It adds more variety to the DLC so I can't complain. I'll be passing on it but hopefully it'll get more people into DLC.

I would check but my 360 is in repair and I want to see what it is available at this point.

Bingo. I went to Target and picked up two points cards just so I can get the Jimmy Buffett songs when they're available. Not sure you guy realize how huge he is down here in South Florida. Unless you've spent a significant amount of time in the Keys, it's hard to relate to his songs. Anyway, I put the point codes in last night and I'm down to about 600 now, the rest I spent solely on Rock Band songs.

Check wikipedia, I used them for awhile before I got the game. Pretty much waiting on b-day drums at this point.

Gotcha, then I like Halo said, wiki has a list of all the song. But I'm not sure they have prices. They may even have confirmed tracks that aren't out yet, just to give ya something to look forward to in the future.

They only charge like $35 used for them, so don't expect much.
 
I'm trying to figure out how much to sell/trade my Rock Band drums for...any help? It would be the drums only (no game), complete with the sticks and everything else that came with the drums...
 
That includes the game as well right? I think i'll aim for $65 shipped. If anyone is interested, CML, i'd rather a CAG get these then someone off eBay.

It doesn't include the game. $80 is just for the drums. Shipping those is gonna be a bitch.
 
I bought the whole Cars album, damn this game makes me pay.

I also go to use the TAC adapter, damn, I do so much better strumming with the older guitars over the Strat.

I think I'll buy that wireless Kramer guitar from the GH3 of PS2, anyone know if it's worthy?

I own that one and so far it hasn't crapped out on me like the Les Paul for 360 (knock on wood). Plus the placement of the select button on that one is PERFECT. It's no where like Rock Band where you'll accidentally keep pressing it (or start), but really close to when you want to activate overdrive. So easily my favorite plastic guitar.

Friends and I just went through one playthrough that night, three or four are great, rest are good, and a couple are lame, but still interesting as they're different from regular tracks.
Nice to hear a lot of synth in these songs.

I'll do a more detailed description of each song later, but I don't regret the purchase.
I do remember that All Mixed Up is awesome on drums (so is the "Dirty Little Secret" song I bought as a joke, close to being my fave for drums)

Sweet, I think I'm gonna score one on ebay, seem to go for relatively cheap.
The adapter works perfectly, really glad I didn't buy another Strat.
 
You guys should just check out the Cars album on youtube. By now all the instrument's charts should be up. Then you can decide yourself whether or not each song / note chart is worth your rmoney. I'm not a big Cars fan but I picked up a couple tracks based on what I thought would be fun.

:lol: When the Wii first came out I had some friends buy some VC titles just because they had to play it that instant. I need to stop buying so many RB songs and trick people into buying them.

Also I had to make a new Band, as our old band "Les Cools" had the me as the drummer as band leader, I didn't know you had to have the leader in there always to play.
My drumming couldn't take us any further on difficult songs, so I took up bass.

We had to make a side project and named it "Godspeed You Les Cool!".
I need to practice those damn drums.
 
I only have two bands. The Exits, my default band name since the first GH. I stole it from one of my favorite Boy Meets World episodes. I usually just let everyone play on that one since I don't care about the BWT stats that much.

Then my friend made Los Penguinos, but I wanted her to change it to Zia (her character name) and Los Penguinos (like Selena and Los Dinos for those who watched Selena in Spanish class like I did) but then she changed it to something I dont remember.

I only saw the charts for expert. I won't be playing on that difficulty, so it would be nice to see the mediums, at least.
 
I basically bought the game, 360, live all on Rock Band launch so I could get the name I wanted.

Murder City Machine Guns

Though I wish I could make more bands, but still I think I picked the most badass name ever.
 
Okay, last week I got the box to ship my guitar and I did. Today I got the replacement, but included in the box was the instructions sheet "How to Return your Rock Band Guitar". I already shipped my guitar. Are they expecting me to ship something back to them? How do I find out whether the transaction is over?

EDIT:

I went to the support.ea.com website and My Questions, the "status" says complete. Does that mean I'm done?
 
yea your good. I think they throw that in there incase you did the credit card option where they send to you then you send the def one back in the same box.
 
IMO the weakest Cars song in the pack are "Don'cha Stop" and "I'm in Touch with Your World'...those are the only two you will likely not recognize also. The rest are cherry. Might as well get the whole pack though.

I'm curious to see just how many Jimmy Buffett songs they sell...

I really like The Cars, but I believe that I'll pass on the dlc.
 
Dang, wanted to buy the whole Cars album for completion's sake but I need to save 1200 points for Doolittle in 3 weeks so I just went with Moving in Stereo and All Mixed Up for now. Very satisfied with both on drums. The whole album looks like it'll be a bitch on guitar since I'm not particularly well at keeping my stamina and accuracy up with HOs/POs though.

Speaking of Doolittle, I hope they don't up the price for it from the standard $15. It's got a lot more songs than the others(14 not counting Wave of Mutilation vs 9ish on both JP and the Cars) but most of them are pretty short, only 2 or 3 minutes. I also wonder if they'll censor Gouge Away("Some marijuana if you got some.") I hope not since that Dead song already makes reference to cocaine.
 
I have a second pair of drums that EA let me keep but I dont have sticks or a kick pedal for it. If someone pays shipping for them you can have them. I really have no use for them and they are just in the way. You can use them if ou want to mod with them or just have an extra set of drums. LMK please
