He definitely did it. I found some Wayback Machine archives for it. Most aren't in English but you get the point.

September 1, 2013 - It was already Greenlit by this point. Still "Depth Hunter", so he changed it well after the game got approved.

The "2" part must be really recent because the last archive is August 4th 2014 and it doesn't have it.

Dev thinks getting the keys is this huge complicated thing (it isn't). She first said she's not giving keys because the game is in Early Access and isn't done yet but she doesn't need anymore feedback, then said in another thread the game was done and they were just taking feedback to see if they wanted to add anything else.

Then she said her partner dev got in an accident and she's not giving keys right now because it's just her doing all the stuff and it's too much to deal with and anyway we only paid 10 cents so she's just taking off. And hasn't been heard from in a couple of days last I checked.

Supposedly she will give the keys when the game is done (or more doner than its already done state) in about a month. But she also seems confused about the process and said Groupees is being sketchy and not getting back to her.

Groupees support ignored me. Shifty Slug is a lazy piece of shit who won't leave his chat room and I pretty much give up at this point and just think she's another asshole dev, the game probably sucks and I'm tired of screaming at the wall for the damned key we were promised because no one's listening at this point.

TL;DR in some kind of Eurolish Biart says no Steam keys for Depth Hunter Bundle Buyers because this is the deluxe/yearly update/sequel/director's game of a millenium/corporate lifestyle version. Except the Greenlight Bundle, because he apparently made some sort of agreement with them he didn't make with the others.
Huh.

Somehow I skipped every bundle this was in.

Does that mean I get a key when it's released?

So uh, question. Anyone remember a game called "Ray's the Dead"?

But I could've sworn this was included in a bundle at one point. Anyone know?
I don't recall it ever being bundled, and would be surprised if it had since it's not finished and Sony seems to be pushing it pretty hard for PS4.

Maybe you're thinking of Three Dead Zed?

Nah, that one was bundled years before Rays came out.

It's just that it sounds so damn familiar... it just felt like it was bundled before. The game looks great so here's hoping it does well.

I don't know. It's been on the coming soon tab for ages so maybe you clicked on it awhile ago or something. If it was bundled I'll be sad I missed it; the game does indeed look great.

Question: Have there been mini-sales before during PAX weekend?

By "mini-sales" I'm referring to events like QuakeCon, Bafta awards, etc.

PAX Prime is a week away....

Last year they had a PAX East sale.

I believe those frames are "and shit". It's from Jennifer's Body (2009).

The sexist/double standard territory is simple. It also has -nothing- to do with the details of any given application. I've read many times in this thread that a woman having sex with five guys is a "slut" (pejorative, labeling her as inferior). If a man has sex with five women there's no negative stigmatism/labeling (and well short of being a "playa"). This is a sexist double-standard.

Yep, under the veil of anonymity people with go on and on in a way that they otherwise wouldn't do in-person.
she should've had sex with 4 girls in one day while she was single. oh fuck, guess I'm a slut

damn you know you have problems when your new year's resolution was to sleep with a girl with a name starting with every letter of the alphabet. only got through 20 that year, and there's a shit load of amys out there

#IamASlut

guess I've always been a hoarder, I just seem to change what I hoard.

so, is borderlands 2 goty worth 9.99?

Seems you got pretty late to the whole discussion then, and didn't even bother to read properly. Yeah, she's a shitty asshole for cheating. That's been established and no one disputed that. That's not what the whole fucking discussion was about. The whole discussion was about the whole "she bribed them with sex for coverage, lulz, let's start a witch hunt with no actual evidence to support that fact"

But once more, the only things you guys can do is saying "hurr durr, you're such a white knight" and sucessfully managing to not know how to read or how to have proper discussions.
The discussion was about Zoe Quinn, not about one specific aspect of the scandal that you have latched onto since it's your last ditch chance at being arguably "right" about one portion of the Zoe Quinn debacle.

