Loving the entire week, even though I cant find anything about the Buckcherry Song, i really like BuckCherrys past stuff so I will get it anyway, and at only $1 to boot... Great week of new modern Rock...

I'm getting SoaD, but I wish they would've chosen a couple other songs.

Of course, I know why they chose those...but still...

Too early to tell, and merely speculation, but does anyone think that Harmonix'll start to release an onslaught of songs that are on the GH4 list, starting with Toxicity?

Well, no one knows for sure if Toxicity is on the GH IV setlist yet. That one leaked RUMORED setlist is just that, a rumor, with no crediable evidence yet. If it turns out to be real, i really hope RB does start to release them in advance of GH IV to make RB sell better, but really, i am perfectly fine with diff song being on diff games so I get a better variety of songs and since the game play on each is diff it makes having diff songs on each even better. Wow, basically i just definied both sides there :).

Maybe Crue next week, but maybe not. Less points I spend on Rock Band, the more it\'ll be going to Bionic Commando and Castle Crashers in next coming weeks.

I'm wondering if we're going to see the full album since Toxicity is DLC and Chop Suey is in RB2.

That would be amazingly awesome.

That would be pretty low. Personally I'd rather pay $60 for 85 songs than $170 for 85 songs, but maybe that's just me. Not to mention the whole owning something for my $$$ vs. DRM'd digital content debate.

It's off of their forthcoming album. I'm pretty sure it's the track's debut.

See, there's only ~25 songs in GH4 that interest me. So I'd actually be saving money if they actually (hopefully) went through with it. And I wouldn't have to switch out the discs.

I'd shit if they put Chuck Berry out. "Johnny B. Goode"

Last I checked the setlist was still a rumor. :)

Kinda makes me paranoid if that's the case. Oh well, worst case scenario you can always just download your missing album tracks individually, for a very slight increase in points per song.
The S.O.A.D. songs?
Really never understood what everyone likes about them. Serj's voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard. Much rather have the Cruefest pack, but only because it's cheap.

I really can't complain when it's DLC I don't want now simply because XBox Live Arcade games are more pricey and good stuff coming out now...

I never really listened to SOAD, but those songs sound rather fun and/or difficult to play. I'll probably get at least one of them.

I'm having some trouble with Rock Band and hopefully someone can answer my question.

I am on vacation in NC and my cousin brought his 360 and I just brought my HDD along with Rock Band. The house we're in only has a wireless internet connection and his 360 was hooked up wired at his house, so he does not have a wireless card for it. When I put my HDD in his 360 and try to play Rock Band, it will not allow me to play the songs I downloaded. I do not remember the exact error message it gives me, but its something along the lines of "Song library cannot be updated so your session is ending now."

This is a minor problem becasue we can just not play the downloaded songs, but in Band World Tour when you do Mystery Setlist, it sometimes tries to select the downloaded songs and I have to restart the set. Any help would be great!

The DLC is locked to your console, meaning you can't use it on someone else's console without being connected to Live. You're SOL.

As for the Mystery Setlist thing, I'm pretty sure if you go into Memory on the dashboard, you could delete the songs and redownload them when you get home. Otherwise, I don't think there's much you can do.

Just checked out the YouTube vids of the SoaD songs and I'm definitely picking them up. BYOB definitely looks very hard but I like both of these songs so they should be a nice addition to the collection. Also I just realized I forgot to get the Who pack since my 360 RRoD a couple weeks back. Need to pick up that as well.

I was afraid of that but I didn't think the actual console had the capability of saving or utilizing game data, only the HDD. Well, that sucks. Thanks for the quick reply though.

BYOB and Toxicity are just as awesome as I thought they were going to be—which is actually fucking awesome—but I can't beat BYOB on expert with a half broken drum set. Looks like I should finally send it in and get a new one.

Wait, I am a little confused by this. I am going to sell my launch Xbox 360 and get an arcade when the price drops. I was going to keep my HDD and just use it on the arcade Xbox. I can not use my downloaded songs on the new Xbox? If you could explain this to me that would be great.

Wait, what?

I had a friend bring his 360 over to my place and hook it up in a separate room to a separate TV than mine is. I have a lot of DLC and he doesn't, so at one point we switched HDs and he was able to play my DLC from my HD hooked up to his 360 (signed in to my gamertag, which was on the HD, obviously).

you can use your downloaded songs on your HDD on another console.... as long as you're connected to xbox live.

If your not connected to xbox live the songs won't work.
