No, he just reminds me a lot of some other kids at my school. I'm used to seeing it from the crazy-obsessed person's side, so its very entertaining for me. Seeing how their mind's work could help me one day in the future.

That happened to me with my PS2. Changed from NBA 2K5 to Star Ocean: TTEOT, and it died on me while loading.

Sorry for your problems. I will never purchase a MS console without a warranty. Every original Xbox I had ended up being a POS.

So far I have been lucky with my 360 as I think it has only frozen 2 or 3 times.

It only seems to do it on newer games and demos. I've never had any problems with it when playing Kameo, DOA4, PGR3, and only once with Burnout revenge. I've had Dead Rising since launch and I had to trade that copy out for this one and it still does it. It never did it when I had N3. It almost makes me not even want to bother playing the fucknig thing.

I have a feeling that it'll do it when I get THAW and Table Tennis and Marvel ultimate Alliance for xmas. I all ready know it'll do it again with Marvel Ultimate Alliance, as it froze once when I rented it. But it never did it again, even after playing for about 3-4hours...

Yeah, I may just skip AE3 since I can get that for cheap later. Isn't Jungle Beat a single-player game? EB must have a bunch of those bongos to get rid of.
 
I saw the Fountain tonight. The only thing I'm really sure of was that I liked it. Not much else, though.

I swear to god, the more I think about the fact that my 360 pretty much can't play any new games that I want (and believe me, the scope at this point is limited), the more pissed off I get. Getting to the point where I no longer want ti even fucking bother with the god damned thing...
 
Would it be worth it to throw my broken Cube up on eBay? I'm pretty sure EB wouldn't take it, so it wouldn't be worth it to try. I'm not even sure how much shipping would be for it.

Yeah, I practiced about 2 hours for my last speech yet got extremely nervous and ended up with a C since I was trying to follow a "script"
 
I gotta stay up all night and sleep all day for work. I am new to this but can't have carbonated drinks like rockstar and such to help me stay up. Any ides on how to do it?

I ended up with a C in the same class for that reason. I would always right great speeches and then overthink things and lose my confidence in front of the class.

edit: on that note, I don't go to Starbucks often...at all really, but I stopped tonight with a friend and had some kind of chai-eggnog thing. Barring the price tag, caloric intake, and lack of bourbon/rum/brandy it was the best thing I've drank in a while.

If it wasn't such a long drive from my house to class I probably would have. When I get drunk I could care less what people say and am a pretty fun drunk.

I feel bad for you. Part of the reason my dad hates living in NC is because of the cold (he works construction). He said where is in GA is pretty cold as well though so he can't escape it.

Yeah it sucks ass but what can you do? I get paid today so that is a driving force to make me go. I could totally bail though, which would be really shitty of me because then one of my friends would get stuck doing all the work. So I am just going to suck it up, wear lots of layers and charge my MP3 player :lol:. Wish me luck!

The internet is a great distractor... 4 hours worked... no work done on my final papers :(

Feel equally as bad for us in the northeast, I have to do rounds for the next 3 hours, it's 21 degrees with 40 MPH winds here.
 
So next weekend I am meeting up with this girl in a blind dates of sorts. My one friend introduced us, and from talking to her she seems really nice, I always just get nervous with a girls if I don't find her attractive and having to let her down. Yes yes I know looks don't mean everything, but I'd atleast like to find a girl cute. From her pics she looks cute...but we all know you can't always determine these things by pictures.

However, since school started I seem to just go for the girls I think are really hot. Of course it just leads to a quick hook up and nothing comes from it. Sooo maybe it would be better to go for the girl with a great personality thats cute, as opposed to the hot girl who is as interesting to talk to as a wall.

And hey, she heard about me and my cousin getting Wii's last weekend, and even though she's never played a videogame before, she wants to try Wii sports. Who wouldn't like a girl who wants to play with his Wii? :p
 
As much as I enjoy working at the UPS, I'm ready for this shit to be over. It's a good job and good money but working out there in the winter is shitty. I could see doing it any other season.
