And now let us join our hands in prayer...

Our Mister Glitch who art in cyberspace,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy glitches come.
Thy will be done on Steam as it is in Putinland.
Give us this day our daily glitch,
and forgive us our no bai wen frees,
as we forgive those who no bai wen free,
and lead us not into moraning,
but deliver us from 66% off.

Amen.

WHAT WHAT DID I MISS NOOOOOOOOOO

Edit: Dammit, Lego Jurassic World would've been awesome. :(

I waited an entire week for the Humble Monthly to show up. All this time wondering how many on my wishlist will be knocked out since it's been so good at it so far.  One, two,  dare I hope for THREE?  Nope, zero.  A couple of the games look kinda interesting I guess.  The early unlock of some CoD game doesn't give me much hope for next month's bundle either. :(

Heh.  Add a game to wishlist from the queue, see it was bundled... wonder why you didn't buy it, go look at the bundle an realize you did buy it.  Go look for keys.  I wonder how many unredeemed greenlit games I have.

sounds like your wishlisting the wrong games, this knocked out 3 of mine

There's other people shitting their pants like it's a great bundle or something but I agree with you looks really meh to me. I jumped ship as soon as I saw Hurtworld though and Call of Duty sure ain't bringing my ass back next month.

Satellite Reign is about the only one I'm semi interested in but I'll just grab it later elsewhere. I can wait.

Kentucky Route Zero probably won't be finished in my lifetime so pass.

From a purely +1 perspective, these are not bad bundles, but considering that most of these titles remain in our backlogs forever, it makes more sense to wait for them to show up in the BTA tiers of Humble Bundles. $12 bucks is too much for +1s. And the unlocks for the monthly are starting to get weaker and weaker. The one for next month is essentially a glorified demo.

A friend of mine gifted me a game. I told him I have it in a bundle so I sent it back to him, so he'd get his money back.

He then suggested Super Motherload. Again, in a bundle, I redeemed it. And on my discovery queue, I found out Quasir al something, which was bundled years ago, was released, so I just activated THAT.

So yeah you're not the only one with this problem.

Saw this mentioned in the Humble thread and I took advantage. If you get the early unlock for the BLOPS3 MP Starter pack you can then do the full game upgrade in the Summer sale for just $15. Pretty cheap way to get the full BLOPS3 experience. Or you can just take a nap in a dumpster outside of a taco truck for a similar experience.

Just kidding. I kind of liked BLOPS3.

BLOPS3 sounds like the name of some pandemic strain that leaves you stuck on the toilet for days before you keel over and die from dehydration.

Here's the issue as I see it: if you're willing to brave the key-selling (aka trash) thread on or around the time that a bundle is released, you can usually find the headline game for $5 or less because a subset of subscribers have already acquired that game for their personal inventories through shady sites or glitches. Because HB is going to (apparently) rebundle everything else in later bundles, the value of the "extra" games is fairly limited, but if there are one or two that you really want, you can find folks selling their extras for one or two bucks in the trash thread too. So for considerably less that the $10.8 or $12 entry point, depending on whether you have a current coupon, you can get the bits of a bundle that you're interested in without the filler that you don't want.
Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Those are good points, unless the game is a survival game, which the good folks over at Steamtrades love to mark up to oblivion. For example, 4 CSGO keys for the Forest seems to be a normal rate, for a game that wasn't even a headliner. Something about survival games, such as bashing rocks with a hammer, make people lose their collective minds.

Yes, and that would help to explain their proliferation on Steam, but personally I've never understood the appeal. I guess it's just a new iteration of the obsession with Minecraft and Terraria, which even people who aren't really considered gamers play.

So nothing amazing but the Indie Gala Store changed their free with purchase deal so that any order over $4 gets Between Me and The Night for sure (no surprise bitch) and you still get a scratch ticket (surprise bitch).

Anyway I bought Party Hard and [customspoiler="Oh RPG!"]
1UUuV95.jpg
[/customspoiler] (shut up it's never been bundled and has cards) for $4.11 and got Between Me and The Night.

Oh and this trash:

Yes I am making you bitches work for your utter garbage free drops.

Yes, with a VPN.

Last time I did it, I went through the payment process (Paypal) with the VPN on. I didnt turn it off until the transaction was complete.
Tried that. All was good until the Paypal checkout finished and then I was hit with the error.

1) Move to Brazil

2) Get to know someone from Brazil

3) Black Magic (entropay)
I have a VCC already, so in theory, I should be able to skip Entropay and just VPN myself a Paypal account, right?

Wingamestore has WWE2K16 for 1% cheaper than the steam sale. They also have the Michael Jordan edition of 2K16 for 1% cheaper. lol
BARGAINMOOSE should still work for an additional 5% off but the crappy thing is you have to buy at least two games for it to work.

*Edited to add: Oh and there's the WA state sales tax. So for some of us it's still better to buy outside of Steam even if it's about the same price.

Or you know, you could check SteamDB. It takes a little work but it's worth it.
ikr? People act like that damned site is some magical thing and doesn't just pull from the steamdb.

Plus if you're really too fucking lazy to look on Steamdb then you can pretty much figure it out based on the publisher for most stuff.

Anybody here play and have an opinion on The Golf Club? Wondering if its worth picking up before the sale ends.
It's ok. I got it from the gem auction a while ago and have barely touched it since then. I remember it had a few bugs and it didn't feel amazing. It was good but not great.

My only other comparison point is the Tiger Woods series which is maybe a little unfair.

I'd hold off unless you really like your golf. In fact, we can answer whether you need to buy it with a simple scenario.

Jordan Spieth is in the rough, six iron to the green, 17th hole at Augusta. He's taken his shot. Did you just shout "Get in the hole!"?

I bet you did.

Question:

I'm eyeing one of those HyperDimension Neptunia games. Probably the first one. But then there's Fairy Fencer F. And Neptunia U. It's so confusing.

I'll probably get the cheapest one but it has shitloads of DLC. Do I need any/all of it?

So that's why it didn't work when I bought ETS Scandinavia. I thought it was restricted on sales games. Good to know.

Also, Indiegala is down and has been sporadically this week. Just when I wanted to impulse buy something for a scratcher.

Do you Brits get Amazon promo credit? The games are the same price on Amazon (at least in Murica), and you could just get them there if you've got some expiring credit.

+1 was also thinking about picking it up before it ended
I have it, and upgraded to the CE during the sale. Can't really say one way or the other, because honestly don't recall if I played it or not. :) However I'd love to give it a go with some fellow CAGers.