I never brought up nor argued with you about the "sex for coverage" side of things, because I don't care one way or another for that. No one takes gaming review sites seriously anyways, what's the point? I commented on what I wanted to comment about (how much of a filthy slut she is), and gave you a shiny white knight picture because HURR DURR that's what you are.

Any questions, sir Whitest of Whitingvale?

Except the Greenlight Bundle, because he apparently made some sort of agreement with them he didn't make with the others.

Apparently, he plans to do yearly updates of his games like a sports game so even though people who bought some of those bundles may have voted on Greenlight and helped to get him in, he won't be giving them keys because he's skipping of Depth Hunter 1 and releasing Depth Hunter 1.1 2 because 1 is so last year.

This guy brings up a good, if ESL-ish point. I also skipped the Greenlight bundle because I figured I already had it from Groupees.

Oh and Biart didn't even re-list the Sequel on Greenlight, he pulled shenanigans and changed the original greenlight listing for DH1 to DH2. It's got the same Greenlight ID even http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=93069545

Here's an old Facebook link he put up in 2012 for Depth Hunter Not 2. https://www.facebook.com/BiartHQ/posts/483322261691885

I know this is your job, but bro to bro, don't even bother with Depth Hunter. That game is a hot pile of shit that shouldn't even be installed, let alone added to your library. It's utter garbage.

Even if that's true, it's some scheisty shit to change your Greenlight listing that everyone voted for after it gets in to the 'sequel' (and by all accounts from those who played it I use that term loosely) and say NO SOUP FOR YOU! If he gets away with that crap then other scumbag indies will try too.

Oh and he locked the thread now so apparently he's just going to censor anyone who brings it up.

Pretty sure I upvoted for it on greenlight before he changed the name.. If I had known this would have happened I would've removed my vote.

Well if you voted for it at all then you had to have because according to the Wayback Machine Archive that listing was just called "Depth Hunter" up until the point it got greenlit.

Yeah, I'm not even sure I would care if it weren't for the fact that he didn't even bother trying to put DH 1 on Steam. I don't need a Steam key for your allegedly new and fancy version; just give me a key for the one I already paid for.

Right. All of this could have been solved last year if he had just put the damned first game up when it got Greenlit but no, he goes and decides he wants to put the 'new and improved' version up and apparently either knows or thinks he'd get dumped back to Greenlight for the sequel (Valve is really inconsistent about that sort of thing) so he pulls a switcheroo.

He can still put it up too but now he's all like 'That's so last year' and wants to be EA Sports but for diving with yearly releases.

All we can do is raise hell in social media, flag the Greenlight and product pages for scamming, and hope someone at Valve actually does their job and kicks the dev out of Steam.

More likely if they do anything they'll update the Greenlight TOS to cover their ass and basically say too bad, too sad like they did when the Monsters and Munitions devs ran off and abandoned their highly unfinished Early Access game.

If you're going to play it, definitely. I just recently started playing it (got the game and season pass cheap a while back), and with 18 hours in, I'd say it's worth 10 bucks. I've never really been a fan of FPS games, but the mixture of Diablo-type loot pinatas and guns is just fun as hell.

There's an indie off Steam sale going on now at http://www.showmethegames.com/dirtydozen.php

100% goes to the devs if you care about that sort of thing. It's basically just a redirect that goes to their sites. Most of the prices are pretty meh but I think 66% might be a new low for Loren.

The site is not entirely clear about which games do/don't come with Steam keys but I know some do or you can generate one with you existing key (like Loren).

Oh and Puppygames put one of his games up. :p

I thought it was a rogue-like dating sim
I would buy that. Seriously.

Though it should be called a rouge-like.

I posted over in the Gamersgate thread, but for anyone who is interested in "Contrast" it can be had for $3.75 over at Gamersgate and requires Steamworks.

Link:http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-CONTRAST/contrast

According to Enhanced Steam its lowest historical was 3.74 so this is a good price. Just wanted to post here for those that don't peruse both threads.
I think it was $3 after voucher on GMG before, however that was a long time ago. I can't recommend it at that price.. or any price really. It's not much of a "game", but at least you'll get some Steam credit after selling off the cards.
