from the link i mentioned above [ pulse pedal ]. hot glued one of the censors to the bottom of plate under the pedal, and another censor is placed underneath the pedal.

i suggest you guys make your own, feels great and makes it much easier to play.

pulse pedals 40 from amazon free shipping
mono audio cord was about 7
alarm censor was 9 or so with shipping

i also made my own pedal.

mine is setup very similar to the omega pedal, although i made mine before that came out.

used the same pedal (pearl p120) and i used electrical tape to attach the sensors to the bottom plate and the pedal itself. i removed the front bottom support rod on the drum kit and taped a gum eraser to the back support. i angled the beater arm down so it hits the eraser, it gives good rebound and quiets it just a bit. ill try to take a pic if i can.

using electrical tape isnt the cleanest method but it works just fine. the only hassle in making your own is positioning the sensors just right.

the omega pedal seems like a great option though if you dont feel like making one yourself.

i hear that heel up technique isn't omega pedal friendly, which is why i passed it up when i first thought about getting a new pedal. also you're suppose to put foam or something on the head of the beater that the guys that make the pedal supply you, but those break down very fast. also the omega pedal uses a mechanical switch, which in the long run has a higher chance of breaking than using magnet censors.

as for the destroyer pedal, last time i checked [ 2 weeks ago ] they had 1000+ backorders.

all great info. honestly since i already had a pedal, i hadnt looked too much at the details or reviews on the omega pedal, i just thought it seemed to be a good choice based on the fact it was setup similar to mine.

i would also suggest making your own. it's not tough at all and you can use whatever pedal and setup you want. you have the option of not using the beater arm at all, angling it down to hit some sort of padding on the drum kit support (a little more work, since you have to kinda take apart the pedal) or buying/making a practice pad for the beater to hit.

when making your own, you can test different setups until you find one that suits you.
Train in Vain on expert guitar.
Easiest song in the game.
el scorcho and roxanne are still easier, but that is pretty easy and looks boring.
Come on, Rock Band. If GH4 has Van Halen, I know you can do it, too.
Yeah, I want some Hot For Teacher, that would be awesome for drums.

El Scorcho is slightly harder than Train in Vain. I perfected Train my first time through.
